What To Watch Out For

High diagnostic fee ($250) that may deter initial contact: One reviewer explicitly criticized the $250 site visit charge as a barrier to getting quotes, and chose a competitor partly for this reason.

Pricing significantly above market in some cases: One detailed review documented Warrior's pinhole leak repair quote at $895–$1,025 vs. competitor's $500 for identical work (2x markup); another reviewer's estimate for boiler replacement was $11,400 before seeking second opinion.

Deposit requirement and cancellation risk: One reviewer reported Warrior cancelled a Monday appointment on Saturday because deposit was not paid quickly enough.

Occasional follow-up and communication lapses: One neighbor of a customer reported Warrior's technician did not fix hot water issue, left without explanation, and failed to return follow-up calls.

Excellent customer service. Gave me tips on how to handle things before I might need to use them. Also, gave an estimate over the phone without having to come into the house. I didn’t have work done this time, but they did excellent work in the past:

Above-and-beyond professionalism and guidance!!! I was dealing with a complicated frozen pipe situation involving a well system, and Brent at Warrior Plumbing was outstanding. From the start, he was thoughtful, knowledgeable, and incredibly responsive. What really stood out was how willing he was to communicate and guide me through the situation—even when he wasn’t physically on site. Brent made it clear that he was available any time of day to put my mind at ease . Brent took the time to walk through the problem step by step, helped me understand what to look for, and gave clear, practical guidance to safely mitigate the issue and prevent further damage. In a stressful situation where timing and the right decisions mattered, having his expertise and steady communication made all the difference. It’s rare to find a professional who is this invested in helping a customer do things the right way and protecting their home. Warrior Plumbing is exactly the kind of company you want to call when you need someone you can trust. Highly recommended.

The came out on the weekend for just a little more to fix my water but my pipes were frozen and they did everything they could to help me. Dave opened my wall so I could insulate my pipes. They followed up and turned my water back on and came right back out to fix a little drip. The best service ever. Brent and his plumbers were responsive, fast, friendly, professional and on time. Dave also cleaned up after he was done. 🥰 I would definitely recommend this company.

TWO WARNINGS: WARRIOR MAY NOT SCHEDULE YOU UNTIL YOU PAY A DEPOSIT! They told me they would be arriving on Monday between 9:30 - 10:30 am, but then cancelled on Saturday because I did not pay their deposit quickly enough. WARRIOR MAY SEND 3RD PARTY CONTRACTORS TO DO PART OF THE WORK! Warrior scheduled the work and estimated the cost of repair based on their contractor, but then could not do the work at the schedule or price they provided. They would not honor their estimate when they performed the work. Warrior rescheduled the repair twice, but refused to provide any discount for the inconvenience.

Do not use warrior plumbing. They left a huge mess in my bath tub from cleaning a clog in my sink. I was told that things in my sink were just disconnected and cleaned so there is no reason my bathtub should have been a mess. I should have called and complained immediately.

We are grateful beyond words for the consistently excellent work and high level of commitment to their customers that the talented, knowledgeable and, very importantly, totally trustworthy team at Warrior Plumbing brings to each and every job. Most recently, just days before the snow and ice storm (Fern) would cover Baltimore, I was told by another plumbing company, after two expensive part replacements and days of no heat in the house in mid December, that they were going to "red tag" our boiler (more days of ho heat in the house just before the January storm), and that they would leave a contract for us to sign for the purchase and installation of a new boiler. If we wanted to move forward, a signature and partial payment would be expected - all on a job where little inspection of the existing unit happened and no reason for the red-tagging existed. I knew that I had to, at the least, get a second and maybe third estimate on the cost of a new boiler. I called Warrior initially for just this estimate. After speaking with Brent and letting him know what had transpired with the first plumbing company, he offered to have someone come out the next morning and take a look at what might be going on. Dave and a colleague arrived at my house - did a simple, but essential inspection of the unit - correctly observed the new pricey parts the other plumber had installed in December - and, saw one part that was in good shape but had two bolts missing that would keep it standing upright. A schematic of the inside of my boiler - pulled from Dave's back pocket - and, some very smart observational skills and knowledge of my boiler - allowed Dave to have the boiler up and running again with the installation of two bolts, which he had on hand in his truck. Our heat has worked better in the past two weeks than on any day in my recent memory. And, I was able to tear up an estimate from the former plumber for $11,400. Whether Dave is a super-smart professional or an angel dropped down from heaven, I don't know. I am inclined to believe he is both. I am deeply grateful every day for the professionals and people that I have met and have had the pleasure of working with at Warrior. Their work is more than solid; and, as individuals, they, too, are more than solid - really good people - genuinely proud of what they do - proud, especially, to do an honest day's work, and very proud when they can help you resolve your problems. Some companies say that you will be safer with them; but, Warrior really cares - about their work, about you, and about keeping the good reputation for excellence and honesty they have earned from grateful customers in Baltimore. Thank you so much, Brent and Dave! I've got you on "speed dial" - lol - the rest of Baltimore should, too!

Warrior Plumbing & Heating does provide quality plumbing services. HOWEVER, DO NOT use them for anything else. The assertion that they can professionally act as a contractor and arrange for subcontractors is where things go wrong. A bathroom remodel took over 4 months. (A siding job took too many months of arguments, requiring this customer to call the siding manufacturer, AND to then read the Installation Manual and Tutorials for the siding product, in order to prove my points about a job done improperly by unlicensed subcontractors.) Still, Brent Goldsmith Sr. argued with me. Workmen showed up erratically, with no explanation. All materials had been ordered by myself, and were waiting and ready at my home. Subcontractors argued with me throughout the job(s), unaware of the terms dictated by that job's written proposal. There is an internal communication problem between Mr. Goldsmith Sr. and the folks he arranges to do subcontract work. This problem is chronic. Further, Warrior Plumbing's MHIC license # is actually under Collin Goldsmith, who is listed as a Contractor/Salesman. I never met Collin, and was told numerous times that he never left the office. I now understand that he has not been living in Maryland since year end 2018 approximately. I inquired and could not find any indication that Collin Goldsmith had applied for a change of address of record. Therefore, Warrior Plumbing & Heating should not be asserting that it is operating under a valid MHIC license. My overall impression of Warrior Plumbing & Heating as a contractor is that this company promises what it does not have the ability to deliver, in both remodelling knowledge and skill set, and integrity.

I am the manager for a local business. We had them come out for an emergency with our hot water heater with the expectation they'd be done by the time we needed to open for clients. We had to press them for an estimated time of completion which we then tacked an extra hour onto just to be safe. 2 hours out from looking to reopen, we ask if they'll be done in time and they cannot give us a concrete answer. We understood that the situation with our hot water heater was worse than they had expected but 1. as a professional who provides a service, you need to be able to take a look at a problem and give a time frame for completion and 2. IF that changes, you should let us know as quickly as possible. When we pressed them again for a time so we can notify clients they got defensive and rude. Eventually they decided they simply weren't taking the job any longer. Fine, obnoxious but no sweat. To add insult to injury, they call in a FALSE police report claiming they were assaulted by a member of our staff. Police show up to question us and we explained that no one (us or them) put their hands on anyone else. The cops asked the Warrior plumber who called in the report to re-state what happened in front of both us and the cops and he refused, realizing he'd been caught in a lie. The cops determined his claim had fallen apart and do not file a formal report. That's insane. I don't care how good of a plumber your reviews say you are. Your behavior was unacceptable and unprofessional. YOU came HERE to perform a professional service, yes we will absolutely hold you accountable to that. Absurd

I had to reset my Google password to leave this review. So this should be an indication of how important this was to me. I am sharing my experience in the hope that none of you make the mistake that I did by calling this company and getting a quote. (They charge $250 just to come out and asses the situation. If you decide to move forward, they will apply $125 to the final invoice.) Brook came out, saw the leaky pipe (*had pinhole leak) and told me that he was confident that it could be fixed without cutting the wall. (Yay!) He was very professional and very nice. However! The final "quote" would come from the owner: Brent Goldsmith - and this is where is all fell apart. His texted me and said $800 to 900 to repair the pinhole. If I thought this was acceptable, he would send a proposal. I send "sure, send the proposal". Instead, Brent emailed me an invoice for $895. (Huh?) I told him I wanted to get a second opinion. He said "we will apply $125 to the final amount". Big whoop. I ended up calling another company. The Tech came out, looked at the leak and said "I can fix this and I won't have to cut your wall". He fixed it (took 20 minutes, start to finish) and charged me $500. Oh: and no fee for the visit either. So $500 was the bill from Save The Day versus $1025 from Warrior Plumbing. Yup: Warrior charges double. Here's the upshot: if you are dumb enough to pay $250 for a site visit (like I was) then you're dumb enough to use this company. Learn from my mistake. DONT make the call. Yeah - they are warriors alright. It's them against the Consumer.

The short story here is, this company refused to give me an estimation of how long a water heater takes to install after coming to my salon and looking at the problem with their own eyes. I had a client at the time and had to just try to figure out myself how long the job would take. Multiple friends said 3 hours so I blocked out 5 1/2 for them. With an hour and a half until our first client was scheduled to be in and the water heater not even out of the box and down the stairs yet, I began to worry. I asked when the job would be done and If I should reschedule those clients and these fools REFUSED to give me ANY kind of estimate. I yelled at them for disrespecting my clients time and they called their dad and he yelled at my salon manager and demanded I apologize to his baby boys. No. I would not. i asked them to leave. They called the police and told the police I kicked them!!! i never came within 6 feet of these boys and the one that said I kicked him is a combat veteran!!! The police laughed at them and asked they tell their story in front of us and they declined before finally leaving. Kealea, my manager left a review and they lied just like they did to the police and said she was not a customer. What you need to realize is we hired another plumber same day and they got the job done and gave us a better price and did it in record time. So ultimately, warrior plumbing, ya tried to ruin my day and you just ended up saving me money and giving the BPD and the staff at Fringe a good laugh.

I can't say enough good about this company. Brent gave me an estimate over the phone after I sent photos as I was getting my hot water heater replaced (was not broken yet, just old). Other plumbing companies wanted to charge as much as $65 just to look at my old hot water heater. I only needed a replacement hot water heater, pretty straight forward job. I appreciated the convenience of him using photos which cut out a visit to my house and he gave me a reasonable and fair quote. He said even if I didn't use him for the job I could contact him if I had questions. He was extremely nice, down to earth, quickly communicated via text and phone, very courteous when he was at my house, he arrived 15 min early and fixed my powder room toilet all in less than two hours. I paid with credit card before he left as he simultaneously e-mailed me a detailed copy of my bill. I completely felt I could trust him being female as I've had bad experiences with contractors in the past, with them jacking up prices among other things. I especially liked that the business is local, family owned, as I always try to support "mom and pop" companies. We need more businesses like this in our community! Thanks Brent and Warrior Plumbing and Heating!

We've used Warrior Plumbing for all of our plumbing needs for a few years now. I appreciated from the beginning their communication style - if not in person, it was through text, and only calls when needed, which is perfect for me. When it came time for us to do a bathroom renovation, they provided a good estimate, and I knew the work would be done well. I've learned since buying our house that getting an estimate alone can range from being quick and simple to a several hour presentation. Warrior was thorough in my estimate but also didn't take up more time than I wanted (unlike other bathroom renovation company estimates I got years ago). Our primary bathroom is really small, so I knew it would be a challenge to get everything I wanted to fit. It took about a month overall (would have taken less time but we decided to move a vent over to make space for a shower). We've had our new bathroom for a few months now and I couldn't be happier. Although this was a stressful time, they kept me informed of what was going to be done each day, when they'd be arriving, and when I needed to have certain things ready (like tile). I'm so, so pleased with their work and professionalism. Thank you Warrior Plumbing!

It is difficult to express in words how grateful I am to Brent, his plumbers, and the skilled and precise remodeling team who took my kitchen from a flood zone to warm, functional, and modern. Brent’s expert counseling, organizational and problem-solving skills were invaluable across the six months it took repair both the plumbing, and the kitchen itself. This was a complex repair with no clear resolution from the start, and Brent’s patience and advice was invaluable. There is no one I trust more than Brent and I will never recommend or hire anyone else to help with plumbing or home remodeling. As the situation developed over time, I knew every day I had Brent as my counsel and his plumbers and workers on site performing repairs and restoration under very difficult circumstances. Finally the plumbing in my house is sound and the kitchen looks great. I’ve worked with a lot of plumbers and contractors over my lifetime, and Warrior is simply the best in the business. People who take pride in doing a perfect job in any field are unicorns. Warrior Plumbing really is the best in the business and Brent, CJ, Brooks, and Walter are genuinely terrific people and truly amazing in everything they do.

Warrior Plumbing provided excellent service amidst a trying situation. Our drains were backing up on a Sunday afternoon and we called roto-rooter out to snake the main sewer line. After over 4 hours, they not only failed to clear the clog, but then tried to jump right to suggesting a costly replacement of the sewer line. I then sought out local options and Brent and his team at Warrior were super helpful talking through the issue and someone came out first thing the next day. He cleared the blockage and walked me through scoping the line. The acute issue was largely resolved, and he did suggested that we may want to look at jetting out the sewer line to keep the problem from coming back too soon (a much more cost-effective and reasonable solution). Warrior got a jetting appointment scheduled for a few days later and now we are all set! All staff were super professional and communicative. We will be using them for all plumbing needs in the future and I highly recommend their services.

The bathroom vanity sink sprang a leak right at the top under the porcelain sink. Warrior came promptly, diagnosed problem and fixed it on a Friday afternoon. They were here under an hour. So what is to complain about?? My husband was pleased to schedule them and so did not ask for a cost quote. They did not offer. But their basic visit charge for an hour is $205!!! Of course he should have asked but he is 80 and not as focused as could be. For prices in this range they have a duty to prepare the client. So the overall charge was $291. I tried calling around to ask what other firms charged (without saying Warrior's price). Mostly labor around $130-50. They have since offered a senior discount of 10% which they also could have told us when they arrived. The workmanship was solid, but the customer care and thoughtfulness about the pricing was absent. Warrior is a solid, established neighborhood firm. They can do much better.
