I recently used Top Rated Plumbing and couldn’t be happier with the service! From the moment I called, they were professional, responsive, and easy to work with. The plumber arrived on time, explained everything clearly, and completed the job quickly and efficiently. The quality of work was excellent, pricing was fair, and they left everything clean and tidy. It’s hard to find reliable and honest plumbing services these days, but Top Rated Plumbing truly lives up to their name. Highly recommend them to anyone needing plumbing repairs or installations!

These Guys don’t play around ! We lost our hot water heater and it was at a critical time when that happened. So we called these guys and lo and behold it almost seemed although all we had to do is click our heels 3 times and presto…… These guys were there with a brand new Hot WaterHeater asthough they new I’d be calling. Now speaking on on fast courteous and showing real professionalism, These guys hands down had it all together. They knocked the job out like it was as simple as changing a flat tire. I’m grateful and will forever use and recommend Top Rated Plumbing and Remodeling…… you won’t be disappointed !!!!

Anthony & his team are my go to construction guys. They have done everything from interior renovation to exterior remodeling for me. I have the utmost respect for his work & expertise. He is very compassionate which is something I look for in a contractor as it shows me that he cares about his customers.

My experience as a customer of Anthony is that he came to my home for a consultation, charged me $100, promised me an estimate, and then never followed through. I never received the estimate he promised.  I wrote a review about this on Yelp. Anthony responded on Yelp, denying that I was his customer or that he knew me. I noticed he also did this to other people who had left him negative reviews on Yelp. My experience as a customer of Anthony then got really scary. I began receiving personal threats from Anthony about what would happen to me if I did not remove my negative review.  Anthony made it clear in his threats that he knew where I lived and he would be coming after me. My review was later removed through Yelp HQ, because "it didn't include enough detail about your experiences as a customer."  I avoided details because I was scared, but I wanted to warn others. I hope this new review provides sufficient details about my experience.  I wonder how many other people have been swindled by Anthony, only to be intimidated into silence. Be very, very careful about letting this man into your home.

Our family highly recommends you call Anthony with any of your plumbing and general contracting needs! We feel very fortunate we did. Here is our story: We weren't very familiar with atmospheric rivers and bomb cyclones previously, yet we received a very quick education in them as we were watching our grill glide thirty feet across our backyard, and our canopy structure somehow shifted dangerously close to the back of our house. Luckily, it stopped short of the house. Unluckily, it busted a pipe coming from the house and started gushing water into our already water logged and flooded backyard. Uh oh! At this point we are frantically trying to diagnose what's going on and shut off the water. Problem is that the only way to stop the water is to turn off the water to the entire house. Even though this was a inconvenience we could live with temporarily, the fact that we have an infant and a toddler and had important events to get ready for...we had a problem. We called our normal plumbing service...not able to make it after hours. They could come the next afternoon. Called another 24/7 plumbing service. Nope. No answer (they did end up calling the next morning). "Call every plumber you can find," my wife exclaimed! We tried plumber after plumber. It's going to cost what to come out now! All we could find was unavailability and price gouging. Ugh! And then we called Anthony's Plumbing and Help U Plumb. He was very courteous and informative on the phone about his rate and eta. He had to drive up from American Canyon (we're in Napa). He arrived and diagnosed the issue quickly and got straight to work. Needing more parts for our specific issue, he went out to the store to pick it up and returned promptly. He was able to not only get us running water again, but also fix the pipe from the storm and improve the fixture (as my father in law had made some "repairs" that could have or were causing further issues). Awesome job! We were back! Every step of the way, Anthony answered all my questions and concerns regarding the work being done. He explained the process, and I truly appreciated his communication and professionalism. He even took a look at our kitchen faucet which was having a pressure issue. He explained what was going on there and gave us information to explore further. We have hard water that is producing some serious mineral buildup that is causing issues throughout the plumbing. We plan to address that with Anthony in the near future! We had multiple plumbers come look at this issue and each time they cleaned the debris blocking the pipes without getting to the root of the issue. Repeat trips out with multiple charges. So glad we found Anthony. All in all Anthony's plumbing service more than exceeded our expectations. He's a pros pro. He cares about the quality of the work first and foremost. He came to us in a time of need, with a very competitive rate. His customer service and communication were excellent. He really went above and beyond throughout the entire experience and we were extremely grateful for him traveling to us and working outdoors in the dark during a storm. Bonus, he was very personable and our son liked him so much he drew him a picture to take home with him :) Thank you Anthony! Do yourself a favor and give Anthony's plumbing and remodel a call.

Called on a Saturday afternoon, during business hours posted on Yelp ("Mon-Sat 8 am - 6 pm"). Call was not returned either that day or the next, despite other reviews which state that he was available on Sundays as well. It's now Monday, without a callback, and we need to find someone else. UPDATE: Monday morning (not long after posting the review above), I did receive a call back from Anthony, and for that reason alone, I added two stars. Additionally, Anthony responded to this review, by appending his own comments, saying that his company is not a "24 hour Emergency service company" and that he "take[s] time for [his] family and cant save the day all the time. We have Work hours that are Stated Clearly." Let me start by saying I totally support the right of hard-working people to take time to be with their families. The problem I have with my experience, is NOT that he took well-deserved time off! Rather, the issue arises because I did call during the "Work hours that are Stated Clearly": As of last Saturday, his Yelp page said his hours were "Mon-Sat 8 am - 6 pm" (cut and pasted from the Yelp page itself). I noted those hours when I called his service on Saturday, well before his posted Saturday closing time (If memory serves, I rang around 3pm). Had he called back, and said he was booked, or closing early (or had his voicemail greeting said these things in contradiction of Yelp-posted hours), I would have totally understood. Likewise, had the posted hours said "Closed Saturday and Sunday" I would have also understood. But I called during the posted hours, got no call back until Monday, and then (instead of regretting what appears to be a confusion due to incorrectly-posted working hours) I was told he was not a 24-hour service. I notice that Anthony has just changed his posted working hours on Yelp (they now read that he closes at 5pm on Saturdays --- but even by these shorter Saturday hours, I did call before closing that Saturday). I respectfully suggest that Anthony modify the posted hours to read "Saturday, by appointment only" which would give him the flexibility to answer calls if he wished on weekends, or not answer them if he wants to set the time aside for his family. This clearly was an unfortunate misunderstanding, and hopefully a change to posted hours on Yelp will prevent it from recurring in the future.

Let me preface this review by saying I cannot put into words how honest, forthright & to the point this guy is. It's profoundly refreshing! Our journey started with me thinking I could refresh the look of a tub/shower by replacing some valve stems , a diverted stem & drain grate. Well I broke the drain pipe in the process of removing the old grate. Well long story short, this quickly became a repair I could not handle on my own. I believed the only way to repair it was to tear out the head wall & if that had to done then a remodel might as well happen since the walls are tiled. I searched Yelp for a plumber/ general contractor for remodel quotes & several messaged. Anthony was the only one who said: I'll do whatever you want. But what if I can fix it without remodeling? He explained to me the going rates for remodel vs. the cost of what he thought it might cost to do a repair. He also told me that it would be $100 to come out to do an estimate but that $100 would be applied towards the overall cost if work was to be done. To some this may be a turn off. To me, I see it as someone whom values their time as I do mine. Needless to say I had him come out & he told me what needs to done & how much it would cost "if" that's the problem. I said let's do it! As luck would have it, that repair wasn't the only issue & as it turns out other things were wrong. Some my doing, others being the original materials used in building the house. He explained everything every step of the way, showed me every step of the way, made it a point to involve me & even gave me pointers for next time. At several turns he could've up sold me, taken advantage of me or even made it a bigger job to benefit him & yet he didn't. He made adjustments to his original game plan, & completed the job the same day. Despite the prospect of that happening appeared bleak without his quick thinking & intuitiveness. All in all I'm happy I chose this man. He isn't the cheapest & he's certainly not the most expensive. But in life you learn...you get what you pay for. Anthony is just an honest, hard working man, trying hard to make an honest living in a field chalk full of phonies & crooks! I've found my plumber for life

This review is long over due! Last summer I had a bulbous ceiling! (what? yeah! it was crazy looking!) apparently a slow leak from the bathroom upstairs! I went on Yelp and did the request quote etc.. to see who would get back to me and fast! Anthony was consistently getting back to me and pretty darn quick for actually getting over here. He literally walked me through details like, "I shouldn't be able to lift your toilet off the ground" and then did so! He literally explained all that should be and that wasn't~ in the layout of my plumbing. (I know nothing of plumbing so it's a little scary to not know if someone was gonna just make up stuff.) He was keen to get the job and so threw in a lot of little other things that he noticed were needed or wrong and offered to right them. Now, that is the kind of service I think we are ALL looking for! Basically, he explained to me the whole process of what I was about to go through, First I would need to call remediation etc..then he'd come back out...Meanwhile I needed to find the tile to replace my floor. The remediation people ended up accidentally chopping the wires to my heated floors, so Anthony had to replace that as well. In the end, I could not find my tile and had to figure something else out. I was super picky of every single tile being replaced and they (He & Rosie) let me choose each and every piece in the layout. Swapping out pieces back and forth. They were so patient. They will tell you how things "should" be done but will do whatever you want, so it's a great rapport to figure out what you want and why things might need to be laid out a certain way etc. if you are wanting to keep control of your design. They were great listeners and understood my fighting for certain design elements. They keep everything positive and moving and if I ever needed to remodel a bathroom let alone remodel a house, I'd hire these guys in a minute for their timeliness, workmanship and staying on budget. Though they came from far away, they were probably the best plumber/contractor I could have asked for!

this guy is the real deal. Our bathroom was recently remodeled when I noticed a leak coming from around the toilet. We couldn't get ahold of our contractor Jose, so we called Helpuplumb since we needed plumbing help. Anthony was upfront explaining there would be a 1 hr min charge that would be applied to the total if there was a more serious problem than an easy repair. So figuring it would be a simple fix since we just had our bathroom remodeled we made the appointment. Anthony pulled up the toilet to check things out and he found that the contractor just tiled over a rotten old sub floor and the new toilet was leaking for at least 3 months under the layers of floor and tile to now create a bigger problem. The wood under the toilet, (what wood) was gone and had no way to secure the toilet permanent to the floor which explains why it was moving the whole time! After basically redoing the plumbing under the floor for the toilet he found many other shotty poor fixes and at that point we realized we were in trouble. We just spent 10K on the bathroom and basically we were going to have to start over since there was no space under the house to crawl meant the new floor had to come up to fix the rotten pipes that were just left that way to leak another day. I guess saving money by not getting a permit was a bad idea which was suggested by our contractor! Come to find out He just said he was a contractor, after looking for Jose on the CSLB website we realized he wasn't licensed to begin with. I wish we took our time and did our research before we got into this mess. Even thought Anthony's job was not a simple fix I'm glad we got the right professional to complete the job he had permits and got the job inspected and gave us a one year warranty when it was all over we have not had a problem since its been a couple years now thanks Anthony.

I've hired Anthony multiple times because he does such great work! Most recently I discovered a leak in my fire sprinkler system and when he inspected it he noted that the water softener installed by Culligan was reducing the size of the piping upstream from the sprinkler system potentially reducing its effectiveness--though that wasn't the cause of the leak, it could have caused problems in a fire. So he re-did the pipes and suggested installing a Moen Flo device--a whole home automated water shutoff valve in case some other pipe started leaking. His suggestion saved me some money on my homeowner's insurance premiums and I have piece of mind that my house won't flood if a pipe breaks! Previously I hired him to come fix our kitchen disposal and he discovered that our remodeling contractor didn't put an angle in the pipe, causing water to sit--when opened up, the pipe was half-full with debris even though the remodel was only 5 years ago. A new disposal and properly installed pipe saved me a ton of headache in the future! The first time I met him he correctly installed a toilet and vanity from yet another remodeling contractor who did it wrong! He is very straightforward about his pricing and has great advice about the best replacement parts for things that were done incorrectly or poorly by the "other guy".

I had a very tired old bathroom that my wife had been begging me to get remodeled for her. I really didn't know where to start. After calling a few contractors. The 1st never got back to us with an estimate. Another never showed up. I finally met Anthony he walked me through the process and let me know how much it would cost , how long it would take, and really made my wife and I very comfortable with his company. I have an older house with iron pipes and an older water heater. We came to the decision to install a new Navien water heater with a recirculation pump and get rid of those old dirty pipes. He showed me the inside of one of the pipes, and I couldn't believe we had been drinking and showering in that. So after it was all said and done ,WoW! The attention to detail and the professionalism of him and his team were well above expectations. The bathroom is beautiful , and our water pressure is INCREDIBLE! We have never run out of hot water in the new tub/spa , and as soon I turn on the faucet, I get hot water. We are not fancy people by any stretch, but Anthony went out of his way to make us feel like royalty. Next is the kitchen! Sorry, no pictures. The lens on my phone is cracked

My dad and husband were putting in a new sink when an old, rusted pipe broke and began spewing hot water all over my kitchen. While they are pretty handy guys, they didn't have the tools necessary to weld the pipe back. As it was a Sunday, we were prepared to get screwed with a high fee. My husband put out calls to several plumbers in the Vallejo area and got all voicemails. As it turned out, Anthony at Help-U-Plumb was the ONLY one to call us back, and it only took him about 10 minutes. A little over an hour later, he was there and getting down and dirty with our sink. My dad and Anthony chopped it up while he worked. My dad was impressed with the quality of supplies he had to replace our old, crappy pipes. Anthony said it would take him "a couple of hours" and within an hour and a half, he was done. He charged $95/hour, which is the normal going rate for work during the week, so I was stoked it wasn't jacked up for a Sunday. He was friendly, efficient, and even showed my dad a few tricks. I really appreciated his work and he is definitely our #1 guy when it comes to plumbing! Oh, and he has a fishing company too he told us to check out at youtube/helpufish!

I had a leak coming from the ceiling and I was mega-stressed about it, as I wasn't sure what was causing it, and I also didn't know whether to find a general contractor (to tear out ceiling and inspect) or find a plumber first. I saw that this business had great reviews and that Anthony did both plumbing and general contracting so it seemed like a good way to go. I'm glad I called Anthony. He was very eager to talk me through exactly what he was looking for and how he ruled out various problems. He said he liked to explain every step of his examination so his clients understood his reasoning and process and so they knew they were getting a solid value and no unnecessary repairs. In the end, he ended up finding a gnarly (but only intermittent) leak from one of my sinks. He replaced at a fair price and did a great job and even did extra sealing in the bathroom that wasn't part of the fix. He also gave me further advice on what other items should be addressed (due to the leak and other neglected items) but zero pressure to try and get them done now. I was very happy with the service provided!
