Thank you so much!!! Things always seem to happen at the worst time. Our daughter was getting married and we had a house full of company coming. Your staff was amazing and very professional, they got our water heater changed out the same day! We really didn’t want anyone taking a cold shower. The wedding was beautiful, no cold showers or cold feet. Thank you again!!!

We recently had a pump installed on a drilled well for our farm. Armour Plumbing's team was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous on what we needed. We are extremely pleased with their work, and will definitely be using them for future projects!

Jason and Kevin were outstanding! Could not have asked for better service . I highly recommend this company. Wish I could give this company 10 stars. They came out on Monday to try to restart my 20 year old tankless water heater and came today to replace it. They are stars in their field. I finally got a shower and am extremely grateful. Love you guys!

They have raised their prices three times this year with a two hour min. for a service that takes only 30 minutes. Price hike of 25% in 6 months, ridiculous.

I'm not happy with the wiring that was done and left outside of the breaker box. 3 trips over $1000 in charges and still no water

I gave armour plumbing 1 star because the job was completed in a timely manner and did not leak, although after 7 or 8 days later it did not drain either. I took 4 stars away for the following reasons. Work was not completed as agreed upon. Our kitchen sink is located about 10 ft from the water heater. During the initial consultation, the plumber said they could "T" off the hot water line and run one pipe directly to the kitchen sink so we would have almost instant hot water. When the plumbing was being installed, I reminded the lead plumber about "T-ing" off the hot water and running a line to the kitchen. He assured me it was in the plans. After the work was finished, we discovered it took 50-60 seconds to get hot water in the kitchen. When I called Armour to ask about the problem, they told me the hot water line ran to a manifold towards the middle of our house about 15 feet away and it would not have helped to run a line directly to the kitchen. The manifold is about 25 ft from the water heater and the hot water has to travel about 60 ft to reach the kitchen. If they had done the work as agreed on, we would have hot water in 9-10 seconds and not 50-60 seconds. Poor quality work. About 7-8 days after the installation our drain pipes completely clogged up and water over flowed from the clothes washer discharge pipe. We called Armour and they sent a man to clear the pipe 2 days later. He said the original plumbers probably left some debris in the pipe which caused the clog. They charged $135 to come out to fix their own shoddy workmanship. NO guarantee for their work, No offer of a price discount, NO apology. Poor invoice management. Armour charges $55 to come to your house to evaluate the situation and give a cost estimate which we paid after the initial visit. After paying for the plumbing work, we realized they did not credit us the $55 already paid. I called Armour and was told they would send us a check. We did not receive a check and called again. This time we were told the $55 had been conducted from the invoice. The invoice does not list any credit for previous payments. The $55 plus the $135 for fixing their own original shoddy work are just bonus payments we get to donate to Armour. When they installed the new plumbing under the kitchen sink, they drilled new holes through the bottom of the cabinet and through the floor (I don't know what was wrong with the original holes). We lost some storage space because they put the new holes 2-3 inches towards the front of the cabinet. In addition they didn't bother to patch or fill the old holes, so now we have nice little highways from our crawl space to how kitchen for any critters that manage to get under our house (think mice or snakes). We called Armour plumbing and asked to speak with the owner or manager to discuss these problems before writing a review. Nobody bothered to call us back.

I serve as a property manager for several Athens locations, and when I started the job, Armour was our preferred vendor. In the past eight months, we've used (or attempted to use) Armour three times with varying results: 1) First service call: Scheduled for a washing machine repair on April 1. Service person called me at 8:00 AM in an attempt to re-schedule a 1:30 PM appointment that had already been confirmed with the tenants for that day. On being told that that was not acceptable, he grudgingly agreed to show up at the agreed-upon appointment time. He was, however, unable to fix the problem with the washer and instead suggested we contact an appliance repair shop. The invoice was not sent to the correct address despite Armour being informed of that address multiple times. 2) Second service call: Scheduled for a leaky faucet at the end of May. Because these tenants are on a tight schedule (and because of the difficulty we experienced scheduling the first service call), I had the tenant, Ms. Doe, set up the service call herself. This call went fine. 3) Third service call: Same address, water heater problem, attempted to schedule on August 5th. Again, the tenant (Ms. Doe) made the call. I received an email from her stating that A) Armour would not schedule a call without speaking to the owner or landlord (obviously not the case based on the last call) and B) that the woman she spoke with was very rude to her. Obviously, this is not acceptable. Because I understand that information can sometimes get garbled and mistakes can be made, I contacted Armour via email on August 5th, explained the issues and my dissatisfaction with my overall experiences (last minute attempt to reschedule, incorrect billing, inability to fix the problem, inconsistency in allowing tenants to schedule their own service calls, disrespectful treatment of tenant) and offered them an opportunity to address these issues and/or explain what happened. I have received no response. So, out of three service calls, one was handled to my satisfaction. I'm inclined to provide a one-star review, but I'll leave it at two until I hear back from Armour. At this point I definitely cannot recommend the company. Edit: After two weeks with no response from Armour, I am revising my review down to one star. A company that performs poorly and doesn't even respond when given the opportunity doesn't deserve anyone's business.

So this is actually not about their work, tho I’m sure it’s exceptional given the kind of men with the company. I’m a nightshift bartender and parked my car on the streets of downtown last night for work, it wouldn’t start when I was leaving. I came back around 8:30am this morning with my sister and her boyfriend trying to jump it off. It was freezing cold out, we had been trying for about 20 minutes to no avail. Then a man walked up and offered to help, I actually didn’t ask his name but he had on the company jacket with the name Chandler on it. This angel of a man stood outside with us in the freezing cold for damn near two hours and tried everything he could to get my car to start. I’m sure he was determined to not give up at all until I said I was gonna just have it towed somewhere. He even was concerned with how much my insurance might charge me for that and gave us a number to someone else who might be cheaper. I have no other way to thank him, but I’m glad I saw his name and the company he works for to be able to at least formally give him some type of recognition. When I thanked him he said, “of course you know people just don’t do this anymore we gotta help each other” or something along those lines, and he was right. So many people had passed by and I was already thinking to myself that we were on our own cause nobody wants to stand out in the cold early in the morning to help a stranger. But chandler did knowing it didn’t benefit him in any way and I’m just so grateful people like him still exist! My car is still messed up but my faith in humanity is restored because of him. Life is tough and even I am guilty in getting so wrapped up in my own problems that I feel I don’t have the capacity to help someone else. That man is an ANGEL who genuinely cares about other people and I hope he gets all the blessings he deserves!

Jason at Armour Plumbing came out to my place in Winterville last Friday and was just wonderful!! I had been having trouble with my water pump and was afraid I would need a new one. When he tested the power to the pump he found it wasn't getting enough power. He troubleshot it all the way back to the main breaker box outside my house. He also repaired the loose drain pipes under my house and the bill wasn't nearly as much as I had feared. After having an electrician replace the breaker the pump worked fine. Thank you, Jason, for being honest and helping me out. I highly recommend this company and will use them again!

Called to have them replace a sink drain in two bathrooms that had incorrect drains installed initially and were draining slowly. They replaced the drains but had to come back out twice because one of the new drains kept leaking. We then called them back and forth several times because we had a home warranty policy that needed invoice and work info in order for us to be reimbursed, but they were rude, unhelpful, and unwilling to cooperate in a timely manner, so we ended up not being covered. Only two stars because we do have working drains now and the first plumber was a nice guy and professional.

I've used this company for plumbing and septic service ever since we moved into the house thirty some years ago. A couple of years ago they replaced the service line coming to the house from the meter at the road at a very reasonable price. But as of the other day they've seen the last dollar they're gonna get from me. They charged me $650 to pump my septic tank. That was 200 plus dollars more than what they did it for 2 years ago and $200 more than most of the competition. So bye bye armour and rapid rooter. My advice shop around before you call these guys.

I've had a continual problem at one of my properties and needed to get some expert help. I called Armour Plumbing and they scheduled my appointment for the same day. When they came out they quickly identified the problem and were very good in explaining it and what caused it. They then fixed it; again explaining what they were doing. Another added benefit was that I didn't have to pay for it right then and there. They mailed me a statement clearly explaining the charges. Armour Plumbing is the best!!!

Backed up pipe to septic… next day availability while others were 3 MONTHS OUT …Kim in the office was calm while I was not and explained everything - a great resource… Keith stood in the rain and diagnosed the problem and saved me money by letting me know it was not a full tank but a clogged drain! Just 2 hours later Jacob arrived and roto rootered in the HOT sun and fixed the clog! So professional and kept me informed as it unfolded. Hire this team … I’m going back.

Armour stepped up twice for me in an emergency with quick help and great service. The first time, my hot water tank began leaking, and my plumbing company of 25 years said "we will be there in 2 weeks." Armour, new to me, came that day. Recently, I had a pipe break, flooding my home while I was gone. My neighbor called, I called Armour, and they were onsite in 1 hour, fixed the leak, and found the problem. They are great!!

Fantastic experience for a less that desirable job. Technician arrived on time, quickly located my septic tank, uncovered and went to pumping. Pricing is in line or lower than other providers in the market. I also received a statement verifying the condition of my septic system for use in the sale of my house for a few extra dollars. Great overall job and will use again.
