They did a wonderful job on our main water break. Was done very quickly and we are very satisfied with the work! Would recommend them to anyone!!!

Great experience with Coblentz! Amazing team from the beginning-Randy, Matt, Alex and Zack. Very professional and did a superb job, while also being meticulous with the whole process of replacing my 28 year old electric water heater, with a tankless gas water heater. I would highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs!

John Becker and the crew that did the work with him were phenomenal. They replaced all the water and drain lines into entire house, with minimal wall damage. He was kind, respectful, and very communicative. Thank you!

John was very professional, efficient, kind and well versed in explaining his expertise in his trade. I would recommend him to anyone. Update: after scheduling more services Koblentz sent out more men the next week and they did their work. However, when I came home there was a leak. So I called them up and they came out the same day at night and said they would have to charge me $500 to fix the leak and that they would have to come back the next day. The leak was from the supply line to the dishwasher. I asked why did they do half the job? I can replace a supply line and for a $30 supply line that should have been part of the repair. I thought it was very poor service and unprofessional to complete half the job then expect me to finish it. I liked John but this experience makes me want to go elsewhere. Response to their response: Unfortunately, I was never contacted by management even if they did they should have done it for free as Koblentz caused the the line to break and caused damage to my property. If it wasn't for the fact that I inspected their work, there could have been damage well over $500.

Got here quickly and explained everything we needed and got the job done! Thanks to Coblentz and Bret for all the help today…. Update!! Did this review while service guy was there! Long story short nothing was fixed but yet my husband goes and rents an auger and does it first try! 600$ to them for 21minutes of service!! Said they used pro auger etc that goes out 12 feet but obviously since I’m a woman and was home alone they took advantage. Guy was nice but we feel super scammed at this point and are reporting this to BBB

I contacted Coblentz Plumbing (Hartville) because I believed they were an honest, trustworthy local company that would have my best interests in mind. I grew up in the Uniontown/Hartville area, went to Lake High School, and had always heard good things about the Coblentz name. Unfortunately, my experience did not live up to that reputation. I originally called them after having a new Rheem water softener professionally installed by another local company. I wasn’t fully comfortable with the quality of that installation and wanted a second set of eyes to ensure everything was functioning correctly and safely. The technician was friendly and initially seemed very trustworthy. He even pointed out a minor issue with my garbage disposal and told me I could easily fix it myself, saying it wasn’t worth paying them $200 to do it. That made me feel like he was being honest and looking out for me. He then offered to “check a few other things” to make sure everything was safe. I agreed and went back to working from home while he looked things over. What bothered me most is that he never actually inspected the newly installed water softener, which was the main reason I called. Instead, I was told: My water pressure was too high My expansion tank was taking on water and would eventually need replaced The water softener was running but not softening My water supposedly had a chlorine level of 4, which was presented as concerning—especially since I have young children Based on these claims, I was presented with a “solution” that involved: A new water softener A whole‑home carbon filtration system A new hot water tank Pressure‑related upgrades Total estimate: just under $10,000 That immediately raised red flags, so I sought a second opinion from Culligan, a dedicated water treatment company. Their findings were very different: Water hardness was only slightly elevated and easily adjustable Chlorine levels tested at 0.2, which is normal and safe They showed me how to adjust the softener settings and advised waiting a week to recheck results No urgency, no scare tactics, no expensive system push Additionally, a standard hot water tank can be purchased for under $1,000 at Home Depot, which made the quoted replacement cost feel extremely excessive. Based on my experience, I felt pressured with worst‑case scenarios and expensive “fixes” that turned out to be unnecessary. I was never shown actual data or testing results to support the claims being made. Everyone should do their own due diligence, but I strongly recommend getting multiple opinions before committing to any major work from Coblentz Plumbing or their sister company, Bonsky. What I was told simply did not align with follow‑up testing from another professional. This was a very disappointing experience from a company I truly wanted to trust.

I had an incredible experience with Coblentz Plumbing this week. We went to start gardening and planting trees in the backyard, and when I turned on the outdoor spigot… water started pouring out from underneath our siding. (Yeah… guess who forgot to disconnect the hose this winter 🤦‍♂️ — this guy.) I gave Coblentz a call and Mark Lamielle came out to take a look. He quickly assessed the situation, explained exactly what was going on, and assured me he could get us fixed up and back to normal in no time. While he was there, he asked about our water quality. I had previously had it tested and knew it wasn’t great — we were getting a ton of calcium buildup on our shower doors and our old softener clearly wasn’t doing its job anymore. Mark was able to identify multiple issues and walk me through solutions without any pressure. On top of that, they offered a financing option that worked perfectly for my family’s budget. Then came install day — Zach and Alex showed up, and I honestly don’t know if I’ve seen a better duo. Their communication was on point from start to finish. They treated our home with respect — shoe covers, and even laid down a company logo mat before getting to work. That kind of detail says a lot. They installed a new carbon and water softener system, hooked us up with a reverse osmosis system (our water tastes incredible now), fixed both of my leaking sinks, repaired the original busted line, and even drained and serviced my water heater. The expertise was top-notch. The customer service was even better. And to top it all off, Alex grabbed a leaf blower and cleaned up the leaves in my garage — totally unexpected and way above and beyond. I’m absolutely thrilled with the entire experience. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Mark, Zach, and Alex are rockstars, and Coblentz Plumbing is hands down the best plumbing company I’ve ever worked with.

My problem is not with their work. From what I can see it was quality. The problems I have is over charging and trying to upcharge. Their quote for a hot water heater was $1000 higher than the other estimate I got but I was under a time crunch and was forced to agree to their price. I did not understand they were also installing an overflow tank, I think I needed it but do not understand why it was installed. I doubt that justifies the $1000. Then I was told they would void my warranty on the tank if I did not agree to pay an additional $1000 for a pressure regulator. This seemed like a complete scam. Then they also recommended completely replacing my sump pump that worked but had a minor problem. They also recommended a water softener which I also refused because I have city water (though it is hard). If you hire them you will over pay and they will try to upcharge you.

No-showed the original appointment to a business. After I hired another plumber, I notified them I no longer needed service on the confirmation call which was 4 days after the no-show. Irregardless, a technician still arrived 15 minutes after I notified them of my other very responsible plumber being awarded the commercial contract. I spoke with him outside, told him I no longer needed service, and did not allow entry. Instead of leaving he proceeded to try to gain entry to the house several times via failed sales pittches. All on video. No diagnostic or repair was performed, but I later received a $75 invoice. Also, uses an undercooked AI phone/scheduling system..you lack of professionalism and UNFAIR BUSINESS PRACTICE needs some work bro

Originally I gave them a five-star, but I scheduled an appointment for today between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. no one has shown up and when I call in I have to deal with some AI garbage that does not help you whatsoever. I guess I'll just cancel and use a real plumbing company that actually talks to people on the phone. Damn shame, I gave these guys five stars before but this is ridiculous. what happened to customer service? Fantastic and knowledgeable! We were having jet pump issues for our well. Bret Hankins came out, installed a new submersible pump and a new tank. In and out in no time and did an excellent job. Very pleased with the work and great service! We will use again if any issues arise in the future

We contacted Coblentz about getting our old rusted and leaking privet well gas regulator replaced, most companies won't touch this for some reason. Bret was prompt and professional, very friendly, and made sure to do his best to get everything taken care of, even found another leak we were unaware of at a indoor valve. He kept us in the loop as he tried to get us the right regulator after the only company that had it messed up twice sending it leaving us without gas for a few days. As soon as he had the correct one in hand he came out and got it installed and made sure everything was working properly before leaving. Would definitely hire him again for any plumbing or gas repair needs.

Coblentz Plumbing was absolutely wonderful to work with. The ladies at the office are very kind and courteous and our technician Brett was amazing. He had to order a different regulator for the gas because the supplier sent the wrong one and he made sure the supplier that sent the new regulator got it to him before the evening so he could hook it up so we were able to have our gas turned back on. I just want to say thank you to Brett and the other wonderful people my wife and have talked to at Coblentz Plumbing, you guys and half have gained another customer that will call you if we need anymore fixes with gas or plumbing down the road.

Brett is amazing! We have a lot of water on our property and its imperative that our sump pumps, which run a lot, are functional. Sunday night the main pump was having issues. Brett came out after hours and spent a good bit of time trying to determine why we are getting so much water and what he could do to keep our pump running until they could get out to replace it this week. He truly cared about our situation and came out first thing this morning to replace and upgrade our systems! It's nice to know we can always count on Coblentz Plumbing!

Excellent customer service. Brett was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. I had an issue with low water pressure. Brett came in the same day I called for service. He quickly diagnosed the water pump needed replaced. He also noticed water tank was old and suggested it be replaced at same time. Brett was able to do my job right away so I would have water again! I appreciate his expertise and efficiency. I highly recommend Brett from Coblentz Plumbing!

I called about a faint gas smell around my stove. Bret Hankins came out the next day and found the gas leak. He replaced the valve and supply line and even vacuumed under the stove. He was very personable and professional. I like that they had him come out since he had been here before. Afterwords I mentioned something I was not satisfied with from a previous job and he was quick to make it right. I was very impressed.
