Called on a Friday evening and Chris was to my house in 30min. He immediately identified the issue and was able to fix it right away. He was kind, knowledgeable, cleaned up when he was done. He also identified a concern regarding a recent water heater installation (not by him), and took the time to write out exactly what the concern was so I could relay it to that company. He also let me know that if they did not cover it under warranty, he would be happy to come out and fix it. I appreciated his expertise.
TLDR; I am not a Wright customer but I WISH I was. Due to the current weather emergency they were not able to provide services I can pay for, but they helped me find someone knowledgeable and affordable who could. On Friday morning we discovered our pipes froze. We prepared for this possible outcome because it's an unprecedented cold spell and temps are not expected to rise above freezing for over a week, but it's never good to leave these things! I reached out to this company (and others) and I was able to work with Chris, who was extremely helpful and informative. He immediately let me know their thawing equipment is all already booked until next week but he offered to make time today to assess our situation to see what we might be dealing with. We ended up finding another company (Mammoth Plumbing) to come out and take a look so we updated Chris we didn't need his help today. Turns out Mammoth was quoting us $2,500 for ONLY thawing services which they estimated to take 6-8 hours. That is $315+ per hour! That seemed excessive as I'm from another state and we were never charged those kinds of prices. They also didn't provide an itemized estimate like we asked so we don't actually know all they were charging for. I called Chris and updated them on the situation. He said that his costs would be high too based on the information I could relay, but it wouldn't be as high and he wasn't available to actually perform services until Wednesday. But he said he would be over in 45 minutes to do that assessment himself and he recommended another local plumber (Hyatt) who he thought would do good work for a reasonable price. Hyatt's associate and Chris ended up showing to our house at the same time and Chris let Hyatt take over but he offered to assist the Hyatt associate if we needed any help! Hyatt quoted $125/hr labor for this service at our location. So even if it takes them 2x longer, I am far more comfortable with their services then Mammoth's. I cannot stress how important it was to have someone give me clear information and recommendations, especially as someone who is a new home owner in an unfamiliar area with no connections to rely on with these emergencies. I wasn't able to utilize Wright's services today but I would go back to them for assistance anytime. Thank you Chris.
I hired Wright Choice Plumbing to install a new tankless water heater for me. Chris the company owner came out quickly to do the estimate and I knew there and then he was the guy I wanted to hire. He was extremely knowledgeable and took extensive time to discuss and plan the job with me taking me through all the steps. On install day they arrived as scheduled and knocked out the install in impressive fashion. It was a large job but he got done in one day. I would highly recommend Wright Choice Plumbing for any of your plumbing needs and highly recommend them for a Water heater install. With the tankless heater we know have an unlimited hot water supply. Very satisfied customer.
Called them with a concern about a Water Softener that was installed in a house I rent out which was making noises and since I had just installed new hard wood floors I wanted an evaluation. Chris was honest and upfront with his evaluation of the old softener which was over 10 years old. Discussed a new softener and he made sure the recommended one would fit in the space before going forward. Outstanding installation and great instructions on how to use the new softener. Plus the 5% for being a Veteran was Nice. Would highly recommend Chris and his company for any and all plumbing issues or needs. Thanks for the professional service and installation. Bill
Chris was so nice and accommodating the entire time. He came by after business hours to examine my problem with my hot water heater. He told me he could be back the first thing the next morning to install the new heater and remove the old one. He called the next morning to assure me he was ready to work if I was ready. He came, worked and cleaned everything up. He was polite, courteous and never used an inappropriate word while working, which spoke volumes about his character. Thank you, Chris. I appreciate you and your work.
