What reviewers praise

Adequate for basic toilet repairs and straightforward jobs per 1 long-term loyal customer who notes decades of dependable service for simple plumbing

Always dependable, altho I've realized they stick to the basic plumbing problems. If you need someone to install a shower system with 6 heads, you'll need to call Young, AND I wish Beckwith would join everyone else in this century and take debit cards.

Same faucet leak required 3 service calls over weeks and was never resolved — customer disputes second bill; leak worsened to a continuous drip

Called about a hot water leak in my bathtub. They sent Roger to fix it but it still leaked when he left. Sent me a bill, I paid it. I called again for the same leak a couple of weeks later because it had gotten really bad.

Billing opacity in 2 of 5 reviews: $120 labor charged for 30-min job quoted at $85/hr; drive time from shop billed at $95/hr adding ~$190 to a 40-min job

Just got robbed by these people. The service person was hardly at our place for 40 mins and yet we are charged 2 hrs of labor at $95/person/hr. I was told the labor hours are counted from the time they start from the shop and go back there after the work.

I don't understand how a 30 minute job at $85/hr translates to a $120 charge, but at the end of the day, the leak did get fixed. I'm not sure I'd use them again due to the lack of price transparency.

Bathtub hot water leak required 3 separate visits over multiple weeks and was still not fixed — customer refuses to pay second bill; issue was still running at time of review

The evidence — in reviewers' own words

Critical

I had a pin hole leak in a copper pipe. I called and asked for a quote ahead of time and they told me the price would be $85/hr + materials. Two men came to my house and fixed the leak in 30 minutes. I then received a bill in the mail for $120 labor, $5 trip charge, and ~ $30 materials. I don't understand how a 30 minute job at $85/hr translates to a $120 charge, but at the end of the day, the leak did get fixed. …

Called and asked for a site visit and quote on a fairly significant home remodel including some significant changes and upgrades. No show for the appointment. When I called to ask if and when they were coming they stumbled through the explanation and tried to provide a quote site unseen. And if I needed more precise I would need to make another appointment. No further contact by me as they clearly do not want my …

How this page is made. We read and synthesize published customer reviews from Google, Yelp and the BBB, then publish our honest opinion — including the negative reviews other directories bury. We do notcall, test, or inspect plumbers, and we don't check licenses unless a source is stated. Business facts come from the plumber's Google listing. Sponsored placement exists only on city list pages, is always labeled, and never changes an assessment or ranking — this profile is never pay-influenced. Every quote is reproduced verbatim from a public review and attributed; we choose which quotes to feature, and that selection is our editorial judgment.
