The plumbers from Best were professional from start to finish, making sure they used the entrance to my home that made the most sense for bringing in the new hot water tank and removing the old one. They were friendly, efficient, answered all my questions, showed me how it worked and cleaned up after themselves. 100% satisfied and highly recommend!

Great service. Was working through a warranty company and Bolons Plumbing was my assigned contractor. Though the warranty company took a little longer than expected, Bolons Plumbing came out and knocked it out of the park. Shawne Bolon was in contact with me every step of the way and kept up with making sure I would be able to get scheduled and get my water service line taken care of. Him and his crew came out. All great guy's, located the line, connected to it and pulled my new line through. Hooked everything up and double and triple checked everything before having the city come out for inspection. They made sure I didn't have any new leaks and had everything buttoned up in a very timely manner. Definitely a solid company to work with and they would be my ultimate go-to in the future for any other plumbing needs. I highly recommend if you need plumbing work done to call these guys first. You would not be disappointed. Overall service is not cheap, but after the coverage from the warranty company, my out of pocket expenses were extremely reasonable.

They have done a radiant floor heating system in my barn. They came out to try to fix this needed to get a part and did not call me back. I called on four separate occasions to try to get a hold of Dave and he did not respond to my calls. I made sure I called each day left a message his secretary told me they would call me back and have it to this point.

This review is related to billing issues D & L plumbing refused to fix in a reasonable and fair manner. After working on an initial clog in my drain, D & L plumbing contracted with Drain Master to finish the job they could not. Drain Master came out and found that a small piece of PVC pipe D & L installed was completely filled with a solid, crystallized substance. Drain Master informed me someone must have poured something down the drain to cause the clog. No one in my family poured anything down the drain or touched it after D & L left. Drain master replaced the PVC pipe D & L installed, and everything worked great. D & L refused to refund the $184 I never should have been charged, as I did not cause the issue Drain Master fixed. D & L was also not upfront or transparent in communicating that they intended to charge me $184 for what was roughly 20 minutes of Drain Master's work. D & L Plumbing billed me for three hours of their labor for this job. When I saw the bill, I knew this was not correct, and inquired as to whether I was billed for when they needed to go back to the headquarters for needed supplies. I was informed that I was not charged for the trip to and from the business location, but that the workers clocked four hours but worked three at my house. While I did not watch the exact start and finish times, I received a text that D & L was on their way to my house at 1:16 PM. My wife arrives home from work no later than 4:20 PM, and they were already gone when she arrived. I was told that an hour was taken out for travel time to get the equipment, but that is not possible. I should have been billed for two hours of labor and not three, but they did not refund this hour. D & L also sent out two technicians when I only asked for one. The second gentleman appeared to be learning, and I did not agree and was not asked if it was okay to pay for someone's training time. The trainee was a very nice guy and will probably be a great plumber someday, but the bill was deceptive, as it did not itemize the second technician's charge. This charge was removed when I complained about it, but I never should of had to do that. I found trying to resolve the billing issues in a reasonable fashion very frustrating, as the person I was interacting with was not at my house and was essentially telling me I was wrong when he was not there. I did not appreciate essentially being called a liar when I was here and saw what happened. The main D & L technician was great, but I do not trust the management or their billing practices.

I have used D & L Plumbing for many years, for different issues. I have had numerous concerns through the years. The first concern involves accurate billing. I paid a $2,000+ invoice for a water heater install and two months later I was billed again. On a different occasion, I had numerous items addressed over different dates. I was double billed for one of the items on two different invoices. On the water heater install, I noticed a wet spot on concrete and a very, very slight leak. I first thought it was condensation? Over time I confirmed it was a leak...they billed me for the repair - which I felt was wrong because the leak developed from their original work. D & L installed a sump pump. On a Buckeye Sat., no one would answer a phone. Water in the basement. They charged me to replace the sump pump that was under warranty. A year later, the replaced sump pump started to run non-stop. The office claimed they had only repaired the sump pump. She was wrong - I had the paperwork. They billed me AGAIN for the second repair on a warranty sump pump. I was a good customer. I paid my bills and treated them with respect. I am firing them. I am hiring a new plumbing company and I won't be paying their final invoice. I cannot recommend D&L Plumbing. Debbie M.

This morning at 7:30am, I randomly lost power to my vehicle while on the highway. I was able to safely navigate to the off ramp adjacent to Best Plumbing Ohio’s office. After I was not able to solve the situation myself, I walked a few hundred feet to the best plumbing office. I was met with outstanding customer service, empathy, and unparalleled kindness at an hour when many are just starting their day. The vice president, Tyler, immediately got into his personal vehicle and drove all up the highway to be able to meet me on the exit ramp. Quickly jumping my vehicle and solving a challenge. They each went absolutely above and beyond to help a stranger with no immediate plumbing needs. However, these guys get that a lasting impression speaks wonders about their business and the level of service that they deliver. Kindness is a rarity and I’m glad to recognize Best Plumbing for being there for their community! Thanks again!

Read all reviews before calling. Experienced everything described in the negative reviews, nothing from the positive. Person who answered wasn't pleasant, kind of condescending when I inquired around specific services offered on their website to ensure they did the work I needed (every other plumber I called did not -- including the ones google said did). Took my info and said a secretary would have to call me back. I'm in an emergency no water scenario, so I called the next company shortly after (reviews said they're known to ghost prospecting clients this way). Needless to say my problems resolved calling a different company and I've yet to receive a call back from them almost 10 hours later. Do not recommend.

I am beyond impressed and appreciative of this company and their plumbing services on every level! From their friendly staff while scheduling, communication on timeframe day of, and especially with the help of their expert plumber, Mark who did an amazing job (efficient, effective, clean and extremely courteous and honest). This was a second separate plumbing issue we have had in less than a year and I couldn’t be more grateful for Mark and Best Plumbing!! It’s worth mentioning because often service teams are not as reliable and fair priced and do the kind of quality work as this company has now done for us not once but twice and I will always call them first!

I couldn't be happier with the work done! They did an absolutely amazing job installing a new toilet and refinishing the tub. Everything was handled professionally and efficiently — and what really stood out was their attention to detail when it came to leak prevention. They took the time to make sure every connection was secure and that there would be no issues down the road. The work area was left clean, and the finished result looks and functions great. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality plumbing work they can trust!

As a single, older woman, finding honest contractors is a challenge. I was referred to D&L by a friend and I couldn't be happier. An exterior water line leak - big job. But starting through the process, roadblocks, expensive roadblocks, were discovered (thank you to the lack of DIY construction skills of my late father-in-law and husband). D&L found a solution to the issues and saved me a lot of money. They were professional and friendly - on site and in the office. Would definitely use them again and refer them to anyone.

Used for first time based on excellent Angie's list reviews. Had used a different plumber for over 30 years who retired. Barry Ranney was assigned to our job and arrived on time as promised. He completed two separate faucet jobs and did excellent work on both. His expertise enabled him to finish both jobs in what I believe was half the time it would have taken our former plumber. I am very happy that I found the right plumber for this and all future needs. I recommend them highly.

Amazing office staff that helped schedule me as soon as they could. Mark, the plumber who came to work on our home was well-prepared and was able to properly diagnose our plumbing issues. He clearly loves what he does and it shows in his quality work. He communicated with me so I understood exactly what caused our issues. All issues resolved! I have used D & L plumbing several times over the years. Dave replaced my water heater which involved removing an aftermarket power vet system from my old heater and installing it on the new heater. This saved me about $400. Recently, my sump pump died and they were able to send someone out within just a couple of hours. Excellent service for a reasonable price.

We asked D & L Plumbing to fix our water faucet on the side of the house. It seemed complicated all that to be done in our basement and outside. Tom Rankin did a super job, and made everything go wonderfully well. He is a very skilled plumber. Thank you D & L and Tom too for a demonstration of good listening skills and top notch services.
