We just had Veterans Plumbing come out to fix an outside faucet that wouldn't stop leaking. The problem was fixed quickly with a very reasonable service call cost. The communication line with the office was exceptional !!! We WILL use them again and recommend them to anyone needing a plumber.
David was amazing! He came out and capped my gas line to my fireplace before this winter storm and fixed a toilet issues we had for a while! Fast and great service!
We called Veteran Plumbing to come help find a leak that we had in the front yard. David came out to confirm the leak and the next day they came out, found it and had it fixed! Super helpful, fast, nice person to deal with. Will use again any time we have a plumbing issue. Will also recommend to anyone we can!
They have been out for 3 issues, kitchen faucet that is leaking from the cartridge. The guy that came out out in the notes that the handle was worn. Home warranty refused because they interpreted it as cosmetic . Meanwhile water is leaking all over when we use it . I asked if he could revise his comments and he said no, and walked away. 2nd time, we had a leak over the shower. Turns out a piece broke in the attic. He fixed it quickly, however now everytime it gets below freezing the shower stops working . Had a different plumber come out and turns out Veteran plumber didn't put the insulation back over the plumbing when he finished. Third time was for a water heater replacement. This was covered under our home warranty. His estimate was 1,700 above the amount the warranty would pay. I purchased a new water heater from Home Depot and had them install it Total price was just under 1,000 dollars including the water heater, parts, and labor. Veterans is a total scam.
Veterans Plumbing is VERY unprofessional. Shannon (the owner's wife) hung up when confronted with pictures of repairs that had been made and when questioned about the quality they provide. She stated that if the owner (Whom is her husband and the one who completed the repairs numerous times because the pex line kept leaking) was the one who completed repairs that an excellent job was done. After showing pictures to two other plumbers, I was told "we would be fired if we completed repairs like this". Save your money and go with someone that is more professional and will complete the repairs properly. Home flooded because of the substandard repairs and they will not stand behind their work!
Outstanding Service from a Truly Honest and Professional Team! I can’t say enough good things about Veteran Plumbing Services (VPS). I called them in the morning, and to my surprise, they were able to come out within just a few hours—incredibly responsive! David, the owner, personally came out and quickly got to work. He ran a camera through my sewer clean-out line all the way to the city line and was able to diagnose the issue within minutes. What really impressed me was his honesty and professionalism. Rather than immediately jumping to an expensive repair, David gave me solid advice: since the issue was right at the city connection and involved root intrusion, he recommended I reach out to the City of Norman first. That level of transparency is rare and much appreciated. He also provided me with a very fair and honest quote—literally half the price of what another company had quoted me. On top of that, he included the video footage in the follow-up email, allowing me to review the problem myself. No pressure, just facts and support. A huge shoutout as well to Ms. Shannon in the office—super friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and patient with my many questions over several phone calls. She made the whole process feel seamless and stress-free. It’s also worth mentioning that VPS is veteran-owned and operated, and they proudly support fellow veterans with discounts—which speaks volumes about their values and commitment to the community. If you’re looking for reliable, honest, and highly professional plumbing services, look no further than Veteran Plumbing. They’ve earned a customer for life!
I would have given this company 4-5 stars if I was not grossly overcharged. I am happy with the quality of work but that’s just a piece of the pie. I contacted them because I had a leak coming from upstairs. The plumber arrived sooner than expected which was a plus and immediately diagnosed it as the seal being broken on the toilet. He said it would be $350 to remove the toilet and fix the problem. He removed the toilet and came back down and said “it needed a flange and that was an additional $350. When I enquired about the $350 initial cost for the repair he said that was just to replace the wax ring and closet bolt. That did not include the flange and labor to replace the flange. Additionally he stated it was $420 to replace the flange but he had given me a military discount of $70. I had the work done because I had rushed home earlier to wait for a plumber who an hour and a half later was a no show and I just wanted to get it over and done with. As a veteran, I try to support my local veteran businesses. This one I will not use in the future. I was happy with the work done but the price was overboard. $350 to replace the wax ring and bolts I get. An additional $420 to replace the flange when you already had the toilet removed and was not coming back to do a completely new job, well you live and you learn!!
Veterans gained a new customer today, and I am recommending them to anyone in their service area. We had a plugged kitchen sink, and if we turned on the disposal, it pushed into the other sink. We called someone else yesterday, who spent half the day trying to run a snake and camera. They not only didn't fix the sink, but told us we had a break that would cost $7K to repair, while tearing up much of my home. We called Veterans today to explain the issue, and thankfully they were able to come this morning. In 15 minutes, he isolated the problem area, cleared the plug, and in another 15 minutes confirmed the camera showed no breaks. All for a fraction of what we paid yesterday. David explained everything clearly, explained what would be needed if there was a break found, and was more than willing to itemize the costs. We were blessed with an easy outcome today, but Veterans will be the first I call for any future trouble!
I am happy with the quality of work and had the price been fair would have given 5 stars. However, the price was outrageous and unreasonable. I had a leak that was coming from my toilet. I was initially told it would be $350 to remove the toilet and fix the leak. Once the toilet was removed I was told it needed a new flange which was an additional $420. When I asked about the price I was told the initial price of $350 only covered the wax ring and closet bolt and did not cover the flange. Since a flange can be picked up at Home Depot for $12 and the toilet was already removed, incurring an additional full labor charge was unfair at best. In the end I was billed $350 to replace the wax ring and another $350 to replace the flange. As a veteran, I try to support my locally owned veteran businesses. This is one that I will not be using in the future and will definitely not recommend to anyone.
Updated 1-28-2026....used Veteran Plumbing a second time today and David was amazing again. David came the same day I called and replaced a wax ring on our toilet and replaced a gasket on our outside water faucet after checking it to make sure it didn't bust a pipe. David is a professional, very kind and extremely neat. We are very happy we found him and will continue to use him for all our plumbing needs. Oh, his staff is amazing too@ Veteran Plumbing for the first time today and was 100% happy with their service and will use them again. Highly recommend David, he was prompt, friendly, and efficient. David replaced our washing machine connections replaced our kitchen faucet and some leaking pipes under our sink.
This company is the absolute BEST! I was needing to replace my water heater and had no idea where to start. I gave up all hope of having hot water in my house until I found them. They not only gave me a once in a life time deal, they made the whole process super easy! The owners were super knowledgeable in what I needed and walked me through the whole process. I will be recommending this company to everyone I know! They are affordable and have all the services one could ask for! Not enough stars can be given for this company!
I just bought a house, and the upstairs shower drain had a lot of buildup preventing the shower from draining properly. I did what I could to clear it myself, but it was so clogged up, I had to call a professional. The office assistant, Kyla, returned my call quickly and was very kind. David, the plumber, arrived within an hour after I called, was incredibly friendly, professional, and even patient about my barking dog, which I appreciate. Most importantly, he resolved the issue quickly and it didn’t cost me a fortune!
I've used Veteran's for my plumbing needs for the past 4 years. As we went to sell our house, the inspector came across items that needed to be repaired including replacing 15' of sewer line that had shifted off the main. David and his crew came out and did an amazing job at the best price to help us make sure our home was safe and ready for the next family. We appreciate Veteran's Plumbing more and more each time we use them and would wholeheartedly refer them to anyone.
I had a pipe fitting break on the house side of the water meter. David came out and assessed the problem and the very next morning came out and fixed the problem. He got the issue fixed quickly and thoroughly. I was so impressed by his knowledge and professionalism that I hired him on the spot to install an expansion tank and water hammer arresters on my hot water tank. I give "Veteran Plumbing Services" a BIG A++ on this one!
Such an easy and great experience with the VPS crew. Shannon is always friendly & cordial and gets you scheduled quickly. 3 out of 4 times that they didn't have a same-day opening, she still got them to us same day! Tyler is consistently efficient, professional, and personable. Fair prices, then the Veteran's discount almost always puts them comfortably lower than competitors! Thank you for always taking care of us 🤗
