I had to have bathroom leaks repaired and found David on Thumbtack. He found the problem , told me what it would take to fix it, showed me all the damaged parts and at no time did I ever feel like he was being deceitful or trying to "up sell" me. That kind of integrity is hard to find, so needless to say, I found my new plumber!
I cant say enough good things about David, Robbie, and Randy at Valu-Rite Plumbing! My drainage situation was more than unique and presented many challenges that I doubt many people/plumbers have faced in their lifetimes. They stuck with me over an entire month, continuously coming out to troubleshoot the problem, trying to come up with the best and most affordable plan forward, and never let me lose faith. I remember Robbie reassuring me one day with 'Keep Smiling Miss Heather!' Despite the job dragging on for an infinite amount of time longer than they anticipated, through no fault of their own, mind you, they never increased the quoted price on me unless it was to buy additional equipment for my home. I would trust these folks with any job at my home and will be calling them back out in the future, for as long as they are in business!
We are very happy with David at Valu-Rite. After reaching out to him via Thumbtack, he responded quickly, did not require a fee for coming out, and he got the job done quickly and expertly. We will be contacting him again for any future plumbing needs. He's a pro, his prices are fair, and he's a nice man too.
David came to my house to repair a busted expansion tank and install a toilet which had a tricky flange situation. He took care of the expansion tank and got 95% of the way there on the toilet but was having issues with water line connection. At that point it was late so he said he'd come back and finish in the next day or so. This is a basement toilet and he seemed like a nice guy so I said agreed and paid him. I have reached out multiple times over the last weeks but have'nt heard back. NIce guy and seems to know what he is doing but its unprofessional to not finish the job you were paid for.
Set up an appointment. He never came. I called back to give him the benefit of the doubt. He didn't apologize at all. I rescheduled again for the next day, he never showed up or contacted me--again. Seriously? I'm not sure how this guy runs a successful business, but I cannot recommend this company. Stay away.
David and his crew were amazing! Quality of work and expertise, A+ Timeliness and availability, A+ Kindness and care, A+ David is a pleasure to work with, and so is his entire crew. They stayed late on a Friday evening to finish the job before the weekend, and they even checked back in with us over the weekend to make sure everything was working well. They get the job done, and they get it done right, with attention to detail and expertise. As a consumer, there is also tremendous value to having people in your home that make you feel like you're in good hands, that care, and that make you feel safe, and Valu-Rite provides all of this and more. Update, 5 months later: I called David and the Valu-Rite crew out for a new issue; my main drain to the street was clogged, and needed replacing. David showed up same-day with a tractor and began digging! Now David is a pleasure to be around, but what I equally appreciate is his crew; they're all kind, respectful, service-oriented people who know what they're doing, especially George. They stayed late to finish the job, and made sure we had water while they were working. They didn't leave our site until the job was done. You can truly trust these guys for honest, high-quality work. Having a trusted company like Valu-Rite that you can count on takes some of the stress out of home ownership.
I purchased a foreclosed home this September. It took weeks to get the water turned on, as the utility company will not leave it on if any water is running at the time. After a few tries, I realized there were definitely leaks in the home, but it took so long to work through getting utilities turned on that I was moving in without any running water. We tried to daignose the issues ourselves, it ended with water pouring out of the side of the house. We found David through Service Magic, I am incredibly grateful we did. The other quotes I received, even just for connecting a sink, ran about 30% of what David charged to essentially troubleshoot an entire pipe system that had been frozen and broken throughout. He literally spent days, including weekend days, working to resolve the issues. He started Friday, then Satursday I think he spent 10 hours, working late into the night, to make sure we would have running water moving forward. He was terrific to work with, his pricing was more than reasonable, and I would recommend his services to anyone in need of plumbing services.
These guys are great! Let's start there. I had an unexpected emergency (aren't they all) and started making calls for a plumber to repair a broken main water line to my house. It looked like a small leak, they repaired that and still the meter was spinning indicating another leak somewhere else in the line. I had personally repaired this line twice before- so when the advice came that I need to completely replace the line, I knew it was time and these guys were just shooting straight with me. The staff (all of the staff) were truly professionals, yes sir, no sir etc. Way beyond that, that were really nice people to deal with and frankly I felt like I was in good hands. So, as I write this, my water is back on, I have a new water line and feel like the price was actually fair and maybe even a bargain! I would HIGHLY recommend Valu-Rite Plumbing for any plumbing needs! ( It's good to have a GREAT plumber when you need them) Robert Wright Woodstock, GA
Valu-Rite Plumbing is the best plumbing service that I have every used. We discovered that we had a leak in our main water line which was over 15 years old. Randy, William and Rollo worked like Trojans to make sure that we had our water back on by sundown. They have the experience, do quality work and do everything to make sure that you are satisfied with their work and clean-up. I was also impressed with the equipment and the quality plumbing materials they used to put in our new water line. The owner and master plumber David Greene also came out twice to make sure the project was going as promised. He has also promised to come back out to double check everything within a couple days after things dry out. We couldn't be happier with their plumbing service and quality of work. I would recommend them to anyone looking a great plumbing service. Rick and Teresa Hamilton - Alpharetta, GA
They came to replace a very old, very corroded flange and to swap out our old toilet for a new one that we had purchased on our own. We were actually going to just swap out the toilet ourselves, until we saw the horrific flange/closet bend situation. Our home is older, so the flange and closet bend were actually one piece. That's when we decided to call in the professionals. They were ON TIME, professional, friendly, and got the job done in no time. They left the bathroom spotless. It was actually cleaner when they left than it was before they got here. Our bill was extremely reasonable. They did suggest a few maintenance items we might want to consider later on, but we did not feel pressured to do any further work. They are just all-around dependable and honest. ValuRite will definitely be our go-to plumbers in the future. Thanks so much for everything, guys!
This guy is severely unprofessional. I had an issue with my well pump so I called a few places to get a diagnostic check on the system. I called at 10:00 and he said he would be at my place between 12:00 and 1:00. He told me it sounded like it would take a full system replacement so estimated $1200. (Before he even looked at the system). So I get a family member to my house to wait on him. At 12:55 I call and he "got another call that was closer to him" so he was going to take that one first. That's the last I hear from him UNTIL 4:00. By that time, another fantastic company made it out properly diagnosed the problem and fixed it for $125.00. Money well spent. After the name calling session ended, he threatened to Lien my property. Don't get pushed around by this guy. Get a second opinion EVERYTIME!!
Woke up one morning to a huge puddle of waste water in half our basement Yuck! An Overhead cast iron pipe decided to spring a hole in it after 60+ years. David at Valu-Rite was the first to answer my plea for HELP and came out that afternoon to assess the situation and give us a quote. Fixed the line within 3 days and also installed a new disposer and clothes washer wash box while they were here. I found them to be honest, reliable and men of integrity- truly men of character because they did what they said when they said they would do it. That’s really important to me in this day of no customer service! Besides this, they were very Professional, trustworthy, and reasonably priced! I would not hesitate to call Valu-Rite should I need a plumber in the future!! East Cobb County
I just had Value-Rite Plumbing rework my entire home's plumbing and sewage system and crawl space encapsulation and I am beyond satisfied. To put it simply, Value-Rite Plumbing is the best around. David is a professional, and with his expertise, he will diagnose any plumbing issue big or small with proper planning and organization and they will follow through with flawless execution of the plans. David and all of his employees are very friendly and knowledgeable and operate with integrity as they pay attention to every detail until their customer is satisfied and "Plumb Happy"! I would recommend you not waste any time with calling any other plumbing company. Call Valu-Rite Plumbing and rest assured they will get the job done! - Jacob
My new family!!!! I normally have terrible experiences with plumbers, but this company blew my mind. Not only did they come out on a Saturday to replace my leaking pipes outside, they were extremely kind, treated me like family, did an incredible job, were priced HALF of what two other plumbers quoted, and have a lifetime warranty! THEN, I had another issue inside my house and they texted me through the whole process and gave me advice when my contractors plumber had to fix the issue. Like family. This was the only time in my life that I had an enjoyable plumber experience and didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of. You will NOT be disappointed. These are the only plumbers I trust!
Top notch. Immediately available to replace hot water heater. Heater was in difficult access area in crawl space of home. All work went off without a hitch. Finally, a plumber who does what he says and price competitive. Not only did Valu-rite do a great job on repair but workman noticed that my pressure regulator was leaking and repaired on the spot. I had always thought regulator was there to control water pressure from street; what I failed to realize was that its role is also to keep uniform pressure within home. Now I can turn on faucet in one part of home without pressure drop in another. Thanks Valu rite is now on my favorites list when I need plumbing services.
