Steve and Rob were both very responsive and knowledgeable. Rob showed up on time and finished the job as promised. He was very organized and professional. I would definitely use Walk on Water again.

The young man who fixed my toilet did a nice job. I appreciated the prompt text I received when I initially contacted them. They were able to take care of it right away. He does have to come back and replace the handle. Nice I didn’t have to replace the whole toilet.

I'll be honest...I called Walk On Water because A. They are located near me and B. Their business name tickled my funny bone. It turns out they are also great at their work, prompt and honest. I called Tuesday afternoon, texted a video of my issue, and Steve set up an appointment for Thursday morning. Rob showed up (on time) and had the issue figured out in about 5 minutes flat. The charge to fix it was very reasonable, and (with no pressure) Rob offered other related plumbing services and prices, should I want or need them. And I think I just might.

Steve, Walk on Water Plumbing Services, was very quick to reply to my request for help with not having hot water. He communicated by phone and text to arrange for a time for him to be by, after his very long workday. We live in Roxborough Park and it was quite a drive for him. He was able to diagnose water heater malfunction, and he continued to try to light the pilot for quite a while. The pilot would not stay lit for longer than a minute. I reviewed the inspection report for when we purchased the house in May of 2025, and the report pointed out that the water heater would need replacement soon, as it was already 17 years old. We made arrangements for a new water heater to be installed the next day and Lucas was extremely efficient and personable. I was not overcharged, as my husband had researched pricing on water heaters right after learning we needed a replacement. Labor/installation + cost of water heater was very reasonable. I’ve texted Steve for resources on wiring for our thermostat and he was able to have an electrician, Anthony Mares, call me right away. My wiring issues were taken care of very quickly and in a professional manner. I would also recommend Anthony(Tony)Mares for any electrical wiring needs.

I was referred to Steve and his team by a colleague. I'm glad I have them in our rolodex now as the price the quoted was very fair and when Rob who was assigned to our case came out to help with the repair he was on time (ahead of schedule which worked better for us that day) and quickly repaired the leak. He was professional and very knowledgable. He didn't pressure us for cross sales and try to upgrade us, etc. like the big firms in the area do- bottom line is Rob enjoys helping us customers and takes pride in his work. It's impressive to see how Steve has grown his company through word of mouth and no marketing which helps keep the costs down and transfers to our own project fair pricing we customers see. I highly recommend this group and will certainly use them in the future.

We have now had two positive experiences with Walk on Water Plumbing. The first was an install of three complicated Toto skirted toilets over concrete slab and the second was a repair to a bathtub drain and shower valve that another plumber installed incorrectly. In each case the work was scheduled promptly, Steve and his team showed up on time, they resolved the problems expeditiously and completely and they charged a fair price. In our case they also did a good job documenting for us what the other plumber did incorrectly so that we could maintain a paper trail. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Steve was absolutely wonderful. How he manages to be so efficient in his work while also fielding calls such that he could squeeze us in is amazing. Our 30yr old water meter cracked which led to learning the gate valve on the main line feeding the water meter was busted and wouldn’t fully close. After HR water replaced the water meter, the gate valve would not open fully and Steve was able to come do an emergency valve replacement and restore water to our house for a very reasonable charge. Eternally grateful for the great work and efficiency to get us back to being able to flush a toilet again!

We had a great experience with Walk on Water Plumbing today. Lucas came out to replace some valves and did an outstanding job. He was prompt, fast, professional, and very courteous throughout the entire visit. He explained everything clearly, completed the work efficiently, and the pricing was extremely fair. It’s refreshing to work with someone who takes pride in their work and treats customers so well. Walk on Water, specifically Steve, did a wonderful job for us. We discovered a drain pipe leak inside our basement wall and contacted Steve. He had an appointment available the next day! He found the leak, fixed it, and even cleared a blockage in the line. Steve even showed us how he improved the drainage by changing the elbow joint alignment. What a first class guy! We highly recommend Walk on Water and would certainly use their services in the future.

Steve and his company are fantastic - we had them replace a water heater, which they got done in less than 24 hours from calling on a Sunday late afternoon. Took away the old, installed the new, removed some extraneous plumbing, installed a new pan and drain - all for the fixed price he bid over one picture and a text message on Sunday. Great workmanship, very professional - shows that he's a third generation master plumber.

Rob showed up right on time and completed clean, quality plumbing work. He carefully walked through all his repair and new line work with me when completed. Very knowledgable, confident and professional approach. This is the second time I’ve hired Walk on Water Plumbing and will use them again in the future. I’ve also referred them to neighbors needing the same work done in their homes.

Steve and his team did a great job installing a water heater for us. He patiently answered all my questions about various options to help guide me through making the right choice for us when considering tank vs tankless water heaters. He scheduled the work quickly and arrived on time. They are honest, fair, and trustworthy so I would highly recommend them for any plumbing work.

They had installed a water heater for me before in a different house, and fixed the plumbing for the one I am currently in. Incredibly quick response time and scheduling. They are my go to.

Steve at Walk on Water runs a first class company. I had his team out to reattach my new sinks in my kitchen and bathroom after new countertops were installed. There was a slight issue but how Steve addressed it and followed up personally made me appreciate him even more. Really nice gentleman and fair pricing. You won't regret it.
