Ty- from Young Plumbing- did an excellent job fixing my water pipe and sink today-1/31/2026! He was professional, kind, and worked with accurate and incredible efficiency with his work! I definitely recommend them and him! He definitely desires a raise!

Our hot water heater went out on the weekend. Called and spoke to Michelle who was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Sebastian came Sunday morning to replace the hot water heater. Sebastian did a fantastic job! Will definitely call again if we run into any plumbing issues.

We had a clogged tub and sink. The plumbers were to be here between 9-11. Got a call they would be here by 8:40. (BONUS) Tom and Joe arrived, quickly diagnosed the problem and cleared the drain within 30 minutes. They were very professional and respectful of our home. They also gave helpful advice to keep the drains clear in the future. It was also noticed that I have a veteran license plate and was given a veteran discount. I truly appreciated that. Tom and Joe, job well done. Thank you.

Should be 0 stars. I just moved into my new home and experienced a major leak under my kitchen sink that was leaking down to my basement. Young sent 2 incompetent techs to my home that recommended cutting a small hole 3”6” inches in my basement ceiling to visualize where the leak was coming from. They cut the hole then informed me that they don’t have water leak detection equipment. I was left with a $350 bill and a larger hole than they quoted at 16”8”. Do not waste your time or money with this company.

The receptionist was very rude and cold towards my call.

Purchased a house late last year with a negative sewer scope as part of the home inspection and no disclosures on sewer or plumbing dysfunction from the sellers. We experienced water in the laundry room 3 times within the first few months of living there before realizing the sewer was backing up through the floor drain. Called Young Plumbing to diagnosis it. They determined the main sewer line was clogged and needed to be routed. They cleared the blockage but could not find the reason as to why it occurred. I naturally had some questions, given no cause was found, no issues were disclosed, and a negative sewer scope was performed only a few months ago. I was also curious as to what ways I could manage this to ensure it would not happen again. I was met with shrugs, confusion, “hard to say”s, and “not sure”s from the Young plumbers. Well a few short months later there is more water in the laundry room as ever. I attempted to allow Young plumbing to rectify any missteps, to which I was simply greeted with “our warranty is 30 days so any further service would be new and fully charged.” I went through a new plumbing company, who successfully routed the line and was able to find the tree root occlusion causing these backups. They not only found the reason for my issue, but also offered solutions and answered all my questions, including helping me to prepare for potential litigation with the home inspection who deemed my sewer clear and the sellers who did not disclose a surely know issue. Had I continued with Young Plumbing, who knows how much more money I’d be out and how much more damage my new home may have been subjected to. To show how much I would not recommend their services, the Young plumbers could not correctly tell me the sewer line ran to my front yard, instead telling me it went out the back… Writing this review to save someone else’s time and money. Learn from my mistake. Find someone else.

We have lived in the same home we built over 45 years ago. During that time I've experienced a number of sewer line blockages. These issues, however, were always solved with the plumbing tools at my disposal (and a little sweat!) thus we have never had the need for contracted plumbing repair services. Four days ago I met my match and realized we needed profession help with far better equipment and the proper expertise to handle it. I reached out to four plumbing firms and Young Plumbing was the first to respond. A Young Plumbing representative was contacted in the early morning and arrangements were made for a technician to come to in the early afternoon-a great relief! We were even more pleased when we received a call that a technician, Sebastian, would arrive even earlier at 10 A. After reviewing the situation, and the site conditions, Sebastian gave a comprehensive overview of the repair proposal. After an approval was given for the repair this technician proceeded with dispatch to successfully clear the blockage and return our bathrooms to service. Before I retired I was the Director of Engineering at a local medical center. I have crossed paths with many tradesmen and some could be pretty rough around the edges! Therefore, I must complement Sebastian not only for his polished professionalism and technical skills but the fact he was a very interesting fellow and a delight to talk to. I would highly recommend Young Plumbing. Hopefully we will not have any repeat issues in the future but if we do I'll be calling Young

***Revising review for another WOW! James and Tyler came out today, Oct 18, 2025, on a Saturday, to fix my mom's leaky tub! Job completed and she got to use her $50 off coupon! Great job guys! Thank you! Call Young for all your Plumbing needs! *** WOW!!! Visiting from out of town and my mom ended up with a kitchen and bathroom sink clog on the weekend (old pipes in the house). Called and left a message for a plumber she had used before....We are still waiting for a return call -_-. Looked up local plumbers on Monday, found Young Plumbing. From speaking to Laura on the phone, her friendly, helpful self, I knew we made the right choice. We got a same day appointment, they even came before stated time. Unclogged the drain, BOOM, done. Very reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the tub clogged the next day :(. BUT, we called Young plumbing to come back. They came, cleared the clog AND at no charge!! 5 STARS *****!!! My mom (Brenda) has found her new plumbers and they are available on weekends! BONUS!! Thank you Young Plumbing!

Justin and Tanner provided phenomenal service, they went above and beyond on multiple occasions for both emergency situations and regular maintenance. We rent, and often we feel like we aren’t included or informed when the property management company books contractors to complete repairs. We have never had this experience with Young. We receive a phone call when the workers are on their way, and when they have arrived. They have always arrived within the window schedules. All communication with Young has been great, but communication with Justin and Tanner was exceptional. They were clear about what work was being done, so kind and understanding, and transparent with the entire process. Highly recommend.

We recently notice the smell of gas in the house and called NIPSCO. They came out and found multiple sources of the leak and shut the gas off at the meter. We were told to contact a plumber to test the gas line. Having used Young Plumbing before, we called and they were able to come the same day. It turned out that multiple pipes needed to be replaced. James and Jesse made sure the pipe to the furnace was fixed that night so that we cold have heat as the temperature was to be in the 40s. We scheduled them to come back and James and Tyler did a fantastic job replacing the remaining pipes and made sure everything was in working order. Young will be our "go to" plumbers from now on.

Hate to be the a one star reviewer. But two sharkbites for 740 is not fair. Take this as free money because I didn't have the time but absolutely a ripoff. Took 15 minutes and threatened with il leave for 95 $ I already located the problem it was one pipe direct instructions. I asked for pipe replacement and got sharkbites. Im paying for a problem I didnt buy the tools for. 400 - 500 is even crazy for two sharkbites in any situation is crazy yes it was in a hard to reach place yes it took you guys 30 minutes. Will never go through you guys again enjoy that money.

Very pleased with their service. Needed to replace my entire 73 year old sewer pipe. Not only did they have a quote which was extremely reasonable and fair, but they replaced over 100’ of pipe in a single day; backfilled and all. I am extremely impressed with the professionalism and efficiency provided by young plumbing. Everybody had a positive attitude and worked safely. Hands down will be contacting them again for any and all plumbing needs or repairs in the future.

I have used Young Plumbing over the years for routine sewer cleaning. However, the main line under my house was failing and the others were old and needed replacing so I once again used Young Plumbing and was not disappointed. Seba and Joe did a great job replacing the old cast iron pipes. Now I don't have to worry about a mess in my crawl space from the old cracked pipe if the main line gets blocked with tree roots. Thanks much!

Justin and Tanner did an excellent job repairing and replacing old parts for one of our toilets. Justin has been here before and I recommend him for all your plumbing needs. Tanner was very professional and joined Justin in completing the job in record time. They left the area clean and treated our home with respect. I hope Young managers and owners recognize these two professionals for a job that exceeded our expectations!

Recently had an issue with water in my crawl space and called Young Plumbing. They sent out Justin and Tanner to look at the issue. They were both courteous, knowledgeable and professional and set out minds at ease upon completion. Definitely a great experience from the initial phone call until job was complete. I would highly recommend Young Plumbing if you want a good experience in a bad situation.
