Mr Kevin Smith came out to my house today to do some upgrades and changes to our radiators/ boiler system. He was a delight, as was his team member Terrence. He came on short notice and gives me confidence that we found our “heating guy” and “plumbing guy” all in one. Really great experience from end to end with this local company
The Plumbing Smith is a fantastic company. I use them to service my clients and every single job I ask them to do turns out great! They are timely, efficient and their rates are very reasonable. Highly recommend them for all your plumbing needs.
A huge shout out to The Plumbing Smith, who came out today in 21° degree weather and fixed our sump pump to sewer pipe for $190 bucks. We dug the hole last week to make it easier for him, but Reed arrived early, cleaned up what I missed, redid the entire connection and was gone within 60 minutes. Trustworthy, punctual and good workmanship. Highly recommend
Do NOT hire him. I had already figured out the issue but he didn't want to listen to me until he saw it for himself after testing. That caused water to back up in the sewer pipes. The plumber Kevin Smith attempted to rod my main sewer line unsuccessfully. He created a mess of sewer water all over my garage and left it like that. He told me he thought 2 pipes were misaligned and 1 was sagging so I needed a camera to see into the pipes since he couldn't get his rod through. That was going to be an extra cost and he was going to have to come back with his "$10,000 camera" (another hourly charge too). Then he said he would have to cut into my garage floor concrete and dig down to get to the pipes, which was going to be $6000 - $7000!!! He cut into a sewer pipe in my basement capped 1 side and left the other side open. Which connected to a toilet and had sewage coming out onto my water heater, and plastic pipe bits he left all over. He left it dripping onto the water heater. Didn't clean it up after I asked him to. He and his assistant broke my light switch and water heater. He left a huge mess and didn't clean it up. I got another plumber to come out the next day. He was easily able to rod the sewer line to clear it, fixed the pipe Kevin cut, and told me Kevin was probably trying to scam me. I asked for a refund and Kevin kept talking over me and cutting me off. He did not fix my issues and caused further damage. He charges $150 hourly, $300 for main sewer rodding, and tried justifying due to his time. Do NOT hire him!
This is my 4th project using The Plumbing Smith and I just want to compliment both Reed and Kevin.Today I had a kitchen sink and a faucet installed. Reed was punctual and courteous and did an amazing job, he also took the the time to repair my outside faucet. The price was very reasonable, I'm very thankful to have such fantastic plumbers in our area...I would give them 6 stars if I could!!
