GOAT Plumbing is an awesome company and my Technician Peyton was the absolute best. He was knowledgeable and professional and he made sure to answer any questions we had. He kept us informed throughout the process and was always friendly and kind. Everything he said he would do he actually did. He kept his word. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better. I would recommend GOAT Plumbing to everyone.

I needed to replace my pretty old water heater (Insurance mandated) and got about three quotes for replacement on three different systems (tank-less, Essence, and traditional electric). The GOAT came in as the lowest bid for all three and Natalie (our bidder and installer, at separate times) was absolutely the most knowledgeable and professional of all three reps. We went with the Essency to get the benefits of tank-less like cost savings without having to up my breaker and change pipes. Natalie answered literally every question I had through the bidding and install processes and seriously helped me make the best decision of the options. Then she showed up and installed it. Not much to say about that except she was great at maneuvering though my crowded garage, completed a perfect and professional installation (expected, I know, but it is Florida...), and also handled disposal and cleanup so well, you'd never know she was there (except it's cleaner than the rest of my garage). All this and she took time to talk me about the uses and benefits of reciprocating saws. Straight 10/10. I could not be more satisfied with every step of this process.

I have never been more excited to give someone my money then I was today! I received astronomical quotes from other plumbing companies. With respect to their skill and expertise, they were trying to upcharge and take advantage of a possible client. I didn't have to deal with that with Pete from The Goat Plumbing. The initial phone call was clear and I was able to get an appointment that worked with my schedule. The company sends reminders and pictures of employees for safety. Pete came in with a great attitude and clear pricing. I was able to do three plumbing issues for a great price that was under what the the other companies priced for just two items. Not only was the work quality but Pete was constantly cleaning up after his work. In addition he didn't speak to me like I was ignorant. I knew what to do I just didn't want to do it, lol. He showed me the issues, advised on next steps to maintain and AGAIN....kept everything clean. Call the Goats and ask for Pete!

I feel significantly overcharged for this service. The technician replaced a small section of galvanized pipe (under $50 in material) and completed the job in less than 20 minutes, yet I was charged $700. I was told they would dig and review the condition of the pipes, but they only dug approximately 5 inches into the sand before stating everything looked great. This did not seem like a thorough inspection. For the amount of work performed and the limited time on site, the pricing felt unreasonable. I strongly suggest getting other estimates before moving forward with this company.

Goat plumbing co. Tampa gets a thumbs down! i was quoted a price of 299.00 then the Tech broke my pipe after trying to use a hammer, of all things, to loosen the nut. I recommended liquid wrench but he refused to try it. The result is I have no water to my house unless I pay another fee of 275.00 to break open the wall to fix the new leak that I believe the plumber caused! He also walked across my rugs many times, with his muddy shoes, after repeatedly going in and out of the yard while it was wet. This behavior seems to be endemic in the industry. Another plumbing company pulled the same scam on me. Use a camera and record everything.

In November 20 25. I called Company to have a diploma come out and give a quote for a tub in my batbroom . gave me a quote Labor and I would buy the supplies at Home Depot and he'll pick them up and bring them over to put them he told me he could take care of the tile and the the flooring, and the wall around the existing walls for the shower while he did not do the tiling behind the tub and left the top exposed to the outside walls of the mobile home. I found that out of much later they came over and apologize and sent a gentleman from Fort Myers. Read the first name of Kyle who I hope I haven't left put in a new stone with the walls to go with it's not level. The walls are all crooked. They he's for the plastic resident trim off the frosted window that looked into the tub and told me oh by the way, you need a second code of mud on the throw. All I put up and he didn't put the drywall all the way around and left me a mess. Left the window undone. Left the tub and done. Left the sub floors exposed. I called. Company and their manager. Chad told me on the side. I said I did not. He was a goat employee. He came to give me a quote as a goat he was here. I asked if you get replaced my busted up bathroom I was asking him as a goat employee. You're not as a private person I don't know the man from anywhere change the toilet, which was no big deal OK job. I'll give you that. Not not a great job. I'm not a good job. Just OK. He also stole two $500 Apple advances from me and a $50 cash advance from Apple. He told me he needed that. I find out after the fact here for the whole time except for the library last the goat company truck in and a company uniforms that he was expired. And he's done the same I put pictures of my yelp and I'm looking for them because it was horrifying. I had a Contractor who lives gonna become with it and he goes. This is horrible. They need to come make this right. I called the goat, plumbing, out sent Kyle put the tub in. Nothing is my shower all level. They just don't wanna take the time. He said we Don or and we don't walls around the unit and we also onto the window. Resident that rush. The window that looked and with part of the set up the shower set up. Well first plumber. Told said they did everything. Or I would never have agreed to this job. I'm 73 and I'm Social Security. My $4000 job is turned into a $10,000 out that I cannot afford. I live right in a 55+ community right on the water and we were two hurricanes in a row and I have been slowly digging my way out years. Trying to get my place for back together. It is my retirement help. I do not have homeowners insurance because they do not give them on mobile homes. My mobile home is basically brand just a chassis, the iron very strong. Was putting 8. I had to replace the water, vapor etc. etc. I'm a far away from being done. I want them to give me back with the money I gave them because I afford to them this kind of money. I found a wonderful man from my church who has a commerciompany and he sent guys over to work. They they did do a wonderful job .I want my money back from them and they will not give it back to me. Kyle mgr Goat Plumbing Co took my tub . He said I won't be able to get anything for it and a week later I get a phone call. Oh guess what? I can'give you $700 for your tub as they able to get it back from Home Depot for you.. I want rest of my moneys. Kyle from Fort Myers of goat, plumbing Company. The night. He left here. I had to write a check for $2000. I've had $ 2000 before but I wasn't sure if I gave them the extra 210 if i did not . I said I will go you $2000 because they know I'm very prompt about paying my bills . I want that Money back, they still have my money and I've had to pay another 1500 to the other company that did the job and fixing the disaster and I'm very upset about and he told me that night. When I said I will just send in the 210 into the company. He said if you don't write that check for $2210 tonight. I am going to tear out your bathroom. Everything I did. I should've let them do it. It would've done me a huge favor and I am very upset and I want justice Constance C

5/8/26 update: Nobody ever did follow up with me. I reached out again on Monday 4/13/26 and got no response. I do not recommend this company. Consumers beware. 4/14/26 update: I have to reduce it from a 3 to a 2. Owner never did reach out to speak to me about my negative experience. Terrible follow up. I want to add that I used these guys because they live or used to live in our community and advertise in here frequently. So I figured since it's a neighbor we would get great service all around. That didnt happen. The quote could have been much clearer and more specific. There was a misunderstanding on where we wanted the waterline run to for the hose bib. I wanted it in the back center of the house. And he brought materials for the side corner of the house and claimed that's what he quoted. I specifically said I wanted it at the back center of the house, so we could clean the the turf we're getting installed on both sides of the house. We needed it done quickly. Because the turf is being installed soon so he just installed it on the side corner instead. I wasn't aware of the fact I'd have to have the drywall repaired separately, paying extra myself. I even asked the lady regarding scheduling how soon the drywall people come and fix it. How quick they are, and she said usually pretty quick like next day. As he was finishing up, he said they don't do drywall, and I would have to have it done myself. I was surprised. Other than that they did a decent job. Communication definitely needs to be clearer. And it seemed pretty expensive to run a line approx. 20 feet.

Josh from GOAT Plumbing was just here to give me an estimate for installing a new RO system. He also very thoroughly checked all the other shut off valves, faucets, outside hose bibs, etc. Josh was extremely nixie, explained everything to me, and provided me with various options. I was very impressed with Josh on a number of levels and get the impression that the GOAT Plumbing Company is a good company to do business with. I was particularly pleased with how kind and receptive he was with my little dog Lilly, and includes 2 pictures for illustration. I haven’t decided yet what I can afford to do, but will definitely keep GOAT Plumbing and Josh in mind for my plumbing needs. Pete was here on 2/11/26 and did an excellent job repairing the leak coming from the pipe coming off the spigot on the back of the house. This job was under warranty because it was leaking from a previous plumbing repair that GOAT had done back in May. Pete is very experienced and extremely knowledgeable and explained everything to me. I wouldn’t hesitate to ask for Pete at GOAT Plumbing the next time I need a plumber here. Matt from GOAT Plumbing was here today 3/27/26 to evaluate and repair an outside spigot. He took care of the immediate issue, but will have to come back to do a lot more extensive work to completely resolve the issue. Matt has been here before and is very nice and knowledgeable. However, as always, I do think that GOAT charges way too much.

Replaced a hot water heater. Paid for a permit but they never applied for it and did not return any of the 3 messages I left about it over the course of 3 weeks. If they can't handle a minor issue like this, I would not trust them with more extensive work. Southwest Florida has hundreds of plumbing companies, I suggest looking for another one. Update - On 12/9 I called the company and let them know I still have not received a response. I was told a manager (Chad?) would call me back that day or the following day. Of course, no one ever called me. On that same day, I wrote a Yelp review, noting my experience, the owner replied immediately and requested I call him. I called him right away and left a voicemail and on 12/10 I sent a text to the owner that showed "delivered". No surprise, as of 12/12 no one has ever called me about the issue. I will just dispute the charge with my credit card company. I'll also make a Google account and leave a review on there. Again, although the quick response from the owner appears to show their sincere interest in addressing the issue, the lack of any attempted communication or a reply on their part, shows that this company still has problems. I still suggest anyone reading this find another plumbing company, this place is refusing to agree to their contractual obligation, I'm amazed they are refusing to resolve such a minor issue. Thank you

In September 2025, I requested a quote to repair a leak outside my home. Their tech acted as if the leak was one of the worst he’d ever seen and quoted a “small” $1335 repair or, more likely, a bigger $6060 repair. In both scenarios, they were digging up parts of my yard that weren’t involved in the leak. The tech had me believing this was dire, the scope of necessary work was massive, and I needed to sign the estimate so they could get working immediately. Thankfully I had 2 other quotes lined up for that day, both around $400, and neither instilled fear. At the time, I considered leaving a review about the GOAT’s dishonest visit but decided against it since I hadn’t officially worked with them. Fast forward to yesterday when someone in a local facebook group asked about experiences with GOAT Plumbing. I shared my experience, including the $6000, and recommended the company I ended up using. The GOAT owner replied saying he was looking at my estimate and it was only $1200. He also said the job needed a permit, but when I checked the GOAT’s line items, a permit wasn’t listed. I honestly question whether the true repair needed a permit, or if the original tech oversold the job so much their system shows it needed a permit. Between the tech and online experience with the owner, I wouldn’t trust this company.

I noticed our water bill kept increasing monthly. The meter indicated a slow leak in the main water line between it and the house. I did research online and picked out a couple plumbing companies that appeared to have good reviews, were smaller independent businesses and local. I planned to get 2 or 3 estimates. The GOAT Plumbing Company was the first to come on a Friday afternoon about 5:00 for an estimate. Josh Simpson answered all my many questions and was very kind and helpful. I felt I could trust him but I insisted I should get another estimate. Josh had another call to go to but he called his supervisor. He told me he would be willing to repair it himself right now (almost 6PM Friday). I’m so glad I had him repair the pipe. When he was done the yard looked perfect again. I’m pretty picky about the people we hire but doing some research and asking questions have served us well over the years. The GOAT is now our go to plumber. I hope Josh keeps working there because he was an excellent representative for the company and a very good plumber.

Paid $500 to be left with a hole in my wall. Beware!! Tried resolving this privately but got no response from the owner, the situation is too ridiculous not to share. I called this company for a recurring washer drain clog. Their tech was friendly, but the entire service ended up being a chain of misdiagnoses and upsells: First diagnosis: "It's the P-trap." Cost: $650. Didn't fix anything. Second diagnosis: "It's ventilation. A Studor vent will fix it 99% sure." Cost: $850. They cut open my wall, tested it, STILL didn't fix anything. Only after all that did they finally run a camera and claim the pipe was "collapsed." At that point, I was charged $500 to stop the job, and they left me with: A hole in the wall A cut, exposed pipe An unfinished repair Zero documentation of the alleged collapsed line And the exact same problem I originally called them for This all could have been prevented if they had done a proper camera inspection BEFORE cutting into my wall and installing parts I didn't need.

I had a bad experience with this company. I accidentally knocked over my neighbors back flow valve and it was gushing water out of the ground. It was later in the evening so I assured my elderly neighbor that I would have a plumber out first thing in the morning to make the repair. She was ok with having no water to her home until then. My regular plumber who had fixed my broken back flow valve twice for $200 in the last year was booked all day. So I called around and The Goat plumber said they could be there in less than an hour. I was at work so I didn’t have time to deal with getting multiple estimates and I knew is was a relatively inexpensive repair. They charged me $975 for a one hour job. No parts on the invoice just labor. I will not use them in the future as I know they took advantage of my situation and price gouged me. If the guy in the picture shows up to your house be prepared to skip your next mortgage payment.

Had a clogged kitchen sink. First thing I did of course, was try a plunger...no luck, Got my 25' snake out and tried to snake the drain myself. Got a little, but no luck. Time to call a plumber. Hmm,...so many choices. Let's try The G.O.A.T. and see if they live up to the name. Well, '"Beedy" came out (Nickname) and we determined the clog was at around 30'. My snake was just a little too short. (yeah, let the jokes commence) ;) He did a great job and also cleared one of our bathroom sinks. Determined we needed to replace the old, rusted out pop up drain assembly as well. All in all, GREAT job! Prompt, personable, polite, knowledgeable, and, for the peace of mind of a job well done, the price was within reason, expected, and worth it. "All time"? well, time is a constraint created by Man and is always progressing so...Let's just say they did a GREAT job, and you won't be disappointed! Call The GOAT.

We are revising our 3-star review from 08/19/24 and jumping it to 5-stars . Alex the owner of The Goat Plumbing Co. has stepped up to the plate with complete ownership of the communications mix-up which at the time cost us as a potential customer a great deal of inconvenience involving a second plumbing company. Alex paid for the plumbing service we received from this other company, even though we did not ask him to do so. It was a completely voluntary offer on his part, and most unexpected. As a result of his superb customer service we will be contacting him in the future for any plumbing services we may require. We make it a rule to engage with start-up companies and Alex has demonstrated to us that his is willing to go the extra mile in consideration of his customers and their plumbing inconveniences and solutions. THAT is the mark of a true professional. Thank you, Alex!
