Josh and Quinton (I think Quinton is the right name) came out when our water heater stopped heating water. Not only did they confirm through diagnostics but they explained and showed us what was happening inside the water lines that we were oblivious to. They worked with us on finding a solution and implementing that solution as fast as possible. They pulled strings to help restore our hot water as fast as possible even when dealing with red tape and corporate disconnect. They gave us Good - Better and Best options without any pressure. Their professionalism and strong work ethic have made them our first choice when plumbing needs attention.

I had a plumbing issue that couldn’t wait, and I’m really glad I called 1-Tom- Plumber. They answered right away and Josh came out the same day, which was a huge relief. Josh showed up on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, and explained exactly what needed to be done before starting any work. The repair was handled efficiently and professionally, and everything was cleaned up before they left. The quality of the work was excellent, and the issue was fully resolved on the first visit. Fast, reliable, and clearly experienced—I’d definitely use them again and highly recommend their services.

I had a busted pipe under my trailer during the bitter cold that swept through the nation. Daniel came and looked under my trailer to give me a quote. While he was fixing it he always had a smile on his face and got the job done quickly! Highly recommend!!

Josh and Daniel were great! We are in the middle of a bathroom remodel and hired out the plumbing to 1-Tom. We received several bids for the work but 1-Tom rose above the others. These guys showed up early, were very polite, professional, and were the only ones wearing boot covers. They even cleaned up after themselves which I’ve found to be rare. On top of that, and a huge win for me, they made my wife feel heard and safe when they came to give an estimate which did not take long. Communication was outstanding from the very beginning to day of and to finish. It’s the little things that make a big difference to us. They did a great job with the work that we needed and then some.

We had a frozen water line issue at our manufactured home in Ames during one of the coldest stretches Iowa has seen, and 1 Tom Plumber was able to get our water restored at a fair price. Elizabeth and Kaitlyn in Dispatch/on-call customer service were personable, empathetic, and efficient. Justin was professional and pragmatic on the business side, and both technicians, Quinton and Tomas, were respectful, diligent, and easy to work with. Despite an unplanned follow-up visit, their team stayed with it until the job was done and made it right. If needed, we would definitely call on their services again.
