These professionals are really good. They are prompt, trustworthy, hard working, skilled, and extremely knowledgeable. They figure out the problems and solve them without delay. I will go to this company for my plumbing, electrical, and handyman services. The owners have thoroughly vetted their employees. I couldn't have asked for better service. Thank you.

Jacob was incredible! Courteous, timely, efficient and effective! The ability to also text them photos of the work I needed was a game changer for a quick and accurate estimate that I was already comfortable with before they arrived! Will definitely be using St. Matthews plumbing again and would recommend you do so as well!

The tech’s from St Matthews plumbing were great! They pointed out some issues that had been done incorrectly with the former owners toilet install. While fixing it correctly, they accidentally damaged the toilet flange. They told me about it immediately, and repaired it better than it was before (with no extra cost). Businesses like this are hard to find these days… And I appreciate people who admit their mistakes and do the best they can to fix them. I would highly recommend St Matthews Plumbing to anyone.

Please don't use this company I had a broken valve on my shower handle these guys charged me $400 dollars just for that unfortunately I was @ work and couldn't not found someone else that quick, so I had no choice vey disappointed

After reading several glowing reviews, I wanted to use this company but found them to be unreliable. Would not recommend.

After doing some research, I decided on St Matthews Plumbing, primarily due to it's consistent 5 star rating on Google reviews (21), Yelp (1), Angie's List (4), and BBB (2). My initial contact was Doug Peacock, its president, who'd responded to my online request for service. He sent Chris out for a free estimate that same day (Monday), then set my appointment for today (Thursday) when I called back after the estimate. I had 4 things I needed/wanted done. In the end, the 2 needs were addressed. The other 2 are minor and postponed for now. When Chris was here Monday, he (1) tightened up the pipe under my kitchen sink (no charge) and (2) advised what type handle/faucet I required to replace the constantly dripping tub/shower one in the main bathroom. He explained the 2 choices available (with washers or easy quarter-turn and no washers), and suggested I get it at Plumbers Supply, which I did AFTER I checked at Home Depot and Lowe's. The job also involved cutting out an access in the drywall to the plumbing - it's in the bathroom closet - nicely squared, so it will be easy for me to fix with a panel of some sort. Chris is knowledgeable, polite, and his post-job clean up was fine. I highly recommend this company.

Needing a plumber for a stopped up double kitchen sink, I combed the reviews, called people, etc. Its so hard to find reliable, trust worthy people. I called St. Matthew's Plumbing and heard from them first thing in the morning. I spoke with Dan (the owner) and he said he could have someone out between 4 and 6. Yeah! I lucked out because the service man was able to arrive earlier. Kieran showed up and we discussed what was going on, he checked in the cellar to see what kind of pipes were used. We discussed pricing and what he thought was the issue. A little over an hour later he was cleaning up and the water was flowing through the drains. I was very impressed with the company (small local owned) overall. If I have any plumbing issues down the road I will definitely call St. Matthew's Plumbing. I feel they are reliable with a lot of years experience and didn't try to oversell or overprice me. I'm extremely happy with the work and the professionalism of everyone I dealt with.

St Mathew’s Plumbing is the bomb! They checked every box for a plumbing company. They are courteous, efficient and reasonably price. I cannot say enough to express my gratitude for the service they provided to unclog a drain after I accidentally poured a cleaning rag down the toilet of my son and his family’s home that they had just moved into. Jacob and three other guys worked tirelessly and with great attitudes determined to unclog the pipe. They were successful thankfully!! Reasonably priced on top of great service. What more. Everything a customer could want! They also confirm appointments with texts, emails and phone calls.

Got a really high water bill this month. Louisville Water suggested performing the food coloring test and sure enough, without us knowing, our toilet was running and wasting gallons of water. I called St. Matthews Plumbing at 8 a.m. and Jacob arrived promptly at 9:30. Took one look made the adjustment and said to call if we had any more trouble. Done.✅ We moved to Louisville ten years ago and three properties later continue to call St. Matthews for all our plumbing needs.

We liked their personnel and communication. We appreciate the Veterans discount. However, we felt that the initial recommendation of a new toilet should have been the last resort in the problem solving process. When discussed, they agreed to auger the line and that is working right now. That may change over time. However, we appreciated doing the least expensive first.

Fast service, very nice technician. Did what he could. Did not have a camera to find where the sewer break is and then St Matthew’s Plumbing was going to charge me an additional $400 to run a camera. Decided to use another company who did free diagnostics. I always call St Matthew’s Plumbing first when I have an issue.

This might be a little thing, but they were great about wearing their lil blue booties over their shoes anytime they weren't in the cellar. Stuff like that really makes a difference to me. They also managed to fix my hot water heater without performing any significant repairs, so that was nice. $250 all in all.

Jacob was professional and personable. Explained everything to me and was able to get everything fixed and my plumbing back up and working during a last minute weekend appointment. I’m thankful and grateful for his expertise and kindness. The cost also was affordable when thinking of a last minute appointment.
