Looking for a trustworthy, reliable, dependable, thorough, diligent, and fair, and friendly, easy to communicate with, plumbing company? And one who cleans up after themselves. I totally recommend - Bud's Plumbing Heating and Air. I recently had a(nother) plumbing issue, they responded, and stayed on top of it till they came up with a solution and resolved it. Once again, II am a satisfied customer and I recommend to any and all their services. I've used this company since 2007 (Ibought my house in 2006) for all my plumbing issues. They were recommended to me by my neighbors and others who have been long standing clients, all who continue to be more than satisfied with their work.

Keith provided me with honest and correct potential future problems, fixes. Keith was very informative with each part of the inspection, explaining everything thoroughly, very helpful on my part. Keith was pleasure to meet. A great representative for Bud’s Plumbing. This was a total plumbing system inspection and evaluation with our yearly maintenance program.

Had to totally replace our HVAC, as the builder put the wrong size units in. The entire team were amazing! They installed a temporary thermostat so we could get heat during the cold snap we were experiencing! Completed the job in record time and am more than happy with the results! If I could give them a higher rating I would! Very courteous, and knowledgeable! Thank you so much to our favorite installers, Brandon, Mark, and Anthony….and to Tim and Dave for giving us the best installation team!

I am sorry to say that I cannot recommend this business. I asked them out because one of my toilets was rocking (not leaking) and one had a small leak around the wax ring. The end result was the leaking toilet was fixed but the rocking toilet was broken and now is not available. I was promised that the owner would call me the next day but instead I received a bill a couple of days later for new hoses for both toilets yes Including the one that was broken new wax rings and time ( much of which time was spent to Their van. So the bill was over 200.

I called buds plumbing because my office toilets backed up and flooded my bathrooms. Buds came out and said I needed a sewer line replacement for 29000.After the job was completed two weeks later my toilets flooded again. They finally fixed the problem but i felt excessive overcharged and upset that they were not thorough the first time. Now buds wont return my emails to talk about this and their mistakes. I would never recommend them to my friends.

We had a plumber tell us we probably had a leak under our concrete and he reccomended this company to fix it. We called on a Wed and they sent a tech on Fri to find our leak. It was pretty interesting , when I was first told that we had a broken pipe under our concrete in our house I pictured a 6 inch wide trench dug along our floor until the leak was found. Luckily it is much more precise. We showed the tech where we though the leak was ( the ceramic tile in that spot was hotter than surrounding tiles.) He put on a pair of headphones fastened to a machine and listened for the leak. He also went to the hot water heater and forced air through the lines to help him. He identified where the leak was and left for the shop. That cost $200 an hour , he was there one hour. I called the shop and asked about the next step, the lady said that she would call back that day after she spoke to the tech and could give me an estimate. She didn't call back that day Friday. I called them early Monday and they still said they didn't have an estimate or a schedule, they said they would call back in about 2 hours. They never called back that day either. By that time I was kind of miffed but they finally called Tuesday and e mailed a quote for repairs and said they would be there Thurs. So basically the comm issue I had with the management is what takes them from 5 to 4 stars - everything else was 5 stars - you know the actual workers. The workers came Thurs, I was at work and only got to meet them for about 5 minutes when I came home for lunch. But my wife liked them - they were very respectful of the house. When they jackhammered the concrete they put a wet towell down and that made it dust free. They had to take up a couple of extra tiles (I had taken up 4 that the tech told me to), They used my dremel to cut the grout and lifted the tiles out without breaking them They found the leak, the weld was in a very difficult small space and they did an excellent job - we have had the repairs in for a week and no issues - nice hot showers again. Best thing was the price - $1300 - 2 guys were here for 2 days I would guess we used up about 20 man hours of labor - so I thought the price was more than fair. I would use this company again - but God willing no other pipes in my concrete will ever break again.

I cannot say enough good things about Bud’s Plumbing Heating & Air, and especially about our technician, Cody Perry. What started as what looked like a simple backup turned into a complete nightmare. I first called my home warranty company, and the plumber they sent out asked where my cleanout was. I told him I didn’t know, and his response was basically, “Call me back when you find it.” That led to us searching everywhere for it (with no luck) and calling — I’m not exaggerating — about 15 other plumbers. We got quotes ranging anywhere from $3,000 to $30,000 to install a new cleanout because no one believed we had one. Then Cody showed up. He asked the same question: “Where’s your cleanout?” We told him we didn’t know. But instead of shutting the door on us, he said, “Okay, we have other options.” He was also the only plumber willing to try clearing the line from the toilet. And guess what? That’s when we discovered we DID have a cleanout — it had just been buried by the previous owners. When he attempted to clear the line from the other toilet, the tool got caught in the cleanout lid — which just so happened to be buried right under where I was standing… mid-panic attack. Cody immediately jumped into action, ran outside, helped dig up the cleanout, and then snaked the line properly. That’s when we discovered a serious root intrusion in the pipe. He cleared it and told us honestly that we’d probably need to jet it later. A couple months went by — and he was right. He came back, hydro-jetted the line, and we have had a clear system ever since. What seemed like a complicated, stressful mess never felt impossible with Cody there. He didn’t upsell us. He didn’t push unnecessary work. He didn’t walk away when it wasn’t obvious. He stuck with it. Thank you, Cody, for your persistence, integrity, and hard work — and for helping us find our buried cleanout instead of convincing us to install a brand-new one we didn’t actually need. If you want someone who will actually solve the problem instead of just quoting the most expensive option, call Bud’s — and ask for Cody.

I used Bud's back six years and had the best of service and competitive prices, but the other day I had a commercial hot water heater start to leak. I called Bud's out for the job and they told me it was a dio -electric union. It sounded to me like this was a major part that had electricity going to it. Come to find out the dio-electic union is just a nut with part copper and part cast iron. There are no electric components like I thought. Bud's gave me a price of 900 dollars to replace it and I gave them the okay because I trusted them. They did say part of their fee was high because they needed to drain the hot water heater so that they could replace the part and that sometimes it can take a couple of hours on a 100 gallon heater. I explained to them that I would start draining the heater an hour before they showed up , so that they wouldn't have to wait and maybe they would give me a break on the bill. When they came the heater was drained all the way, but what I found out afterwards was that the part that was being replaced was up near the top of the heater and that only a third of it needed to be drained. Which only takes minutes to drain that amount. Also I did some investigating and that part cost them 30 dollars. I did call Bud's about the bill and they would not adjust it any lower and their reasoning was that something else could have been the problem for the leak and that is why they charged what they charged. They said it might have been something more serious like an electrical board. So I asked does that mean you wouldn't charge me extra if it was something other than the dio-electric union? They said no that they would have to charge more for both parts and I assume labor even though I didn't ask about that . I certainly learned the hard way. I hope that this helps someone else in the future.

I had used this company in past they were ok. In March of 2013 I called them to unplug a couple of toilets in the front of the house. Their plumber hydrojeted the main line which caused raw sewage to flood out of the rear two bathrooms Their plumber then left said he was coming back but never returned abandoning the job and leaving us with a house of raw sewage.. Later a Sacramento County plumbing inspector told me it was against a local ordinance for them to access the main line and they should not have done it. The owner , John, came to the house the next day checked out the damage and stated they were not responsible. After telling my insurance company the story, My insurance company, Fireman's Fund, hired a plumbing investigator, Bullseye plumbing to ascertain the cause of the sewage overflow Their report stated that the damage was due to Bud's Plumbing Service incompetent repair. The amount of damage to the house was $40,000. My family and I had to leave the house while repairs were until it was safe enough to live in the house. My family suffered great stress, and inconvenience, financial loss, and the potential of having health problems from the raw sewage. Recently, Bud's plumbing service's insurance company paid my company $28,000 for the damage caused by Bud's plumbing's negligent repair. Message to Bud's plumbing do you think you were responsible if your company paid out the big bucks. I have filed a complaint with the Contractors LIcensing Board and I am waiting for resolution on this complaint Avoid this company at all costs.

When a plumbing issue is more than just a simple issue, I have learned it really is better to call a professional. Bud's is who I have been calling for the past 10+ years for the 12 properties I manage. Bud's has done darn near everything plumbing related for me at the properties during this time. From clearing blockages to sending a camera down a sewer line, I am always pleased with the work Bud's has done. The prices are competitive and because the techs are all competent, none of the jobs have needed to be done a second time, which saves costs over time. Also, the customer service at Bud's is outstanding! During business hours Bud's always answer their phones. Typically, all I have to do is describe the issue and provide the name and number of my tenants. The good people at Bud's then coordinate with my tenants within minutes of my initial call to get service scheduled. They almost always have me on the schedule within 24 hours. Even though they are not staffed on weekends, I have left some urgent messages and received a call back within an hour. Other times I have left non-urgent messages on the weekends and I have always gotten called back by 8:00am on Monday. I have used other plumbers over the years, but there is no one out there that I have found to be as good as Bud's on all levels.

As preparation for the summer heat we always have our HVAC unit serviced and inspected for any issues. After reading up on reviews, and receiving multiple quotes, we decided to go with Bud’s. The technicians found no issues and even helped me configure our Nest Thermostat. It turns out our home being older it is not equipped with a Common C-Wire. When the technicians left, our AC was blowing cold and strong. After a few days we realized water dripping and the AC going in and out. It turned out the Nest configuration was overworking the blower motor and it had gone out. I called Bud’s and asked them to come out and help us resolve the problem. Moana quickly responded and on the same day Axel showed up at our door with portable AC units while we waited for the part to come in. Although uncertain of the actual cause for the failure of the blower motor, Moana offered to cover the entire cost of the service and fortunately for us the part was still under warranty. Bud’s showed up when it mattered most and with no hesitation to show that they wanted nothing more than to help. My family and I could not be more impressed and grateful. Thank you for your efficient response and kindness you have shown our family. Highly recommend Bud’s for all your plumbing and HVAC needs.

I was washing dishes and what happens? The water and muck rises and doesn't drain. I called Bud's just before 7:00 am and Liz had an appointment scheduled for the afternoon. Keith called me 30 minutes before he arrived. He came on time, identified himself, put on shoe covers and assessed the problem. Within one hour my drain had been snaked and a full explanation of what was found was told to me. I admit I did have Keith shine a light in the pipe so I could see what caused the backup. In all fairness, it had been more than 10 years since it happened before. And Bud's came to the rescue then, too. When Keith was finished I looked on my porch and didn't see one spec of dirt. It was as if nothing was done it was so clean. Keith explained the charges; what he did and recommendations for going forward. I have been in property management for over 35 years. Bud's is the only plumber I would use for an emergency or not. I'm going to have them come back to drain my hot water tank (that has never been done in over 20 years) and inspect my HVAC system. Yes, they do those things, too. Every person I have ever dealt with at Bud's has been knowledgeable, polite and patient. Customer service gets 10 stars.

A pleasure to work with. City sent high water usage letters going from 200 gal/day to over 600. Starting with Teresa's scheduling abilities and the service folks who showed up, it was all top notch! Jon Boyd and Andrew Welsh came out the following day of placing a service call. They reassured me they would get to the bottom of my excess water usage. Totally felt confident in their abilities and relief. Found a faulty gate valve in shut off, replaced that very day and extended garage hose bibb to be easily accessible. Leak found to be cold water line in master bath, they capped off and re-routed thru garage ceiling and tied in at wall. New water heater to replace 20+ yr old and replaced toilets. They went above and beyond with both service and quality of work. They were professional, knowledgeable and kept me informed every step of the way. Andrew was courteous, respectful, efficient and does great finish work. He's passionate about his chosen profession and it shows in his thoroughness, expertise and finish. Left. The areas he worked in were cleaner than he found them. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone who asks.

They came out and did the job (from what I have been told). Customer service skills are in need of review. As an offsite portfolio property manager I rely on effective communication skills with vendors to ensure things are completed. I called to follow up on a job, as I had not received any call back on the appointment to advise of the findings of said inspection of a main line. The representative had an attitude from the moment I asked for follow up on an inspection that was conducted the prior day. "An InSpEcTioN...?" "Yes, there was an inspection- I had called your company so that a plumber-" "There were roots in the mainline that were removed" "Okay, thank you. I hadn't received a follow up call so I didn't know." I'm not sure if she was just having a bad day or if it was a misunderstanding... either way it needs work. I work an insanely stressful job in which the majority of my communication is with angry homeowners. Therefore I choose to work with vendors with good communication skills and decent customer service skills. I am not even asking you to go above and beyond, its just not necessary to be a jerk

Bud’s is amazing! We had to get our tankless hot water heater descaled/flushed. I was browsing businesses online, and I came across Bud’s. I filled out a request for a quote/service online to see if they could perform the service for us. Within 5 minutes, I got a text message confirming they could do the service and even a phone call from Teresa. Teresa explained the whole process to me over the phone and informed me that they had (still have it btw) a special deal right now for only $89. FYI- this is a flat fee with no added expenses or charges. Keith was our technician who came out to perform the service. We got a 30 minute notification before Keith would arrive. Keith arrived perfectly on time! Keith was so informative and friendly the whole time. He explained what he did and the reasoning for it. I am so happy that Keith was our technician. I told Keith that I normally don’t leave reviews for anything, but the service that Teresa and he gave empowered me to do so. I can’t say enough good things about Bud’s! Thank you to the whole team, especially Keith and Teresa!
