We have a shallow well that requires special attention. Scott has taken care of us for years. We ran the well dry and like clockwork Watson’s and Scott saved the day!!! Thanks

Spectacular company who cares about their customers. Scott was out to service our water treatment system and I couldn't have asked for a better, more caring tech. I would recommend them without hesitation and will use them again in the future for certain. A+ customer service and outstanding service technicians! Update: I had to use them again for a leak and once again, Scott was top notch. I will continue to use them as needed, great company!

Watson’s has been my plumber since I built my house in 1980. They are reliable and trustworthy…a contractor with whom I’d feel comfortable in leaving a house key. They stand by their work which is always high quality. They honor appointments and scheduled times. I’ve tried other plumbers thinking it would be a good idea to have a fallback in case Watson’s was booked. My most recent “test case” was a complete disaster (although recommended by some folks who subscribe to Next Door). Norm Watson made sure my problem was resolved along with the anguish caused by this unscrupulous plumber at no cost to me for time or materials. I highly recommend Watson’s Plumbing.

Watson's replaced my hot water heater with a new one with a 10 year warrantee in 2006. It rusted and flooded my basement causing damage. When Watson's came out to repair they indicated the model was discontinued and needed to be replaced which was fine as the unit was under warrantee. Watson's proceeded to tell me that the unit was not under warrantee but would not return calls explaining why a 10 year warrantee had lapsed in 8.5 years. I called the manufacturer and found out that the "new" unit Watson's sold me in 2006 was 3 years old which is why it was out of warrantee. The manufacturer will work with me to remediate- I am still waiting for a call back from Watson's, however I went ahead and replaced the unit using another firm as I needed hot water especially with the Christmas holidays upon us.

I have had 2 experiences with Watson. Once to replace my water main (good) and another to replace my water heater (not so good). My water main had broke and required replacement. I called up Watson after waiting a week for another contractor to obtain a backhoe. Watson came out that night and gave me an estimate ($1800) to replace the main and told me the work could be completed the next day. Since Watson quoted me the same price and could get the work done faster, I got rid of the original contractor I hired and went with Watson. Watson came out early the next day to replace the water main, which required the front yard be dug up. It took them about 8-10 hrs (understandably) and at the end of the day we finally had water. The only issue we had was that since the work was done in the middle of winter the hole was backfilled with snow and the ground needed to settle before they could grade the yard. This took a little longer then I would of liked (about 2 months) and required us to purchase dirt but we finally had water and they did eventually came over to grade the yard. Overall I would rate this experience 4 stars My second experience was not nearly as good as the first. I recently needed my water heater replaced because it had started leaking. I called up Watson again since they had done well on the first project. They came out within a few hours and quoted me $1285 to replace the water heater. It was a bit higher then I had expected but since they could get the work done same day and they had done well on the first job i agreed. The tech went out to get the replacement water heater and completed the work in a little over an hour. I signed all the paperwork and he left. It was not until about 30 minutes later that I went downstairs to actually look at the water heater and noticed that during the install a very large amount of water had been spilled, I assume from draining the broken water heater. a little less then half of the floor of my basement was soaked (1/4+ inch of water in places). Although our basement is unfinished and nothing was damaged that I could see, I was not happy to have to clean up all the water that had been spilled on the floor after having paid $1285. It took us about 30 minutes to clean up the water and throw out and waterlogged boxes we had in the basement. overall i would rate this experience 2 stars. Would I recommend Watson for plumbing work? The answer is, it depends on what you need done and who comes out to do the work. At the end of the day i have not eliminated them from doing any plumbing work on my home but I will be shopping around more instead of going directly to them in the future.

I will give one star because Watson's was the only company available the next day after my well pump went up on a Friday night. I will say this is all my fault because I wanted running water for my family and didn't want to wait a few days. With that being said, this company definitely took advantage of my situation and I paid majorly to avoid inconvenience. I paid $6150 to have my constant pressure well pump system replaced. They did not replace the pressure tank by the way. I looked up the parts I had replaced and you can buy them for a little over $2000. So if you say $3000 (to account for a reasonable mark up) that means $3150 went to labor. When I asked for an itemized bill the technician said he couldn't give me one because there were other costs associated with the repair besides parts and labor. The examples he gave were his truck, overtime, and so forth. By the way, this repair took just two hours. And he had to replace the well pump wiring and could not bury the wire because an electrician normally does that. So we have to dig a trench and bury the wire ourselves so that we don't have to wait for an electrician to come to do it and so that we can have water today. He left with the wire going through a window in the garage and laying in the yard. Bottomline, I paid $6150 for two hours of labor, $3000 in parts, and other costs associated with running their business. And we still need to do work to complete the job. I feel like I should own part of their business now.

If google allowed for 0 stars, I absolutely would. I submitted a claim through Select home warranty after a septic back up. When finally was able to get ahold of someone to handle our dispatch, it was even harder to get ahold of someone who knew about our claim or property. Not only were we scheduled for a Tuesday, a week after our claim, we didn’t receive service until Wednesday; we only knew we weren’t being serviced because we called and hounded them. At 6 pm Tuesday we hadn’t received a call when our window was 11-3. Bad business, but we managed. When they finally arrived, Marvin, told us right away that he wasn’t going to be able to do an extended snaking, (even though the warranty company approved it immediately!!!) he claimed he had to submit another ticket, and we have to wait another 48-72 hours to receive service. We waited and heard nothing. We called the technician and received no information. Only to find out that our warranty company had approved everything. Marvin was trying to get us to spend the money outright to fix the plumbing problem without the insurance, by guising it in a way that “he had our back”. We smoked cigarettes with the man, had a great conversation, while he knowingly had no intention of performing maintenance on our home. Avoid this company though your warranty. You will be waiting in sewage if it’s an emergency, just to be danced with through smoke and mirrors.

On August 4, 2020, I noticed water in my basement. I contacted this company. I then contacted my home owner insurance company. After the plumber (Justin) contacted me to tell me that he was on his way, I told him not to worry because the insurance is sending someone. Justin ( the plumber) told me that the insurance company won’t fix the problem, they will only assess the problem. I said ok fine come on by. Justin came in with his muddy shoes and open his binder, looked at what was written on there and quoted $765. He went downstairs and said it was my sump pump. I also noticed that there was no water in the sump pump area. He did 5 minutes of work. I asked him how long sump pump lasts, he said 10 - 15 years. I said my sump pump was replaced about 3 years ago. He said you have a Home Depot special. He gave me a receipt that states Install new Zoeller sump pump with 3 year warranty. Install new check. I’ve subsequently called Watson’s Plumbing and Heating Co for a proper itemization of what was done to include cost of labor and they refused to give it to me. I’ve checked the sump pump and it is .3 watts. Not sure if .3 watts of power sump pump is worth $765. I am questioning their flat rate of $765 especially given the power of the sump pump. I am also questioning the fact that my sump pump was the issue. Justin took away the old one.

They were from Sears Warranty protection I have on my home.. In no way I am saying anything against Sears.. I am a satisfied customer with Sears Home Warranty... Watson's Plumbing answered the call right away.. The events that took place after that, i was very disappointed how they did business. They two guys who I think runs the company were not professional at all.. But they got my $100 service fee right away....They lied about not having or having or getting the part for my Hot water tank... Didn't mention why i called Sears, it was for the Hot water tank... From the day they came out, it took them 9 days to come back and repair my water tank.. In the meantime I called Sears Warranty at least 3 times to complain... But because Watson's already had the order and supposedly had the part I had to wait fir them to come back to repair my water tank... I was given the runner around by this company and would not recommend them to noone... #Disappointed Customer

They misled us in the sale of a water treatment system, and for 8 years, they came out every 12-18 months to service a neutralizer that we don't have. We were misled into believing that the system they installed consisted of a neutralizer and softener. It's just a softener. The last time they came out, there were issues in getting the chemicals to take, and the tech called the office. We were told a part would be ordered, and that was over a year ago. We tried to call and got no response. We had to call a new company to come out because we were noticing signs of low Ph. Our water was tested and the ph was 5.3. That's way too low. The new company is how we found out we didn't have a neutralizer. We feel scammed by the guy that sold us the system especially since we knew him. Needless to say, we are having a neutralizer installed by a more reputable company. Can't trust Watson's

Would only give a one because the company did respond quickly to replace my broken hot water heater. That is where my good review ends. I made the mistake of telling the technician my husband was out of town. He gave me the estimate of over $2600 to replace and take away the broken hot water heater. My bad for not knowing any better, but I realized my mistake after he had taken away the broken hot water heater. As I paid him and he was leaving I did say to him, "You know that is too much to charge for a hot water heater", and his only response was to laugh. Would not recommend Justin or this company due to their blatant disregard for sound, ethical business practices. Taking advantage of a woman, rip off artists!

Never again..a simple garbage disposal jam turned into an overpriced nightmare. We have used Watsons for several years. They are usually timely and efficient. Justin has been our service technician and does good work. However, when the jam was not repairable by Justin, he suggested a new unit he had in the truck. OK, how much? "$525 installed for an ISE 1/2HP Badger 5." (FYI: on Amazon, this unit costs $100. Also, no parts/labor estimate was given. I felt this was excessive and was being taken advantage of. He took about 45 minutes to install the unit. I figured I paid about $200 for the unit and $325 in labor. Ridiculous! I called Norman Watson/owner to discuss. He never returned my call. Way to go, Norman.

We are so happy we found Watson's!! The plumber that came to install our new water system was fantastic. We were so comfortable with Scott. He explained everything well, was very neat, protected our carpet, showed us how everything worked. And very important to me, he labeled everything! It was just an overall wonderful experience. We've wanted to do this for a couple years. Priced it here and there with a several companies, but in the end, not only did we choose Watson's for the great price, it really was for Scott. Finding contractors to work in your home that you trust can be very difficult - Scott is a wonderful young man. And my price quoted what I paid. Thank you.

Last Thursday ,6/25/15, we were unable to contact our regular plumber and had to go to the yellow pages. Upon calling Watson's Plumbing we were politely received and given a time one of their technicians would be available. The tech. (Justin) was very prompt to solve our well and pump problem. He was done in a very short time and very curtious . His manner of repair got back to havng clear water days faster than others who have done the same procedure. The pricing for the service was the same as our regular plumber, who is very reasonable in his charges. To sum up, we will recomend Watson's in the future and use them as our first call for help.i
