Went with Superior to install two faucets. Booking was easy and they were able to get me scheduled right away. They also listened to my directions and arrived precisely on time. My plumbers--Andrew and Damon--were professional and up front with pricing. They did a terrific job with the installation and it was completed very quickly.

Ronnie was excellent. He was Professional and did a great job. He was kind and knew what he was doing. Loved that he had everything he needed on the truck and got it all done in one day. Great service. Loved that I called yesterday and was able to get an appt and he even got here early. He took his time and knew what he was doing. He explained everything in detail. I’m was happy that I got it fixed right.

Superior plumbing was fantastic from start to finish. 1) No issues with required COI. 2) Easy and quick appointment scheduling. 3) Great communication from both the home office and texting about technician arrival. 4) Kyle was a great plumber who fixed our issue quickly, quietly, and thoroughly. He was very friendly and helpful including great tips to prevent the issue from happening again.

I have been utilizing Superior for 8 years and have spent over$6,000! Today 12-17-2016 I had a good leak in my basement at one of the outgoing lines from my tankless water heater that Superior installed in 2008, which they did an excellent job! When I called today the scheduler checked by records but I was told I could not be serviced until 12-20-2016, I told her that I did not have water I was told the earliest would be 12-19-2016! I was not satisfied but scheduled it for that date! I could have had a convalescing family member relying on water but was never asked about by circumstances the scheduler was only concerned about Superior! I am sure with a Little effort their work load could have been rearranged to accommodate me as a long standing customer who have spent over $6000 from 2008 through 2015! I am not complaining about their work only their loyalty! I called another well known plumbing company and they came out within the hour. I cancelled my appointment with Superior!

We have used Superior Plumbing for over 10 years on at least 5 different occasions. In May 2012 we had sewage backup in downstairs tub and toilet. Superior came out, replaced wax ring under toilet and unclogged drain, used camera to show us stoppage. They charged us $680. My husband questioned the cost, but was shown several prices in print and was told - that's the price. It's now Dec. 2012 and the same thing occurred. We heard that Mr. Plumber charges $93 to unclog a drain w/ free camera views. Called to see if Superior would match that price or if our previous service was under a year's warranty. They told us no on both. Mr. Plumber came out on a Sunday, did the exact same repair - unclogged the main sewer line, removed toilet and replaced wax ring, even cleaned up the bathroom when they left. Our charge this time for exact same repair - $193 ($100 to remove/replace toilet). What a nice repairman from Mr. Plumber, too! We've found our "go-to" plumber for all occasions now.

THEY ARE THE BEST PLUMBERS, GO TO THEM!!! first off, their customer service is excellent, people pick up on the first ring, and second ring, who does that?! they listen to your problems, and then instruct you to have the kind of the appointment you need, and they really really try hard to get the people out as soon as they can. i called them back right after the leak detection was done at my house, the lady first told me it was all booked up, then i told her the detection guy had drilled holes on my slab, and i can't really leave it open like that with a leak under. she put me on hold for couple minutes, came back told me that she was able to send a guy out to my house within the next 3 hours as an emergency call. I had total of two plumbers came out, but not at the same time, because the problem was so complicated. the first one i had was very nice, patient, and hard working. he literally laid on my floor, tried to fix the leak on my beat up copper pipe from 5pm to 10pm!!!! he didn't ask for water, a tissue, or anything during this entire time until i offered. my pipe was one of the difficult fixes according to him, it was under the slab, between two other pipes, and a waste line, with leaked water around, in order to get the water dry out from inside the pipe, he went in and out multiple times to blow into the garden holes faucet himself in the cold!!! hoping the water would be forced out that way. unfortunately, before he was able to fix this one leak, my severely damaged piped had already burst out another tiny hole next to the first leak!!! we then decided to call it for the night, but he offered to come back early in the morning the next day, and tried to fix it even more. He came back the next morning around 8am to try to fix the pipe from the night before, yet i had already decided that the pipe was in such poor condition which it would have saved me more money to re plumbed the house instead. He then agreed with me. He signed off on my bill, told me that my dispatch fee will be charged to the next plumber since this would considered as one job, then he told me that even though he had worked for so long the previous night, but he somehow didn't get the problem solved, so he wasn't going to charge me anything!!! i was very satisfied with how professional they company is, and their plumbers are!!! they really make me feel that i'm in such a good hand, who i can trust competely!!! I then called to have the second plumber come out, which he was an expert on service, and re piping water lines for houses. he came out around 11am, not too long after i called, looked around my house, discussed couple of ideas with me, we then agreed on an idea and it's price. he was able to get the work started right away!!! it just seemed like he had all the tools and parts in the world to do the job, he did have to go out to the shop to get some pipes (pvc and copper), but he returned very quickly. he cut up couple of places on my ceiling and on the drywalls since we were re piping it throw the attic, in neatly squares because he told me it would be easy for me to patch up later. keep in mind they are plumbers, so they would not patch up walls for you, filling the floor is extra charge too, so i offered to do the filling myself also. he was crawling through my attic, back and forth many times to get the pipe positioned right, and sealed correctly he then even secure them onto the side for me, so it was very easy to get to, exam, or clean later. he used copper links also, which needs to be torched up and seal properly, this guy got all the places sealed up, and right on the first try!!!! the connections between pipes were designed very smartly by him, he was very quick and good at what he does, he was able to have all the pipes connected, and torched up in a very tiny space under one of my tubs. i'm not a professional to describe exactly what they have done for me and my house, but i tried to write as much in details above to let you all know that i have dealt with many plumbers before, and i know only a good, and experienced can, and able to get the work done, and correctly done. this company is the place to go, they have the best group of people you can possibly ask for to fix your stuff!!! btw, i feel the price was very reasonable since the first guy didn't charge me anything for the first day at all with all the time n work he did do, i was charged total of 3000 dollars to re piping a whole section of my house on the second day. you can also go print out the coupons on their websites. good luck!!!

If I could rate them zero stars I would. I called Superior plumbing to replace the toilet in my master bathroom as the old toilet was 19 years old and leaking at the bottom near the tile floor and bolts rusted out due to old age. When the plumber arrived ( Beau B.) he did not put on the shoe coverings/ booties, and I had to ask him to put them over his boots. I have over $10k worth of brand new carpet and hard wood floors in my home and I did not want him tracking his boots all over my brand new flooring. He had to go back out to his truck to get the shoe coverings and he slammed my front door so hard that my entire house shook, so he was mad from the beginning. Upon looking at my toilet he advised I would need a new toilet. I asked if the work could be done the same day because when I called to make the appointment the person on the phone I spoke to (Moe) advised the plumbers arrive with toilets in the truck and are able to complete the work same day. The plumber (Beau B.) very rudely and gruffly said "No, I ain't waiting around here for an hour while you go and buy a toilet and come back." I immediately told him he did not need to speak to me in that manner and that I was asking a simple question because the person on the phone advised the work could be done the same day. He then tried to back peddle and say he was not being rude because he knew I was going to complain. Also, the price he quoted me was double the price that 3 other licensed, insured, master plumbers have quoted me to install a new toilet. After he left I called Superior customer service to file a complaint and asked for a manager to call me back. After 48 hours no manager called me back. I then called back again and cancelled then install with Superior and they wanted to charge me the $62.50 dispatch fee which I refused to pay due to the poor experience I had with the plumber and the way I was treated and the fact that a manager could not call me back after 48 hours. I had to demand to speak to a manager and finally they put a manager on the phone. He never apologized or took responsibility for the behavior of his employee. He never said sorry. Finally after a very heated conversation he agreed to waive the $62.50 dispatch fee. I will NEVER use Superior again and I will tell everyone I know never to use them. They do not have superior customer service and they do not stand behind their work and promises made on their website. Their prices are sky high, double what other licensed master plumbers charge. Do your homework and get several quotes from other plumbers and find yourself another quality plumber and save yourself over 50% of what Superior is charging. They should be ashamed of the prices they are charging people, clearly taking advantage of people.

Waited more than one year to make certain not to overreact. But, being a business owner for more than 35 years myself, honesty and integrity are first and foremost. They're the "educated plumber" all right....educated in misdiagnosing the problems and then fleecing the customer.... In May of 2014, we had a problem with sewage backing up into our basement. Fortunately, it was a tiny bit but we certainly didn't want it to get worse. So we called "The Educated Plumbers". They send one of their "supervisors", Jimmy, to our home. He immediately tells us that the problems is two 20 years old magnolia trees have sunk their roots into the drain going to the sewer line on West Paces Ferry. They will need to bring in a backhoe, etc. to get to the line as it is over 15 feet below the surface. AND, we will need to have the magnolias removed in order for them to get the equipment in. What was really interesting at the time was Jimmy taking a leaf of the trees, biting into the leaves and saying that he "could taste the stuff" the trees were pulling from the sewer line in the leaves. There was his proof of the blockage. Being in a panic to get the line repaired BEFORE there was major backup in our home, we had to contact the city for permission to remove the trees and then get a tree service to remove them. The tree service costs about $1,000. And, Superior had quoted us about $3000 to do all of the work. We paid them roughly $750 (later refunded) for them to run a sewer camera, etc. in advance of the beginning of the work... Without going into a lot of additional detail, suffice it to say that when I mentioned the situation to a friend in the commercial real estate business, I was told 1) Magnolia trees have roots that spread BUT DO NOT GO BELOW 3-5 FEET in Depth. Obviously, that could not have been the problem. 2) Superior really did not have any idea of the issue since their diagnosis using the "sewer-cam" did not show any blockage. 3) My friend recommended another plumber who came to the home, looked at the situation, and then OPENED TWO OF THE MANHOLE COVERS ON OUR STRRET IN BUCKHEAD AND FOUND THE MAIN SEWER LINE UNDER THE STREET WAS THE PROBLEM!!! He called the City of Atlanta. They send a truck and "push the blockage through" and everything has been fine ever since!! Superior did refund the deposit I paid but refused to reimburse me for the tree removal or for the expense to replace the trees a required by the City... These guys are seriously only interested in your money, not your satisfaction..

Issue - Leaking Pressure Reduction Valve, which is typically found near the main water line to reduce the water pressure to a more "digestible" rate for servicing the interior plumbing fixtures. Since this was a unique part, with a few not-so-straightforward connections, I didn't want to experiment trying fix it myself. Unfortunately, I did not have a plumber in mind at the time and needed to get the drip fixed as soon as possible. Referencing the area commercials I did some online "window" shopping, and given the Superior website was slightly more user-friendly and helpful, I contacted them to arrange a service call. On the day of, the plumber/technician was running behind for the given service window and the dispatcher called to confirm the adjusted time - all very reasonable. Upon arrival the technician introduced himself, took down some basic information and began his assessment. Nothing shocking about the required work, however, at $485 the price certainly was. Unfortunately, most established service companies have set pricing for a given service much like an auto mechanic or Doctor does, so getting understanding of what goes into the pricing isn't always clear. While the price wasn't grossly obscene I didn't feel it was a great value - retail, the parts go for $55 PRV and $18 shut-off valve. Work effort took him about 2 hours total from setup to clean-up. At completion the job was well-done, but again it pays to look around before you really need to have a service call. If you can find a reliable and highly recommended independent plumber they might be your best bet and perhaps a little more flexible in pricing, saving you probably 30% or more. What added insult to the cost was that Superior keeps the service call price - cost of providing an onsite visit and quote, in the billing even after you agree to the accept the work, $37.50 - shouldn't that be factored into the job-quote already!? One other pricing reference, I had asked about possibly replacing my hot water heater - standard 40 gallon, gas unit plus an expansion tank (part of the newer code) $1450, a new retail water heater goes for $350 - $400 and expansion tank $50-60, so they would easily be charging $1000 in labor alone. Overall, the work will get done to specification in a timely manner - great for piece of mind and if you are willing to accept the premium that goes along without researching and pulling multiple quotes. So for service they get 5 stars and price/value 2.5.

We called Superior out to a water leak coming through our floor last Saturday. When the plumber came, I told him we also had a roof leak and showed him a water spot on the ceiling. I asked if the two could be related and he said, "no". He cut 3 holes in our wall and could not find leak - he got in attic and said the water on the floor must be from the roof leak - charged us $400. 4 days later our entire ceiling was covered in water dripping through ceiling onto the bed below. The roofer replacing our roof that day got in our attic and said there was indeed a pipe leak and that the attic was covered in water. We called the same plumber back out - He said it would be almost another $400 to repair the pipe that was leaking - We said we already paid $400 three days earlier for them to tell us there was no leak - his response was, "well I didn't fix anything, now I have to charge you to fix it". I stated that he told us there was NO LEAK when we paid him $400 three days earlier and now we have significant damage. His response was, "well that's not my fault". He asked if I saw the leak when I was in the attic and I told him that I did not climb over the rafters to look at the plumbing and that I paid HIM to do that. We called the office and asked to speak to a manager - they said we had to request this with the plumber. I told them that we had a disagreement with the plumber and that we were not confident that he would have a manager contact us. I told the plumber multiple times that I wanted him to have a manager call me and he kept asking me why. Before the plumber left, my husband made sure that he knew we wanted to speak to a manager. After he left, I filled out the online contact form to have someone contact us - The woman (Erica) responded to my request that I was not present at the house at the time the plumber was there on the second day and that they would only speak to my husband that was there - She said they had not heard from my husband that he wanted to speak to a manager. That same day, my husband followed up with the email and told her that he DID in fact tell the plumber multiple times that he wanted to speak to a manager and that he was requesting AGAIN to have someone call him. She responded that he would hear from someone in 48-72 hours. Tomorrow will be day 5 and we have YET to hear from a manager!! TERRIBLE customer service - rude dispatchers - questionable ethics - WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ! ! !

I had 3 issues to resolve -- the "lift and turn" drain cover needed to be replaced for the bathroom tub, the "pop-up" needed to be reattached for one of the bathroom sinks, and an entire "pop-up assembly" needed to be installed in the other bathroom sink. The plumber arrived about 30 minutes early, which was nice. For the first project, he had to use a hacksaw to create a groove into which he could put a wedge and, using a hammer on the wedge, screwed out the lift-and-turn. The original lift-and-turn was so old and corroded (and locked in) that that was needed. He did a good job -- it came out with no damage to the tub and the new lift-and-turn looks very nice. For the second project, he successfully reattached the pop-up. He had to try several approaches to make the reattachment, and I commend him for sticking with it until a workable solution was reached. He spent a good half-hour diligently working on this and it works fine now. For the third project, a more straighforward one, he simply installed the pop-up assembly. It looks and works fine. The only complaint I have about this is that the rod that governs whether the pop-up is up or down sticks out a little high, even when the pop-up is up. Most such rods are almost all the way in the faucet assembly until the pop-up is closed. I didn't notice this until he left, but to me this is a minor flaw with which I can live. Overall, I am satisfied with the service. The price seemed high to me, but I must confess I did not comparison shop beforehand so I can't say for sure. The prices of each project are as follows: Remove old / Install new lift-and-turn $187.33 (plumber supplied the new lift-and-turn) Reattach pop-up in bathroom sink FREE (This was nice, he spent 30 minutes doing this project) Install pop-Up assembly in bathroom $249.35 sink Dispatch Fee $27.50 Total Bill $464.18 Like I say, this amount seemed high to me but I did not comparison shop beforehand to know one way or the other, and he did spend almost 2 hours here and the work was good. Next time, though, I'll comparison-shop before making a choice of contractors for this kind of work.

Our experience with Superior Plumbing spans two different houses and multiple different plumbing needs (including having a new gas line installed for a gas grill) and we've been extremely satisfied each time. Today's experience is yet another example of their great service and focus on the customer. We've been in our current home for less than three years and woke up this morning to an active leak coming from the floor above through the ceiling of our kitchen/living area. With a new-build home less than three years old, the first call was to the builder's warranty department and we got the "call the company that did the plumbing during construction" brush off. I called that company and they were quick to tell me that A) they don't make service calls and B) their work was only warranted for two years. Seems to me that you can warrant parts for a limited time but a business who stands behind their work would warrant it much longer...but I digress. Pursuing this with the construction plumber or the builder was getting me nowhere, so I called Superior. They took my information, checked the calendar and had a licensed plumber at my house within two hours. In addition, I received an email with the name and photo of both the contact I spoke to at their office and the plumber that was headed to my home. I LOVE that... Jason H arrived quickly, listened to the details and did a careful eval of the guest bath area, laundry room and master bath. He isolated and corrected the most probable cause of the leak: a poorly seated/poorly sealed master shower drain. He reseated and resealed the drain, ran the shower for several minutes to test for the leak. No leak. Success!! I not only appreciate the resolution to the problem, I appreciate how truly helpful and just plain nice everyone is - Jay, working in their office took my call and got the ball rolling and Jason H, who was cheerful, professional and absolutely customer focused. Their prices are absolutely fair, especially in an emergency situation. While I believe the problem is now fixed, water leaks are tricky - but if any more show up, I'm wasting no time with anyone else. I'll call Superior.

I wish had looked these guys up on Yelp prior to calling. A few months ago, we moved into a new house and I needed a shut off valve installed for a new dryer pronto. The price was outrages but with everything else I had to deal with moving into a new house and not liking to mess with gas and needing to wash my clothes, and I figured for that price, it would at least be done right. I told the guy where the gas enters the house and he stated he wouldn't need to mess with that. I told him I didn't want the whole house smelling like gas. 'It won't' he said. Ten minutes later I walk downstair and am hit in the face by the smell of gas. In his defense the gas detector in the next room did not go off and the smell dissipated after 30 minute or so, so I am sure it was safe whatever he did. I found that the cut off valve had extended the pipe to the point where now the dryer has barely enough room to open its door, he could have mentioned that maybe given some alternatives prior to install, but he did not. Then he messed with the ventilation duct a minute, got it attached but still a mess, called me over and said 'I want to point this out to you, you might to do something about this duct'. And then I found out the price he quoted didn't include the 40$ trip charge. Next he insisted on quoting me for a new hot water heater while he was there, and stood there trying to scare my wife the the thing is about to blow up its so old, and quoted a price that was 50% higher than the Home Depot charges for their most expensive, higher capacity, internet enabled water heater installed. So now I am stuck with dryer in an awkward place and it only cost almost as much as the dryer itself to get the cut off valve installed. So much for getting it done right. Two stars instead of one because they did respond within a few hours of calling, and their has been no leaks or gas smells in the few months it has been installed.

I didn't know how many stars to give because the guy that did the work was good, it was his boss that was 1 star. Here is the scoop. We are renters. Had high water bills suddenly. Had to get the landlord to schedule someone to detect the leak. It was an underground leak from the meter to the house. Once the leak was detected, the landlord scheduled Superior Plumbing to fix it. The plumber had a deep hole dug next to the driveway. He was under the assumption we were the homeowners. I went out and asked him if he already had payment info from my landlord and he said no. He then called his office but afterwards he went back to work so assumed he had the payment issue resolved. He did work hard and long on the issue and resolved it. However when he was done, he told us he could not reach the landlord to get payment info. He asked if I would call the landlord. I did and just got voice mail. He put me on the phone with his boss who was very angry the landlord was not answering his phone and proceeded to say the 3 of us, my boyfriend, landlord and me were in collusion to rip them off. His boss was saying "This guy worked 12 hrs and he is not going to get paid!" (That would be the guys ENTIRE work day--he was at our place for a few hours) He was saying we just were so wrong for this guy not getting paid. Like I could magically get in touch with the landlord! So he said he was going to have the guy dig up the ground again and cut the pipe totally and we would have NO water! OR just take the meter! (We had water before he did the repair--just was leaking causing a high water bill) But they were going to leave us with NO water! That would be uninhabitable conditions! It was getting dark and I just wanted this to be over so I paid the guy myself. I still never received an apology when the landlord did call them the next morning and paid.

If I could give this place zero stars, that number would be too many. STAY AWAY from this business!!! They are in it to make a quick $79.50 regardless if they do the job or not, and they always bank on the NOT part. I should have followed my first mind when I cancelled the initial appointment when the rep told me about the $79.50 just to take a look at the job. I asked for a ballpark price to reconnect two faucets, but she claimed she did not know because it could take more labor and there could be other issues. However, when their tech came to my home, Jason had a large IPAD with every price point the company has to offer to the tune of $2,000 just to reconnect two faucets after I had some countertops installed!!!??? Why? Because EVERYTHING is either missing or wrong when it was all working properly and just fine a day and a half ago. When I told Jason to forget it and let me square the bill, he stated he would be right back. I assumed he was going to place his materials in the truck and bring me the invoice. After about ten minutes, I decided to go outside only to discover Jason coming from my backyard. He looked guilty and nervous when I asked him what was he doing. He claimed he was checking the water pressure. He made no mention to me that was his intention prior to leaving and I did not ask him to do this. After checking my security cameras, it is still inconclusive as to exactly what he was doing back there. But at least it is recorded if something goes awry! This business is feeling a little sleazy to me. I caution you to think more than twice! I found this company on TrustDale, but now, I am second guessing Dale too. All I can do is appeal to my fellow Yelpers. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!
