Gas Line Installation, installed gas piping from new meter location to 4 locations inside home. From initial call to office thru to signoff and gas flowing in my home - I am very happy and pleased with the work performed. The office staff was great and followed through. The Master plumber and his helper were on time, professional, and did a wonderful job.
These guys rock man! ..... it's 10 degrees, I have NO drainage at all starting the night before....I was freaking out thinking, man its a day before Christmas Eve and its 10 degrees, not a company out there is going to come out here......I was wrong. I called Walker Tradesman Plumbing about 10am, and they were here at 11am.....and BAM fixed my problem! Thank You very much! Highly recommend for your plumbing needs....They will be back! Merry Christmas!
The plumbers were on time, knowledgeable, and polite. They did the job quickly and correctly.
This company was listed as a remodeling contractor. I have no complaints about the plumbing except it was expensive. But as for the other trades... Do NOT let the two men who identified themselves as painters anywhere near your walls. They have no concept of using tape or prepping before painting. They did not fill any nail holes before painting, and I am still cleaning up paint from the new tile floors. They painted all of my electronic equipment for no extra charge though. I ended up getting new doors, baseboards, and crown molding to cover up the mistakes that the painters made. This cost more than the original cost of the paint job. The walls still are streaked and uneven. The electrician acted as though he was doing me a favor by showing up to do what I paid him to do. He was to have installed all new switches and electrical plugs, which he didn't. He took the shortcut when he could. When a switch shorted out, he told me just not to use it. He left out an essential bolt in a ceiling fan. I discovered this after I got a new fan to replace the rattling one. Guess what instruction number 3 said to do. " "Insert bolt to hold motor in place." The tile was expertly laid, but the tile guys that did the grout left grout haze on all of my floors. All of them! I may never get it off. It was suggested that I wax them. Why would I get tile floors, so I could wax them ?!?!?! Those guys also left all their trash for me to deal with. There were 2 big garbage bags full and were too heavy for me to lift. I ended up doing some of the painting myself, and ordering mirrors and vent covers that never were delivered on my own. Never again!
Terrible. I will never again use Flournoy Plumbing. I encourage you to do the same. Here is a quick review of the story. In 2014, Flournoy Plumbing came to repair a leak in our water main. The plumbers were unprofessional (didn't bring key to backhoe & kept the time clock running). Flournoy did credit that hour on the final bill. When a similar leak appeared in 2015, we chose to use another company to diagnose the problem. Unprompted, the new plumber found our 2015 leak was at the exact site of Flournoy's Repair. It had failed due to poor soldering and to the huge rocks and concrete pushed into the repair hole on top of the pipe. The owner of Flournoy (Steve Walker) did not return my phone call. I called again and Steve did not offer to do anything, seeming completely unconcerned about my leak (or his company's work). Steve claimed the 2014 repair was a "temporary fix," did not offer to repair it, nor make things right, nor reimburse us for their failed work. I asked if he seriously told customers his repairs were "temporary" and how he can stay in business with this work and customer service. He cursed me out and hung up on me. Later that day, I went to the business and showed him the faulty pipe repair. He agreed it was a poor job. Said they only warrantee for 90 days. I asked to be repaid for the $570 temporary fix and the $1000 repair. He again cursed at me in his office. Claimed the plumber no longer works for them. The next day, he sent me an email saying they would do nothing further to reimburse or repair. I waited a month and tried sending an email and no one responded. So, if you want an owner to not stand behind their work, refuse to call you, cuss you out, identify their work as a temporary fix, then by all means go with Steve Walker and Flounoy Plumbing. Their website says "Satisfaction Guaranteed: we work for you" & "Excellent Customer Service: we want to keep you," but I encourage you not to believe it. Good luck.

1 review 2.0 star rating 1/2/2018 They did show up at the scheduled appointment time, however, it took them over an hour to write an estimate. For a water leak under house, pier and beam, repair small leak on water heater line and to replace all valves in house. Once I accepted estimate, just for the leak under house and to repair the water heater, they had to leave to get parts. Came back, it took them less than 10 under the house to realize they didn't have all necessary parts to fix leak under house. So they had to leave again, for another hour. They came back and 5 minutes later the leak under the house was fixed. Then they decided the pipes under the sink were leaking and needed to be replaced. Funny how they had never leaked previously but what am I to do, I was at their mercy. Of course that upped the price. AND, the didn't have p-traps, so they left for another hour to go get p-traps. When they finally finished and left, we discovered they hadn't relit the pilot light on the water heater. So, yes they had to return. So, $925.00 later, everything does seem to be working but the price was astronomical and the fact that they had no parts on their truck was ridiculous. I would never recommend them.

I called Flourney plumbing on a Thursday afternoon. After speaking to whom I am guessing led to believe was one of the head plumbers of the company, told me it was the end of the day, He had no one at the time who could fix my problem but, assured me the following day which was Friday they would schedule me right in. I said' it's my kitchen sink can't get it unclogged. I told him as long as it would be before 5:00pm that Friday . He said, not a problem at all' the morning secretary will give you a call before 10:00am to let you know when they will be there. I waited, and waited Friday for that call that never came. By 1:00 I called them some lady answered the phone so fast I repeated the company. She advised me that she Knew nothing about it and proceeded to tell me The earliest we can get someone to you is Monday maybe Tuesday,? No thank you and I will never ever call them again.
I needed a plumber last minute after work. Apparently after 4pm in most of town, is "after hours" for plumbers. I am a teacher and do not even get home till after 4. I called several different companies and was just shocked at the price to just get someone out here. Finally came across Walker and the sweetest woman answered the phone and told me she would try and get someone out..and she did! Leo the technician was fantastic and also very knowledgeable. He gave us some great tips about our system and what we can do to avoid this in the future. They charged one flat fee for the call and the work combined. Walker will be my go to from now on.
Please check all plumbers before calling these people. BEWARE!! These people wanted to charge me $245 to reseal a commode. It took all of twenty minutes, but they stretched it an hour. They claimed it was going to be difficult to disengage the commode, but it was nothing to dislodge. Please, if you are in need of help, honest help, do not call these people. I never post negative things about a business, but this visit was anything but reasonable. In response, I am pretty sure that your plumber would have been glad to charge me 245$$$$ if we had not said anything. Thank you for straightening out that 'miscommunication'.
I had hired another contractor in Abilene and upon observing his work product saw that it was not up to code, or even safe. Found Flournoy and hired them. They not only fixed all of the other guys crap work, but upgraded things nicely. Punctual, efficient, and rock solid. My wife and I have a great deal of experience over the last 38 years remodeling houses for rentals. My wife is very knowledgeable and particular about many things, and Steve and his guys are responsive and cooperative when changes are made. If you are looking for a plumber who knows his stuff, you have found one in Flournoy!
Came out same day of calling for both of my toilets running continuously. With in minuets I was quoted a price of $220 to fix the toilets and he came back from purchasing parts with only two 3" flappers in his hand and I said "those sure are expensive", and he replied "no $20 each, it's the labor that costs." Thank god he bought the wrong brand and I paid him $65 for coming out because he lied about the price costing $20 a quick search Lowe's had them for $6, and after I got the right brand it took me 5 min to fix both toilets so he was probably lying about labor cost as well.
We have used them for years. Why? They come when you call, and help with emergencies. This time, both our water heaters went out on the same day. Called and they were there within 3 hours. Very courteous. respectful of property and our situation. Advised of lunch break, how long they would be gone and when to expect them back, and they arrived early. My Wife and I trust them, and they always address me be name [on the phone or in person]. They may have a new name, but they still are the Great Plumber Company my family relies on. Thank you.
They come when you call! We lost water main into the house, here they are going after it! They are my plumbers of choice! They know their business and are friendly to us and ours and helpful. Wife gives them 5 Stars! Let me add, these guys have bust their tails to get water back on to the house. They did it! What a wonderful job. Still have more to do, and will be back tomorrow. This company makes you fell like we are all one family. What a blessing!
