These Brothers Rock! Very professional job very well done in Sun Meadows! California will NOT have gas water heaters in 2030. They currently have rebates and your electric wiring is done INCLUDED in the price. Now is the time to act! But I stuck with gas while still available.

We had a plumbing emergency on a weekend and Super Brothers sent a plumber out very quickly to help us out. He was able to repair a vintage faucet and stop a serious leak within 1/2 hour of arriving. Excellent!

Mike picked up the toilet at the plumbing supply store where we bought it and brought it to our house on time. As I watched him remove the old toilet and clean up as he went, I knew that he is a man of integrity. His workmanship was spot-on, as he leveled the toilet and made it rock-solid-a detail which the former installer completely missed-the old toilet rocked like grandma’s rocking chair. After the toilet was installed and tested for leaks, he meticulously caulked it and made it look as beautiful as a toilet can look. Then he cleaned up the floor, loaded the old toilet in his van and left. I am a lifetime customer of Super Brothers Plumbing. They have completed large and smaller jobs at our home-always with true professionalism and excellent workmanship.

We had Super Brothers replumb our house and put in HVAC ~5 years ago. We started having trouble with our furnace and had them come out. We paid $250 and they said it was fixed. A day later, it was not working. They came back and quoted us $1050 on a system that is under parts warranty. I asked what they're charging for labor and they said it's by the job. I got someone else to do it and they charged $500. They also noted that Super Brothers had not included a shutoff switch when they did the install and did not place it on a slope. Neither are against code, but it's not what they'd recommend AND we had rust forming due to these issues. I regret having them do the original work and am not happy that they charged us for a fix that did nothing and then wanted to take advantage once the proper diagnosis came in by charging us 2x what we were quoted (and 2x what Google says is normal.) Bummer all around.

SuperBrother Plumbing did a whole house re-pipe of our home about almost 3 years ago. My wife and I were recently reminiscing about some of the work we have had done to our old house and realized we both thought the other put in the review for this company. I documented the experience, so here is our experience with this company. First, let me say, the project manager for this company, Mike, was useless, impossible to get a hold of, and I felt could have cared less for the quality of work they did. He almost never returned a call, and when he did, it was because I left several messages. Secondly, the two guys they sent over, Serge, and I forget the other guy's name, had very little experience. They were not licensed plumbers and were working under someone else's license. Serge spoke very little English, and the other gentleman spoke none. It was very difficult to communicate with them. I was able to communicate a little bit with Serge, but mostly pointing at things and using a lot of gestures. The only reason I went with this company is because I had gotten a quote from the company a year before. Apparently, from what others had told me, the owners that had given me the quote sold the business not long after. The second night of the install, I was up late working in my office, which is on the opposite side of the bathroom where the pipes were installed into. About midnight, one of the caps they installed temporarily broke the solder, and water started flooding our wooden floors. Thank God I was up or it would have been a disaster. I called Mike, the project manager, the next day and got no response. I called again twice more before I could get a response the next afternoon. He said he was sorry and thanked me for cleaning it up. I live in an old house, so there were ground wires throughout the walls and connected to the water pipes. As they were installing, I noticed they had removed the grounds and had not put the grounds back in. I had to go through pictures and test wiring to figure out where the grounds were that they had removed, and double check to make sure they put them in correctly. I was not going to put sheetrock up without checking this first. What a nightmare that would have been. They made unnecessary cuts in drywall causing more work than necessary. They installed an ice maker outlet box in the kitchen wall. For some unknown reason, they cut the opposite side of the wall. When I asked them why the cut the hole on that side, they had no clue. It was very difficult to communicate with them as it was. I tried again to contact Mike, the project manager, but couldn't get a call back. Ran piping into crawlspace instead of walls. When I asked the inspector if that was normal, he said no, but because it was in a crawlspace, it was permittable. When they were finished, I went around and checked that they did everything they contracted to do and found they had missed installing a hose bib. Turns out, the other guy forgot to install that line. I called Mike a few times and when I got a hold of him, he had them go back and correct it. When they did so, they cut a hole in the wrong location in the stucco, having then to cut another hole next to the first. To repair the hole, they sent someone that had no idea how to repair. I tried to explain to the person how it is supposed to be repaired, but he understood no English. He called his office and went to Home Depot and came back with an even less desirable solution. I finally agreed to do it myself for a couple hundred off the bill. I wanted to make sure it got done correctly. They ran the cold-water pipe to the hot side and the hot water pipe to the cold side in the upstairs shower. I did not notice until my shower installers had finished. I was not going to tear out my new shower to fix it. They used the cheapest valves money can buy. Of the 11 valves installed indoors, 5 leaked when the water is turned off. As it was, 2 went bad within a week of them finishing installation and we had to have them come back and replace them. They used super cheap zinc plated hose bib back flow preventers. This is simple plumbing 101. When using copper pipe, you always use brass. I replaced them with brass 4 or 5 months later, and they were already corroding. I missed one and a year later, it was so corroded, I could barely get it off. They used super cheap insulation. The inspector recommended I request them to put zip ties on the insulation because he said it looked cheap and would come apart. I called Mike and he refused, saying the insulation was glue together and would last. It didn't. This company is, in my opinion, shady, provides very poor quality of service, and was one of the worst companies that I have worked with, especially with regards to their responsiveness to the customer. I do have to give credit to Serge though. He tried his best and was doing the best he knew how. He was the only positive in my experience with this company.

Having a water heater break can be a very frustrating experience, especially when it floods the area where it's installed. You take that opportunity to explore all of your options on how to proceed, but also note that you need to have it done as soon as possible because having a house without any running hot water is a very difficult thing. That's where Super Brothers Plumbing comes in. We tried to balance out our needs versus our wants for future proofing our home, while trying to make things efficient and long lasting. Along with taking into consideration costs, usage, and longevity, we were unsure whether we wanted to just swap out the existing broken water heater for another 40 gallon tank or try a more efficient tankless water heater. Super Brothers contacted me towards the late afternoon on a Wednesday and understandably were not able to come out to look until the following day. The following day, the Super Brothers technician came well within their estimated appointment window, took a look at the area, the surrounding infrastructure, and was able to provide all of the information for us to make an information decision, whether were to go tankless or do a tank swap out. The tech provided information and details of what would need to be done, where he would need to do some work, and how long it would take. For only providing an estimate and observations of work needs, it was a solid experience in that we were able to get all of our questions answered and relatively quickly. By this point, this was our sixth estimate obtained as we were doing our diligence before embarking on house work that we were expecting to last a long time. Needless to say, we were happy with the attentiveness and willingness to work with us on cost and answer any questions we had throughout the process so that we decided to go with a tankless water heater install. Kathy in the front office was a great person to work with. She got us scheduled quickly for work to begin within a couple days after the initial estimate. She got us all setup, answered follow up questions, even had a tech come back out and check our water lines when we were unsure if the heater was heating up water properly. Kathy got our inspections setup and completed timely as well. As for the install itself, Mike and Sean were both great techs to work with. They were fast and efficient. Answered any questions we had as we curiously observed the work being done. The tankless install was well within the time estimated it would take, roughly 6-8 hours estimated. Overall, we had a great experience working with Super Brothers Plumbing and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a knowledgable, responsive, efficient team that takes pride in their work and will go the extra mile to ensure their customers are satisfied.

I got 3 quotes for a re-pipe of my house (2 ba, ~1600 sq ft). One was insanely expensive; nearly double, so they got thrown out right away. Super Bros was not the cheapest, but very competitive with the lowest quote. There were a few reasons we went with Super Bros. First, they got started on my whole house re-pipe the next week. The other company had me waiting for more than a month. The other reason is because Super Bros was super communicative and explained the whole process before it started, asked lots of questions about my preferences, and was incredibly transparent about every details and process. My primary point of contact for this job was Jeremy. He was actually another reason that I went with Super Bros, as I never felt like he was trying to upsell anything or push me into doing something I didn't want or need. He was clear about where there were options and where he has seen challenges from a project like mine in the past. His experience and demeanor were what locked it in for me. After agreeing to use Super Bros, the next week I was met by Mike, who walked through with me as he was point on the project. I work from home so I was around for the entire thing, but I can honestly say that there was barely any disruption to my workday. Yes, the water was off for one of the 3 days of work, but other than that and the expected noise of cutting out metal pipes here and there, the disruption was nearly invisible. I was also greeted by Serge and Denis who were handling different parts of the project. Both incredibly polite and obviously damn good at their jobs. This was NOT some group of minimum wage kids subcontracted to do the work. every one of these guys was an experienced and efficient tradesman from what I could tell (admittedly I'm, not a plumber, but you could tell that they were professionals by the quality of their work, their speed, and some of the challenges my house provided that they were able to find workarounds for). You can probably tell that I'd recommend Super Bros for your next plumbing project, but in case there was any question: you should use Super Bros for your next plumbing project. Highly recommend! These guys are now my go to plumbers for anything I need done.

Super Brothers Plumbing is great. I have been using Dema and his crew since 2015 (when they were Super Mario Brothers Plumbing). Recently, I called after hours (not an emergency) due to a clog in my shower drain. I received a call back first thing (before 9:00 AM) the next morning. Kathy was super responsive, and was able to arrange an appointment for later that same day. While we were on the phone, she gave me an estimate of costs for a check-up, and explained some possible additional costs so I wouldn't be caught off guard by the invoice. Mike, my plumber, was on time, courteous, and professional. The problem was resolved, and he left my bathroom exactly as he found it. He wore protective booties in the house and was nice to my cat. Having watched this business grow from a couple of guys to a significant presence in our community over the past decade, I am proud to be a long-time client of Super Brothers Plumbing. I still get good, personal service. I think the costs are comparable to, if not slightly better than, other vendors. And, I'm happy to support a small (growing) local business. Plumbing issues suck, to say it mildly. When something goes wrong, it seems like a personal affront, and it certainly ruins your day, especially if you can't use your toilet, sink, laundry, or shower. Super Brothers understands that we are perhaps not at our best when we need their services, and they want to be as helpful as possible. It's nice to be understood when your shower won't drain (or your toilet leaks, or whatever). I trust Super Brothers to help solve my plumbing issues reasonably and fairly, while talking me off the ledge. You should, too.

I absolutely will call Super Brothers for any plumbing needs from now on. I used them last year for my mom's rental house and was very happy with their service and professionalism. But when the storm drain at my own house became clogged with debris (hubby forgot to put the filter back on smdh), a small lake quickly formed in our driveway. Upon initial plumber searches in our area, the frugal person in me was tempted by the "$93 or it's free" deal on another company's website. I was very clear about what exactly the problem was and we knew it must be leaves and dirt because, again.... the filter. I had the cheap company come out and he was "surprised" not expecting it to be a storm drain problem despite me attaching pics to my request AND my description of the problem with him over the phone. Well this other company, without the use of any scope or tools just gave us a quote of $1500 and said it was tree roots! My husband and I both laughed and we basically said we'll never call this guy again. I decided then to call Super Brothers, the whole time regretting that I didn't just call them in the first place because now they were already booked out for another week. Today, they came. On time, professional, courteous, and affordable. He snaked the line. I think he was here for about 2 hours. Total price for repair was under $250! AND big surprise.....NO TREE ROOTS. Please, if you're a busy person who just wants things done so you can check it off your list, avoid the bargain hunting and just pay for dependable service. don't waste your time like I did. Beware of other company: Mr Drain, Greg (Co-Founder)

My appointment was for 9:30 AM. Val rang the doorbell and knocked on my door at about 8:25 AM, an hour early. He was there to do an AC tune up and clean the AC compressor. I had not received a price for the compressor cleaning until it was time to do that job and then I was give a quote for $450. The tune up was $85, so the entire quoted cost was $535. I negotiated a $100 discount and he proceeded. I suppose I could have refused his services when I got the compressor cleaning quote, but he was standing in my doorway. The compressor cleaning involved spraying the compressor with some cleaning chemicals out of a one quart spray bottle and then spraying the compressor with my garden hose. From his arrival at 8:30 AM until his departure a few minutes after 9:00 AM, the entire job took a half hour and some chemicals. $535 for a half hour and some cleaning chemicals. Assuming the chemicals cost $35 (probably closer to $10), his labor time and effort were billed at $1,000 per hour. Needless to say I am deeply disappointed with the entire experience, especially since I got a email at about 8:00 AM from Beutler HVAC offering an AC tune up for $29.00. Super Brothers charges three times what Beutler charges for an AC tune up. At those prices any rational consumer would refuse to use Super Brothers in the future. I am pretty sure I am a rational consumer. An hour early, and labor cost of $500 for a half hour. Buyer beware.

Super Brothers Plumbing Heating & Air came out for two projects at my house. From the quotes to the actual work, every single person showed up on time and communicated when they were going to be late. In one instance, they even showed up early. The first project was replacing my water heater. They did a great job and were very communicative throughout the whole process, especially when it came to reserving all the rebates to make the whole thing free. They also cleaned up and left everything better than they found it. The only downside is I was hoping to pay for everything out of pocket (credit card points!) and receive the rebates directly. The technician who came to give me a quote mentioned that was an option, but nowhere in the process was that option given to me. The second project was replacing my flexible gas line for my stove. I received a new to me stove to upgrade, but with the way the previous owner installed the line, I did not feel comfortable with swapping it myself. Out of all the quotes I received, Super Brothers provided multiple solutions that I was comfortable with. They didn't dismiss my concerns or questions. They also gave an option to improve the current implementation of the line. My new stove fits in much better than the previous one did with how this new flexible line was installed. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for future needs.

In March I had Super Brothers come out for a diagnostic on my water heater for $250. I asked them to diagnose any issues with the water heater. They couldn't identify any issues so I had them do a small repair that I personally identified. Fast forward today and I am currently in escrow to sell my house, and it turns out that the seismic straps and the T&P valve are not to California residential code - neither items were noted by Super Brothers. I called them back today to ask them if they could come back out and he flatly said they don't have any availability to "provide a quote" for over a week. I told him that we are closing next week so we need someone sooner and he said, "OK" then sat on the phone silently waiting for me to say something else. He did not offer any solution or seem to really care that they received money for a diagnostic that didn't identify any of the glaring issues any licensed technician should be aware of. It seems that Super Brothers is not aware of California residential code, so it's a waste of money and time to have them perform a diagnostic on your water heater due to their lack of technical knowledge and skillset. They also do not stand by their services after they take your money. I recommend that you find a more knowledgeable and professional tradesman if you need any water heater work.

My 25 year old gas water heater suddenly started leaking. Naturally, this happened on a Friday afternoon. I called Super Brothers because they were listed as an approved agency on SMUD. They sent somebody over within a couple hours. In the meantime, I had been researching and decided I probably wanted to convert from my gas unit to an electric heat pump unit. The rep answered all my questions, explained that this was something that they did regularly and had lots of experience with and gave me a quote. We woke up the next day to no hot water. Super Brothers fit me into their schedule that day and we had hot water by dinner. I didn’t have time to shop around and get multiple quotes, but I believe the price I got from Super Brothers is fair and it included a $2000 SMUD rebate which they will handle for me. They also offered to let me pay in four no-interest, monthly installments. The technicians who handled the installation were pleasant, patiently explained all we needed to know about our new water heater, and thoroughly cleaned up the work area before leaving. I’m confident that in the unlikely event I have any issue with my new water heater it will be taken care of quickly.

My house had a plumbing blockage that looked simple and not too serious at first, but turned out to be a much bigger problem. Super Brothers came on a Monday afternoon to begin the fix, and then came back again after hours to continue diagnosing the problem and trying to get it unclogged. We think we finally resolved it on the second day. It took three visits to get the work done, but I am giving Super Brothers five stars for many reasons. First, they were responsive within 10 minutes of my request for help. Second, just like all of my previous experiences with the company, they quoted a price and stayed true to it. Third, the technicians sincerely worked hard to diagnose and fix the problem. Fourth, they were honest and transparent about what they know, what they don't know, and the fact that the fixes they were trying may not be perfect -- in other words, they set expectations appropriately. Yes, it took multiple tries, but they let me know from the beginning that may be the case, and I appreciated knowing that. There may be more work to be done, but I will continue to rely on Super Brothers as my plumber.
