Had an issue with my unit and they came right out, blessed us to be back running same day. Justin was quick and helpful to our family. Highly recommend and will use in the future

Professional, honest, and efficient. We couldn’t be happier with their work! They took time to find answers to all of the problems we were having due to another company’s improper installation. They had everything fixed the next day. The communication was excellent from start to finish and everyone was extremely nice! We would absolutely recommend Alco to anyone needing HVAC work.

Danny from Alco came out yesterday to perform our semi annual HVAC maintenance. He did a great job! He is courteous, knowledgeable and professional. He found a few items we need to address over the next few months to prepare for this summer’s heat. He carefully explained what repairs need to be done showed us where these problems existed. He also gave us a couple of options for moving forward. The estimates were thoroughly explained. We feel more than comfortable with his recommendations.

The last three times I got an ALCO estimate to do work, I got a second opinion. EVERY TIME, the second opinion I got told me the problem was much less $$$ than what ALCO recommended. I went with the second opinion (different companies) every time. TOTAL SAVINGS BY NOT GOING WITH ALCO: $14,000. It seems that ever since this company's merger or acquisition with McWilliams went through, along with a name-change, -- and then they changed their name back to ALCO again -- they give super-expensive estimates. The final straw for me came after ALCO serviced our AC. Shortly after, all the coolant drained out of the unit. I called someone else, and the new guy showed me that a bottle cap had been used to plug up the AC unit. So I called ALCO -- and it took them 3 weeks to get back with me -- and they said I couldn't prove it was their fault. That's it. I'm not using ALCO.

Rats had destroyed our ducts, so Alco came out and replaced them and the vents, and added a new one in an unvented bathroom. Overall, they were pretty professional and efficient, but there were a couple of annoying things: - The workers left multiple dirty work shirts laying around on my property. - The workers used my rented dumpster to dump everything, which was fine, but had I not had it, would they have left the debris in my yard? They had no way of hauling anything away. - The vents installed were mostly done horribly, leaving holes, scratches, debris and messy looks afterwards. - We had to clean up a lot ourselves because a mess was left under vents and in the yard. I appreciate their hard work, but for $11k, I expected not to have to patch vents myself, be in charge of removing debris and having to pick up dirty clothes. Pretty unprofessional of Alco, and I would only recommend them if you tell them upfront that's not acceptable.
