Yogi's Plumbing & Drain Service

My go to plumber retired and I've had trouble replacing him until now. Yogis did a fantastic job on a sink I've had other plumbers charge me quite a bit to fix unsuccessfully. Aaron was very transparent about the work he was doing and did great job at a fair price.

I had just completed an extensive tenant improvement of an OSHPD3 certified medical and dental clinic in Kearny Mesa with Justin Shane and the Yogis Plumbing crew. Now it was time for the important project…changing out a couple of aged faucets at my North County home. I moved into this house almost a decade ago. The remodel, "for sale" job that was done to the house I purchased included some very low end faucets. Two of them reached in the point of corrosion that their metal bases at their connection were literally rotting away. Tim, who also worked on the clinic project recognized my name from my design plans, although we had not met. He was more than respectful, courteous, conscientious and efficient. Tim worked quickly and most significantly did not leave a mess behind. (Please note, not even on a commercial job site did Yogi leave a mess!) Since my wife and I are planning a kitchen remodel we did not go for a terribly extravagant faucet. BTW—Tim assured us the white grout you see in the image will be clear when it dries. However with the same thought in mind, after the installation of the en suite bathroom faucet, we may just reuse the one installed in the image. It looks pretty good. We highly recommend Justin and his crew, Yogi Plumbing and Drain Service. We intend to utilize their services on a million dollar home remodel/addition project, that we have under design in Solana Beach.

Yogi's office staff was quick to respond to our repair needs. They took thorough notes on our issues, and they and their plumbers were polite and attentive to resolving our problems. The plumbers work was done in a timely manner. They were respectful and quiet as they worked, and left everything neat and clean. Their work looks to be done well. Time will tell if it is, but we feel fairly confident in their work.

Update: Justin came by today to check the damage his technician caused in my bathroom. When confronting he immediately started to get very defensive, telling me that the damage was already there and that it is corrosion. We clean the drain every week and it was never like that and for fact did not look like that before his technician came. We are aware that underneath on the inside their was corrosion build up, but before his technician came the outside was clean and silver, now it looks like it has been dented and chewed up. They obviously don’t want or like to take responsibility. He tried claiming that the crack that the technician left from changing the bath tub spout was already there before and that it was hiding underneath the old spout. The old spout was the same size maybe a cm bigger and the crack left was between 1/2 to 1inch. When my son pointed that out he quickly changed his answer. You could tell with the way he responded that he was scared to take responsibility for what was caused by his technician. I had to have my handyman come this morning to properly fill the cracks. I will say that they are nice guys but be careful when you work with them they will not stand behind their work and take responsibility when damage has been caused. So far I did not have a good experience with yogi’s pluming they have not reached out to resolve the problem mean while we cannot use the shower until the overflow is put in right , the technician replaced my faucet and caused some damages a crack around the spout and the overflow has a gap at the top we are afraid water will sip trough and my drain was perfectly shiny before he come to fix my faucet and is now damaged all chewy up, when I ask the technician what he did to my drain he said he didn’t touched which he is clearly not taking responsibility for it. yogis claim they are not responsible for that because he come to do the faucet not the overflow and the drain. well I don’t understand why he removed the overflow and didn’t replace right leaving a gap at the top, I have photos of the faucet before was replaced but I don’t have the photo of the drain. Am very disappointed of their serviced they are really not standing by their work , I really hope they make this right. I Took this photo of my faucet before was fixed to take to Home Depot to see if I could find a match .Here is photos before and after we have paid $600 for this job it should be perfect.

This is the third time we’ve used Yogi’s. Eric and his partner did a fabulous job. Eric is very knowledgeable and explained all of the work that was required. The job was done professionally - with a fair price. We highly recommend Yogi’s for your plumbing needs.
