AHS/TOPTEC Plumbing & Sewer Repair

I just moved into a new house and called Dan at AHS Plumbing twice for two separate plumbing emergencies within our first week! First up was a sewer line clog. Dan arrived quickly, cleared the clog and offered recommendations to avoid future problems. Call #2 was at 4am during a heavy rain storm as my old sump pump and the battery backup were failing to keep up with the rain. Dan answered the phone on the first try, and after I explained the problem, he was at my house in 40 mins.! We ended up replacing two sump pumps and battery backup systems for a very fair price, especially considering it was all done same day. Is AHS Plumbing cheap? No, but you get what you pay for. Done right quickly and the first time. No BS add-on charges. Very skilled and professional service. Incredibly responsive. Dan earned my trust and will be my “go to” plumber for all future needs.

I had a plumbing issue in my kitchen last night and called at 5:30 pm. By 8am this morning, Dan was at my door! He had booties to walk through the house, offered thorough explanations and practical advice, and fixed the problem in about an hour. He also checked out the pipes in my basement to make sure that everything was in proper order there, explaining what had completely mystified me about our plumbing. Thank you so much, Dan! I hope I won't have to call again, but I definitely will go with AHS if I do experience more issues in the future!

Dan did an amazing job installing shutoff valves for my homes existing outdoor hydrants. He also installed one for me in my garage. He was on-time, courteous and very helpful. I highly recommend Dan to anyone with any type of plumbing repair or installation!

Dan and his partner worked on changing Several faucets and even came back to my house few days later when our laundry machine backed up with water. They did a great job in all the work they did. I had alot of questions about our plumbing and he answered all of them without being annoyed by all my questions. I trust them when it comes to doing plumbing around my home and am grateful for the work they did. They are honest, do quality work and are affordable, my husband and I are so glad we had them fix our plumbing issues!

To say that Dan at AHS Plumbing is a superhero doesn’t reflect the magnitude of how outstanding he is. We called Dan in an emergency situation - out sewage pipe sheared away from foundation. We had major backup with raw sewage leaking onto our foundation. Dan answered our call and drove right over to talk to us. He was calm, knowledgeable, friendly, and reassuring. He quoted us half of what local plumbers and bigger companies (Roto-Rooter) were wanting to charge. He fixed our issue and brought the plumbing up to code. Turns out, it’s a very common problem in the Mundelein area, so Dan knew what to do...he’s done it, literally, a hundred times, in this area. We were so lucky to have called him. Not only was he extremely efficient with this job, he took the time to explain everything he and his team was doing. We felt that communication was totally transparent and honest.
