Had a plumbing emergency that went unanswered. Called multiple times, was told id be contacted by “matt” and never heard anything back. Im convinced all of these positive reviews are fakes.

Matt showed up over an hour late and was hammered drunk or high or both. Glassy eyed and couldn’t figure out how to park his van. I cleared room for him in front of our building and he over shot our parking spots to block the entrance of then business next door. When we asked him to reverse back into my businesses spots he got out of the van to argue with a beer in his hand. I sent him home and called a different company.

I'm a repeat customer of Zippy Plumber and I have to agree with others here in saying that Matt is one of the most helpful, courteous, knowledgeable, responsive and professional service providers that I have ever had the pleasure to work with. A few years ago, Matt and his crew did a wonderful job of fixing a hole that had rusted out, over time, in my 56-year-old cast-iron drain line in my basement. He replaced a portion of my basement drain line with the modern recommended materials, and also did some needed work on my kitchen sink. His fees were very reasonable, and he and his crew completed all of the work quickly and professionally. Most recently, this winter, I called Zippy Plumber after discovering that my downstairs toilet was leaking water onto the floor every time I washed dishes in my kitchen sink. Matt sent out a colleague (also a master plumber) within a few hours of me calling him, to assess my problem. He found that my 56-year-old cast-iron exterior sewer line had collapsed about 2/3rds of the way toward the street. He explained his findings, provided a very reasonable estimate, mentioned that my homeowners insurance might cover this kind of damage, and offered to fix the damage the very next day. I agreed. The very next day, on a Sunday, with snow still on the ground, Matt and his crew dug an amazingly deep trench, and replaced the entire line, from inside my basement, all the way to the street. The entire job was completed to my complete satisfaction within less than a day and a half of me contacting Matt. The whole crew was polite, friendly, and very professional. All in all, I highly recommend Matt and Zippy Plumbing for all your emergency plumbing needs. His knowledge, responsiveness, expertise, and integrity are superlative. Matt from Zippy Plumber did an absolutely fantastic job with my recent sewer camera and locate inspection, and the repairs that followed. From start to finish, his communication was excellent. He took the time to explain exactly what was happening and why, which really helped me understand the condition of the drain lines. One of the best parts of the service was that Matt sent videos and pictures of the process as he worked. Seeing the actual footage of the pipe corrosion and the root infiltration at the sewer tap made the findings much clearer, and seeing the repairs footage was super cool! Matt completed the following extensive repairs: He excavated and replaced a cleanout where the pipe was missing its bottom and heavily infiltrated by roots. He successfully removed a tree stump that was located directly on top of a pipe. Matt reconditioned the 4" cast iron main sewer line and used a hydro jet to clear out all debris. He installed a new 4" cleanout to ensure easier access for future maintenance. Matt even deducted the cost of the initial camera inspection from the total repair bill. Matt was professional, thorough, and made a stressful situation much easier to navigate. If you need a plumber who is transparent, skilled, and easy to work with, I highly recommend Zippy Plumber!

i live in Brookhaven and had a major sewer line backup that caused sewage to overflow from my toilet. I called Zippy Plumber, and they responded quickly. They performed hydro jetting and a camera inspection to locate the problem. It turned out I needed a slab leak repair on the drain line under the concrete foundation. Zippy Plumber handled the sewer line repair efficiently and also installed sewer cleanouts in front of the house for future maintenance. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for a reliable Brookhaven plumber!

Wow…Luckily we called Zippy at first sign of sewer backup. Tree roots got into the line Matt responded quickly, utilized his camera system, temporarily opened the clog. Then the real work….we are on a tight space so they took out the tree on top our sewer line, utilized hydro jet and replaced the pipe. Matt planted a new tree, replanted shrubs, and cleaned up. You would never know they were there. They are professional and keep you informed start to finish. Highly recommended.

We had an outstanding experience with Matt from Zippy Plumber today. There was an emergency water issue outside of our home, and Matt responded immediately and was here to do an assessment within 2 hours. He was timely, courteous, explained the situation well, and was clearly very knowledgeable and technically skilled -- and most importantly set our minds at ease. Unfortunately he doed not do the work I needed BUT he listened to my problem and was able to give me a great suggestion that was extremely more cost effective and would most likely be exactly what I needed.
