Bernard was friendly and efficient in checking out my heating unit. I asked lots of questions and he was polite and patient in answering all of my questions. I am very impressed with your customer service and how I was kept in the loop in every way about the status of my appointment. Great customer service goes a long way to convincing me to sign up for the years service plan. I have confidence that I will be taken care with my HVAC needs.

Builder used cheap push/pull shutoff valves on my toilet input water lines and one wasn’t working right. I wanted them both replaced with good quarter turns and choose Strittmatter based on great reviews and them being local. Cody came out and did fantastic work. He was professional, knowledgeable, efficient, personable and gave me a fair price. He also answered a few of my random plumbing questions and offered other good tips. The only downside of my overall experience, and a bad first-contact with a new-to-me company, was dealing with “Katie” the AI receptionist who was a little creepy and inefficient to work with.

The experience with Frymire-Strittmatter was HORRIBLE. Dave came, gave a bid of $1850 to install a hot water heater PAN. Insisted it was same price for installing a hot water heater, and that it took two men. I am desperate to have it installed as I am selling my home and this is an item on required repairs for sell of home. He then gave me a discount of $200 since I was a repeat customer. So the bill, including tax was to be $1622. I paid a $250 deposit and scheduled an 8:00 AM appointment. On the day of the appointment I received NO phone call ….Dave did not show up until 11:30…..I was on my way out the door for a scheduled medical procedure…..which he and I had discussed when scheduling and he assured me that the job would be completed well in advance of my required departure to the medical procedure with having scheduled an 8:00 AM appointment. Additionally when he arrived for the appointment he was by himself. Now since the price was so HIGH because it was a 2 person job I was a little curious since I was paying the hourly rate of 2 plumbers When I expressed concern about why he was 3.5 hours late he stated he was not responsible for scheduling. Yet, when I booked the appointment he was on the phone with the scheduler and confirmed the 8:00 AM appointment. After a very heated discussion about tardiness….paying for 2 people when only one was here I told him to get off my property. Additionally all morning I had tried calling to inquire about no one showing up and all I could get on the phone was their AI Bot fielding phone calls. Later in the afternoon I called, finally got a woman on the phone, told her my story and how furious I was and demanded that I wanted my $250 deposit back….my concern about being overcharged. This woman promised a call back. You guessed it…..Not one damn call back. I can’t begin to express my dissatisfaction with Dave….Frymire-Strittmatter- and the entire experience. Clearly they have no conscience about over charging. As far as I am concerned this company STOLE $250 from me, completely misrepresented their ability and what it took to get the job done. And let me add, I was furnishing the pan not Frymire-Strittmatter. I would NEVER NEVER recommend this company or anyone associated with it ever to anyone. And, oh yes….i got the job done for $225 from their competitor.

Avoid at all costs…. We were looking for someone to flush our tankless water heater, address our water pressure drop, and install two shower heads. We initially scheduled our appointment for 10AM-12PM, but we were later notified that someone would arrive a little after 12 PM. Fast-forward to 4:30 PM, and the sales associate/plumber arrived. After listening to our concerns, he stated he would put together a quote for us. The quote itself took about an hour to provide. At this point, I was prepared for the used car salesman tactics. Sure enough, the first quote was $9,000 for primarily a water conditioner/softener and a few other items that had absolutely nothing to do with our request. The price pyramid scam included five other options, all the way down to a roughly $2k quote that actually covered what we requested. This was my only day off to meet with someone, and even though it was on the high side of things, the technician was kind, and I didn't mind providing him with our business. I don't hold him accountable for the pitch this company makes them go through. The work was scheduled for the following day, and I had to be at work, but the technician did come and attempt to provide the services we paid for. However, it was done so poorly that we now have to hire another company to straighten out and fix the mistakes. As you see in the photo below, the connection points on a high-pressure line are not aligned, the PRV has zero support to the point where it is bending the line below, and the water shut-off handle is barely accessible now. And to top it off, we still have low water pressure in our kitchen, a hole in our wall that was much larger than necessary, and a mess of insulation/drywall dust to clean up in our garage from the cutout. I would highly recommend that anyone looking for plumbing services look elsewhere.
