They took the time to explain the issue and the solution, and the work was completed efficiently and with great attention to detail. It’s hard to find service providers you can truly trust, and these guys exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!

This is our second time using the services of CR Plumbing and both experiences have been great. The Techs are friendly and knowledgeable. They explain all that is going on and make sure you understand all that will happen before starting any work. On this most recent job, Kaleb and Pascal worked together and completed the repair efficiently. From conversation with them, I learned that they have years of experience. CR is now our go to service provider.

​I still recommend CR plumbing! Their technicians do an excellent job; they are always honest with me and the price is fair. I was especially impressed this time with Caleb and Andrew because they ran into several issues with the original plumbing install (details below), they did things the right way and it did not increase the price. I called CR Plumbing this time because we had a problem with the water pressure in the house​. The first thing they did was to measure the pressure with no water running and again with several fixtures turned on and we​ definitely had a pressure valve problem. They also looked at the water heaters (since they are affected by the pressure) and found that we needed a new expansion tank. The old one was full of water and had been making noises when we ran hot water. Caleb and Andrew gave me a price; I agreed and they got started. One of the issues they had to deal with was a bad ​(acute) angle of the pipe in the ground. Rather than forcing another bad angle, They built a clever connection (see picture). When replacing the water heater expansion tank they used a bigger one that was up to code and anchored to ​a stud in the wall. The old one was just attached loosely. Caleb and Andrew stayed and did the job right even though it got a bit late and dark. The price did not change from the original estimate and the maintenance plan saved us money.​ As long as CR keeps doing a good job like this, we will be calling and recommending them. Electrical Service I had a problem with an outlet and GFI. I tried replacing them but kept having an issue. I had good results with CR's plumbing and A/C services, so I tried their electrical service. Timing was very fortunate since the technicians just finished another job and were heading back. Andrew and Olaf are trained techs that CR just acquired from a company that recently shut down. They determined that not only was one of the CFIs bad, but I had two CFIs on the same circuit. I'm guessing that a lot of CR's work is from builders who don't do things the right way. The net is that they did a great job, tested everything, made sure all the plugs and plates matched and kept me posted along the way. I hate when I have to call CR, but I know they will get things fixed right. Heating System I had CR come out to test the heating system. It felt like the temp was not warm enough coming out of the upstairs unit. I wanted to get ahead of this if it was a problem. Ian measured the temp coming out and checked for leaks. Turns out that there was not a heating problem, but the air was blowing directly on my visiting daughter and will just get a different vent to change the air direction. CR called this routine maintenance and it was no charge. I will definitely be using them again for any HVAC, plumbing or electrical work.

I’m really glad I listened to Chris and Larry’s recommendations. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond during the service. They checked all the major systems — water pressure, the pressure-reducing valve, both expansion tanks, and more — and took the time to explain how everything works and how to properly maintain the water heater. The anode rods were definitely at the end of their life and truly needed replacement. I wouldn’t have known to take care of that if it weren’t for Chris and Larry’s advice. They recommended upgrading to power anode rods, which is a much better option than the standard ones, and I really appreciate their honesty and expertise. They also replaced both expansion tanks. Even though the second one wasn’t completely full, they proactively swapped it out for peace of mind, which I really valued. Overall, I now feel confident that I won’t have to worry about my water heaters for a long time, aside from routine annual maintenance. Huge peace of mind thanks to Chris and Larry.
