I have a very good experience with this company. I called for a pipe leak in my backyard and got a response almost immediately. Eric came as promised and gave me an estimate right there and then. He is very courteous and professional. The job was done properly and promptly. I’m very happy with the completed work and would definitely use them again in the future.

These guys are legit. Jeff and Eric are awesome. They came same day and were the cheapest out of everyone I called. They replaced the cold and hot valves for my washer. It was quick and great service. I highly would and will recommend them to anybody

Jeff at A1 Plumbing was amazing! He fixed a broken water pipe under our home quickly, explained everything clearly, and charged a very fair price. I cannot recommend him highly enough — he diagnosed the issue right away and repaired it with professionalism and care. Not only was he incredibly skilled and thorough, but he also took the time to explain everything in a way we could easily understand, which gave us so much peace of mind. Don't know what kind of work they do. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. I never forced them to schedule me on that day they said they will come, on the time they said they will come. NOT EVEN A PHONE CALL OR TEXT. Ten minutes after my appointment, I called and chris answered telling me a tech should be there. What tech? I decided to just hang up since he is so garbled anyway and I can barely understand what he's saying. He called back and had the gall to ask me with an attitude "SO, DO YOU STILL WANT US TO COME OVER OR ARE WE CALLING IT OFF?" Excuse me?!?! No show, no call and you have the F gall to give a customer an attitude? The customer you stood up...the customer whose time got wasted?

Horrible first impression. Asked Chris for a quote to have electrical installed in ceiling for fan and light installation. Didn't manage to show up within the window he gave. Then said he would email me with an estimate and it's been 7 days now and still nothing. Called him on day 4 with a status and he said he would get it to me that night and he never did. Don't bother calling them for smaller jobs; Chris I'm taking my business to somebody that has time for me.

Called A&R from a family recommendation because my sewer was backing up. Usually this would be a seriously scary problem but they came out pretty immediately even though I had one urgent scheduling issue! They worked around it so the problem could be addressed. Josh was sent out and he was the kindest professional explaining all the issues with an abundance of patience. He cleared the clog and offered for me to watch the video scoping of the pipe (which costs extra and I requested). There ended up being 2 breaks in the sewer line. Man he was patient! He marked the yard where the break was and walked me through all the options. Made sure I had pictures from the video of the breaks so I could make a decision after a review of the options. Reset the toilet and was out pretty efficiently. He also cleared out his large tools between pieces of the job which I appreciated. I didn't do any price comparisons but everything was completely reasonable. Based on the time it took to ensure an expert was taking care of things properly. Would highly recommend this company, my family had a different plumber from the same business - they had the same efficient, thoughtful resolution.

It's a Monday & you come home from the 5 AM gym session ready to take a nice hot shower when it goes COLD in all caps. That's what happened today!! The misses toughed it out but I was unable to take the cold. Called PGE for an "open all day appt" and used extra cologne and hit the office. PGE came around noon and said "thing is toast, call a plumber or contractor" and left. I reached out to my Gf and her network and was referred to Mr Pipes Plumbing from family. The receptionist / scheduler was super sweet and had me take pics of the water heater so she could forward them to Chris, the technician. Got the time window: 4-7 pm. He was here by 5:30 and within an hour had my pilot light back on and the parts replaced without having to drop 2K on a new unit, install, and haul away. He was quick, to the point, and fairly priced. We are having him return to put in a sensor that will prevent a huge catastrophic leak once this heater goes bite the dust. It's got 14 years already so let's just hope it's hanging on for a couple more. Thanks again!

Highly Recommend - Truly Reliable & Trustworthy Chris, Kevin, and Moira are an outstanding team. I can't say enough good things about Mr. Pipes. They have shown up for my family during some of the most critical moments: -The day I came home from the hospital after giving birth -- Chris came out on a weekend. -When tenants were moving into our rental property -- again, they answered the call on a weekend. -And today, on New Year's Eve, they're helping us with yet another issue. The work they've done for us includes: -Clearing common clogs -Installing a new tankless water heater -Running a water line to our fridge -Fixing odd draining issues with our washing machine -Helping during home inspections Their pricing is always fair, their communication is excellent, and I've always felt safe as a pregnant woman and now a mom while their team is in my home -- which means a lot. New year, new......plumbing problems?? Welp, leaky faucet became a weeping one so I had to get some plumbing assistance. After receiving a certain quote from Bell Brothers (I already get routine heating/AC system checkups from that company so thought I'd ask for a quote), I decided to consider other options in the area. Saw a promo ad by this plumbing business on a mailing flyer and the total cost was more than 3x less than what Bell Brothers stated. The repairer was really friendly and informative. Timely fix too! Docked a star because of a scheduling issue. Called the business after the time window of when the repairer should've arrived had passed, but turned out that the appointment was scheduled on a different date than what was informed to me. Fortunately it ended up not being a huge deal for me, but definitely triple check with the scheduler on the correct date and time window if you choose to go with this business.

Josh arrived within the time frame as scheduled. We had a leaky bathroom sink faucet, upon arrival he accessed the issue & went to work. Josh was very professional & kind, not only did he replaced the water faucet & water supply hoses but also tighten the screws for the toilet lid no charge & asked to remove a part from the original estimate as it didn't need replacement. Saved us a couple of dollars with the new customer discount & the revised final bill. Thank you Josh Wright & Mr. Pipes Plumbing and Rooter, I appreciate your service in a timely manner especially when Moira was able to schedule our appointment due to a cancellation. For the second time in 8 days I had an issue that required a plumber, and for the second time in 8 days I'm here to give Mr. Pipes a 5 star review. This time, my garbage disposal developed a leak. I was definitely overdue for a new one. I called Mr. Pipes and asked if Kevin could come back as he'd done such a great job just the week before replacing my kitchen faucet. Fortunately, he was available and they were able to send him out the same day. At the time I called, I wasn't sure what was causing the leak, but I knew he'd be able to fix it. He quickly identified the problem. I asked him if he needed to run to the hardware store to buy a new disposal, but he told me he had one in his van. Fantastic! Within 20-25 minutes he had it installed and working perfectly. The cherry on top was that it did not cost an arm and a leg. Very reasonable price. Thanks again guys!!!

I have been having issues with my dishwasher draining properly for about a year and a half. I've had 3 different plumbers come out and all did very minimal work and basically took a brush and ran it down the drain and "brushed the line clean". When A&R came to my home the took the entire thing apart (which I had never witnessed any of the other plumbers do) and saw that the line was completely clogged. So basically the other plumbers were putting bandaids on the problem instead of fixing the problem which is why they would come back every 3 months or so. A&R also ran the dishwasher cycle 2 times to make sure it was draining properly (again not something I had witnessed other plumbers do) and everything is running perfectly!!!! Great work and professionalism. I would recommend A&R 1000% and would give 10 stars if allowed. I am a very pleased customer.

Can you imagine New Year's Eve and a flooded toilet? With visitors coming in from the Bay Area to stay overnight? This is the plumbing service of choice that my landlord has used for years for the 200 properties they manage and I had saved their number from a previous service call. My landlord was out partying ... who can blame him ... so I gave them a call. They had someone out to the house within 3 hours. A second piece of equipment was needed and the new guy arrives within minutes. I left for my own evening of fun with the A & R team hard at work at my place. They called the city for additional work needed (and they came out on New Year's Day!) Suffice to say, don't know what I would have done without Moira's exceptional customer care, and Chris' and Kevin's professional services. Thank you!!!!

My realtor recommended A&R to me for replacing an old tired leaky water heater, and I'm glad he did. He mentioned that his usual handyman might perform the work at a lower price, but I said I'd rather have a real professional like A&R do it-- and I'm REALLY glad I did! I might have imagined that one heater goes out, the other slides in, insert plug: done-- but not this one! This was a 1926 house, funky dirt-floor basement: not a straightforward job. Kevin worked on it for two solid days, suiting all the connections to a uniquely complicated location. He was hardworking, knowledgeable, creative, and communicative. He took time to explain to me how the new equipment would work well and safely. When I expressed a specific concern, he immediately addressed it. Great work, great work ethic.

I love A & R Plumbing. I called them on a Saturday, and Chris gave us an estimate based on photos and got us scheduled for Monday. We needed to have a 90 degree elbow installed to replace our existing straight gas line. They called and confirmed with us prior to the appointment. Our plumber, Kevin, called when he was on his way over and arrived on time, which was actually 30 minutes earlier than expected. They were half of the price of the of other quotes we received and even though there was some extra work because our gas valve was so old we were only charged for the additional parts. I would highly recommend A & R Plumbing and will definitely use them in future.
