Not good at all! A friend and i went there and when we walked in the smell was awful. After we got our tea, we were driving home and both of us started to feel sick. I got home and right away threw up. Safe to say that I will never go there again

me and some friends went in to order at like 9:40 and the girl at the counter rushed us out. After saying "oh no" when we walked in she told us while we were looking at the menu to hurry up and was rude when we just left instead of ordering

Came here once and had an not the best experience; today, I decided to give them another chance and it turns out that it was worse than expected. The manager Ming was rude to my friend and I when we simply asked what the ingredients in the non dairy creamer he used, his answer was he did not know. Next, we decided to ask the brand of non-dairy creamer he used instead and he refused to tell and stated he did not know and acted as if it was none of our business and it was a health concern over a certain ingredient-sodium caseinate- in the non-dairy creamer that a lot of bubble tea non-dairy creamers have that could cause health issues with some people. Moreover, when my friend wanted to order bubble tea they claimed both to me and her that they were out of black tapioca pearls, yet when I came back to refund my first tea over a concern, I saw the black pearls sitting outside on the counter. My friend did not order just because they claimed to be out of the black tapioca pearls that most people probably get in their drinks. When my friend spoke up to the manager about how disrespectful he was to us when we asked just simple questions that he should know and it is our right to ask and know, the manager just blew my friend off, along with me when I tried to tell him how it is important to realize that the non dairy creamer is not safe for everyone since it could cause someone to go to the ER room and he stated for those people who have a concern with it regardless to avoid his restaurant. Sorry Ming, but you have lost a loyal customer and an almost loyal one.

I'm in town visiting family. Last time I was in town, I tried another boba place and was impressed, however Ming's is my new favorite and blows the other locations out of the water! I have gone to many boba tea places across many states and Ming's has by far the most tea flavors and topping options I have ever seen! I was super confused when I was asked if I wanted a whole serving of my topping choices, I have never been asked this anywhere else. I had to ask what was meant by that since I wasn't sure of the amount you'd get with a serving. Since I was unsure I opted to get my tapioca pearls a whole serving and my popping boba a half serving just to see how much I'd get. I honestly don't notice a difference in serving size but it's hard for me to tell. Regardless, the fact that you can choose how much of your topping you'd like in your drink is pretty cool. Other places just drop it in and what you get is what you get. Staff was super friendly, one worker apologized to me twice for how long my order took to make. Social distancing at this time while waiting for your drink is a bit difficult as the wait area isn't very large. I did try a mochi waffle too and it was very yummy! Tasted like funnel cake batter cooked in the form of a waffle! And a plus for the cutest mascot on their cups! I won't think twice about where I get my boba tea in town from now on! Can't wait to come back and try more flavors!

I used to live in the Kent area and I found this hidden gem in the plaza next to Acme a few years back, now that Their tea is authentic, natural and this establishment is veteran owned. The staff is also very friendly and professional and basically tea connoisseurs, they are very educated in the different types of teas and bobas. The atmosphere is clean and fresh. 4 years ago they had the longest wall in the establishment about a quarter of the way covered in post it notes, that's where customers write down their dreams and aspirations..so cool and really amazing that the owners give their customers a chance to manifest their dreams in that way. Last month I went back to Ming's while visiting Ohio and the entire wall is now almost covered. You never have to worry about the tea being to sweetened or lack there of. They have truly perfected ever batch and they use actual natural tea leaves, they don't use a powder or anything and it shows. Their menu is full of different tea, flavors, and boba pearl flavors. My favorite is the blueberry green tea with kiwi boba. It is very close to downtown so you can grab your tea and spend time exploring Kent. 10/10 recommend.

I'd like to start off with saying I never leave reviews I decided to pop by this place for the first time and came in during the afternoon rush. I ordered one of the milk teas and waited. The shop was packed and I could tell they were behind. This isn't what bothered me however. What bothered me was hearing them be almost 10 orders behind and watching as 2 of the workers had a full conversation with someone across the counter. I heard the workers mention that they were "in the middle of a rush" and still 2 of the workers spent a lot of time chatting with this other person. I got my drink a full 20 minutes after I entered the shop. I'd like to say that I understand being swamped during a rush, I used to work in the food industry. It's hard work, however, I find it unprofessional and that it reflects poorly to openly have such a long conversation with someone across the counter while you're behind. My drink itself did not have much of a taste to it, which it should have for what I ordered. This was disappointing after waiting 20 minutes. I do not think I will be returning.

I'm glad I finally got to try this cute hidden shop and meet the incredibly friendly Ming. Ming has a wonderful enthusiastic energy that is inspiring and refreshing. And the gentleman who is always assisting her always greets you with a wonderful smile and quiet yet elegant aura. Along with their combined characteristics, you will also enjoy their fresh teas and clean environment. The spot might seem small from the outside but is rather large (good for groups) indoors. With a game shelf for all to enjoy and quiet atmosphere you can't go wrong with a visit to this tea shop. Although they do not currently offer as many flavors, boba, etc as other bubble tea houses, they do have a jasmine milk tea that I have yet to see anywhere else. Even if you don't like tea, just try one of their fruity flavors with popping pearls & you wont be disappointed (or even taste the tea). The adorable animal themed lids they put on top couldn't be any cuter! This is also a great place for local students to study as there is plenty of space to spread out your work and focus.

We are frequent visitors of this establishment. The three of us go at minimum five times a week, which puts our cost somewhere around $75/wk. Needless to say, we are fans of their bubble tea. We decided to follow up our meal at Cane's with some bubble tea, and we wanted to finish our meal there. The owner approached us, and rudely stated, "you need to take that out of here." Super unprofessional in a world that so heavily emphasizes customer satisfaction. We failed to find evidence of any signs that said no outside food allowed. We figured because they don't serve dinner, we should be okay to eat there. We are also akin to following rules, so we weren't just looking to step on people's toes. The way to approach this likely should've been at least more polite, if not more respectful, especially with the owner knowing that we go there so frequently. Our new business will be with Ha! Tea down the road: their loss, I guess.

I think they're still working out a lot of corks at this place. I asked a couple of questions when ordering and the employee could not answer them. I ordered a green tea with aloe vera unsweetened. When I tasted it it had a ton of sugar in it. My son ordered some thing that was supposed to be sweetened and had no sugar in it lol they graciously replaced mine with an unsweetened drink. I was with my two children they both got an Oreo cookies bubble tea I think it was called. Neither of them liked it that much. Way too many crumbs in it. Upon walking in it smells very good. This facility appears to be quite clean. It's decorated nicely and has a very nice ambience and seating. I will try it again and give an updated review in a couple of weeks after they have trained their health better.

When I searched for boba tea in the Kent Ohio area Incame across some competitors for my Boba Dollars. Ming's Tea's diverse menu and the fact that they serve ball waffles hooked me. The atmosphere was cool. The walls are covered with handwritten post-it notes and a "wish wall," which gives the shop a creative college-town vibe. It feels fun and full of good energy. I ordered a Peach Boba with blueberry popping balls and enjoyed it while working on my laptop. Before leaving, I grabbed a couple drinks to go: a Pineapple-Mango-Orange with blueberry popping balls and a Honeydew Milk Tea for a friend. All of them were delicious. The staff was friendly. A huge menu means I am looking forward to coming back and trying something new. Ming's worth the stop.

I've stopped at Ming's a few times, and I think it's a nice little shop. Lots of good options and they switch out specials frequently, which is nice. Staff is also usually pretty nice and friendly, and it can be a good place to get work done or meet with friends. One note is that their payment reader has trouble with certain cards, which can be annoying. They used to show you the screen so you could know when to tap your card and then you could type in your tip if you wanted to give one, but they haven't been able to do that the last few times I've been in. So transactions take a few tries which is annoying. I also like to tip to round my amount to an even dollar amount, which I can't do when they can't show the screen. Hoping this gets fixed soon.

The Ming Dynasty lives on! Ming's Bubble Tea has a cool guy working here, but he often can't handle the volume of people coming in for his excellent drinks. I've only tried them once. The second time, I dragged Amber, Matt, and my girl in here and after waiting 10 mins, he apologized and told us it'd be 10 more before he could whip up drinks for us. There were only about 5 people waiting in front of us, but when one guy is making all those fancy drinks it can really hold things up. Anyway, I'm looking forward to trying this for a second time, but it was a bit of a detour and a big waste of time, so try Ha! Tea north of the center of Kent, and I'll review this again if I actually get served only 3rd trip.
