We have been dealing with JF Maxwell (now Swift Brothers) for nearly 10 years. Their service has been excellent. All of their technicians have been great especially Jeramy who always does an outstanding job. He is always very personable and professional. He takes the time to explain everything in terms I can understand and he is always very efficient and timely. I am very satisfied with Swift Brothers service!! JAck
We had a furnace system go out at a short term rental house in Georgia. Jeremy was able to diagnose the issue with the heating system and offer a solution. He sent pictures to us so we could see the unit, and he was available for a phone call when we had additional questions. Pascoual did the installation on the next business day (as I understand ). He was also nice enough to call and let me know it was completed , so we could inform our next guests. Excellent customer service.
Heater on HVAC was turning on and off. Called Swift Brothers and they (Jim) immediately came out. Jim located the potential issue and it was quickly resolved. Very appreciative of the service provided. 12/30/25 update: We have a very old system and it finally went. Jeremy came out and gave a very detailed explanation of what unit was best for our home. Service was immediate and very responsive. Excellent service!
I wish I could go back in time and never call Swift Bros Plumbing-Heating-Air in Jasper, GA. What a disgusting, greedy, straight-up criminal outfit pretending to be a legit HVAC company. I’m furious and I’m not sugarcoating a damn thing. They are flat-out scamming customers on every warranty claim. When equipment fails under the manufacturer’s warranty, these crooks quietly pocket the rebate check from the factory, then turn around and bill YOU the full price like it never happened. I saw it with my own eyes—parts that should’ve been 100% free suddenly get wrapped into "Labor cost" Pure theft. And their Freon scam is next-level dirty. They suck the refrigerant out of your old system in some cases (TXV valve replacement in my case), ship it off to get “cleaned and dried,”They then charge you for "FRESH" freon. THEY get a manufacturer rebate when they send your "OLD" freon off to be "Cleaned and Dried", Meanwhile they’re charging the next customer full price for the exact same gas they just recycled and got paid twice for. Double-dipping on your dime while laughing all the way to the bank. Their so-called “warranty” is complete and total garbage. They don’t honor one single thing. Everything gets shoved into “labor costs” so they can rip you off without mercy. They wanted over $2,000 for THREE HOURS of work (Mind you all parts were covered under the manufacture warranty). They take your "warrantied" parts that you paid for and send them back to the manufacture to get a rebate also on them. They never give the customer a single cent of any of the money from any of these rebates, even though the parts are literally belong to the home owner and so therfore does the rebate. Swift Bros Plumbing-Heating-Air is a predatory, dishonest, money-grabbing scam that preys on regular homeowners who just need their heat or air working. They lie, they cheat, they steal rebates that belong to you, and they hide behind worthless warranties and insane labor gouging. If you live in Jasper, Ellijay or anywhere nearby, run the other way. Tell every neighbor, every friend, every family member: do not give these crooks a single dime. There are honest HVAC companies out there—Swift Bros is NOT one of them. Stay far away. You’ve been warned.
Water heater temp keeps changing. Only 3.5 years old, but have been having issues from day 1. Rheem 50 gal gas heater. Estimate only. Service tech was nice guy!
