Great experience w/ Sosa Plumbing! Called yesterday early morning and was immediately scheduled for that afternoon. They had a tech call in sick and immediately called me and explained they had to push me out to today. Very apologetic, courteous and professional. I was told Steven was delayed today and would be on site later this afternoon, but he showed just after original time today. Really pleasant young man! I had asked if he wouldn't mind my watching, so I could learn. He was more than accomodating. He took the time to answer any question I had and explained what he was doing throughout the repair process. We chatted about all sorts of things while he was on site. Would highly recommend both Steven and Sosa Plumbing and will call them with any furture plumbing needs I might have.

Jason was out to my house twice - for two separate issues with clogs in cast iron pipe under the slab (once on Friday and again for a different line on Monday...when it rains, it pours, I guess). On both occasions, he was efficient, communicative about what he was seeing with the camera and in explaining what he was doing, and professional. In both cases, augering the lines was not sufficient to release the clogs, and camera work and hydro-jetting was needed to clear them. I especially appreciate that there was no attempt to upsell services or use scare tactics on the customer - it actually seemed like he was "on my team" here, and wanted to sort out the issues as quickly as possible as opposed to hoping to pad the work and hours on the job. All in all, I am very happy with Sosa and Jason's work. They'll be my go-to from here on out.

Excellent service from Jason at Sosa Plumbing. He showed up on time, was professional and courteous, and clearly knew what he was doing. He replaced a kitchen faucet and an outdoor spigot efficiently, explained the work, and didn’t waste time. Everything was done right the first time, no mess, no surprises. This is how a plumber should operate. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Jason again or recommend him to anyone needing plumbing work.

Shower cartridge replacement $600 for shower cartridge replacement! The two stars is only for the price. Charging $450 in labor for 1 hour job seems a bit too much. Rest everything was fine - scheduling, the job was completed within reasonable time, and the plumber was respectful

I used Sosa plumbing for a repair job, the plumber who came out was very courteous and professional, completed the job efficiently. Replaced the O ring, placed new bolts and nuts to secure the toilet, however about 3-4 weeks after the job I noticed a hairline fracture on the bottom left of the toilet seat by the bolt that was replaced, upon research online it stated the plumber may have over tightened the bolts or not did not provide any support to the front and the seat shifted a bit, I called them back and sent pictures of crack and they stated they would be going out to look at it and assess if it was the plumbers fault or just the age of the seat. About a day before the appointment to assess the owner called and stated they were refusing to accept any responsibility and would be canceling the appointment, even though we had a warranty for the repair. And the repair was not cheap, about $350 for the service. I would be weary about contacting them , because even if you have a warranty in writing they don’t honor it. Do your research before hiring Sosa Plumbers, i know we want to support our small Business owners, but I would not recommend them.

They treated me badly after I had paid them over $3k for work. I previously posted a better review because the gentleman did a good job and was courteous, but when I asked the company to check an issue of contention that was raised to me by a neighbor claiming to me that my plumbing work had impacted her plumbing, Sosa blew me off. The work was done in a condo where all of infrastructure is shared, so you have to be extra careful not to disrupt your neighbor's infra. A neighbor came by and said that her shower didn't drain anymore and given I had just had this work done recently, and me wanting to be a good neighbor and set my neighbor's and my mind at ease, I called Sosa to send someone to investigate this claim. I would have been willing to pay so that it didn't always stay in my neighbor's mind that I had done something to her plumbing. I'm sure one can relate that once a relationship with a neighbor goes south, it's hard to repair it. But 2 minutes after I called for help and made an appt, they canceled my appt because the "manager" said there's no way that the work they did would have had an impact on my neighbor. Seems odd the "manager" could so quickly recall the work their tech, Jason, performed weeks ago and know the inner workings of the condo's plumbing to make such a confident statement. No follow up questions asked of me. Now, they may have been right, but that's not the point. I didn't call for warranty work, I called for help with a plumbing situation between me and a neighbor. I just paid over $3k for work on this investment property when it appears the company cares more about what they can get out of you than customer care or customer retainment. Seems short-sited. They actually wanted the neighbor to call. They said that the neighbor should call them for help. Perhaps they saw an opportunity to charge her, rather than potentially do warranty work for me? I saw a text saying my appt was canceled before I even finished stating my concern to the lady on the phone BY the lady on the phone (she was literally listening to my plea for help while clicking cancel at the same time). Just made me feel really unheard and little. It's a shame, too, because for a minute there, I thought Sosa was a good company, but they showed their true colors. Just very disappointed

Great customer service. Absolutely insane pricing. I was in the kitchen and noticed we had no water. I knew it was either the city shut it off or there was a leak in the front yard. There's a PVC pipe in the front that has given us problems in the past and sure enough that was it. Water was gushing out. I shut the water off and called Sosa. I used to work for an electrical contractor before I retired a few months ago, we used them for some work at our office. I was hoping they would become my go to plumbers. Pros: Girl on the phone was very nice, she even set me up for same day service between 4 and 6. She said the plumber might even make it early and he did. 2 hours early. Woo Hoo, a great start. BTW Stephen the plumber was also very good, no problem with him. I showed Stephen what was wrong. This was not a hard job. Plumbing 101. Dig down a bit, ground was soft and wet and replace the broken PVC Maybe a job that would take a couple of hours. He prepared the estimate. $1,536.98. I thought he was joking but he wasn't. Now I'm stuck because I'm getting older and my knees are kind of hosed up, so doing it myself would be difficult. Didn't have much of a choice because we need water. So we reluctantly agreed to it. The job took about 3 hours, an hour was spent shopping for parts and waiting for the PVC glue to dry. Parts were a PVC stick and a couple of elbows, $20 maybe. When I worked for the electrical contractor we charged $125 an hour for service calls. Sosa is charging what works out to be close to $500. Taken directly from their website: Despite the success, we still stick true to our core values of providing high-quality plumbing solutions at fair, competitive rates the average homeowner can easily afford. Hmm. The average homeowner in the Pflugerville Round Rock area averages $120,000 in household income on the high end. That's $63.87 an hour. I'm confused, how is the average homeowners who are bringing in $63.87 an hour going to easily afford your services when you're charging them 8 times what they're making????

Performed multiple services to my satisfaction, but there were errors along the way that I feel would be avoided with more communication among crews and more training. Replaced water softener (perfect service) and replaced two shower cartridges. Hot and cold water were left inverted, which I fixed by rotating the shower handles. During softener installation, I found leak in the pressure reducing valve (PRV) next to water meter. Hired Sosa again and crew fixed, but stated that PRV were installed on wrong side (between meter and private shut-off: should be installed after shut-off). Hired Sosa to replace PRV and install it after private shut-off. Crew first dug neighbor's pipe and luckily I alerted them on time before cutting neighbor's installation. Crew was going to install new PRV before private shut-off (the very goal of the service, to install the PRV after the private shut-off); I also alerted on time to fix position. Again, these were errors that could have been avoided with more attention and communication. Nevertheless, services were completed, price is competitive and response is fast.

Update below! Stephen and Nathan from Sosa Services are one of a kind! They are knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and hard working. We were referred by a neighbor to use Sosa Services to install a water softener. Not only were they able to assess our home for what would work best, but they also took the time to explain why and how it would be done in the most cost effective way. If you think the big name brands are "getting you the best price", call Sosa first and have them come give you a quote. We will call Sosa again for our next plumbing need. 10/10 recommend!! Update: Jason came out today and helped us find the problem in our sink not draining properly. He not only spent time cleaning out the pipe, but also in talking is thru the root of the problem, possible solutions, and ways to help in the meantime. Thank you SO MUCH Jason!! We always look forward to working with Sosa and now we can add Jason to the preferred tech list. 15/10 recommend!!

The Owner texted me over the holiday weekend when we had a leak and had to shut off water to the house at the meter. He Gave me a quote of $300 to $500 based on the photos I texted. I thought that was high, but he was the only plumber I communicated with who'd give me an appointment day and time. The owner called that morning to confirm the appointment, and the young man called when 30 minutes away, was respectful, cleaned up after himself, etc. I liked the work the young man from Sosa Services did yesterday. But he had to go to the supply store two different times, which took hours. But then, when the work was completed, I was asked for $575. I thought that was exorbitant. I paid $500 but thought that was still too high. I would recommend them if you're in a situation where you've just got to get something fixed ASAP, but I am going to keep looking for someone more affordable.

Had an emergency leak near the main water cuttoff. Sosa Services was very responsive, they sent a certified plumber over to check it out the same day. They didn't charge me a fee just to come over, unlike many other businesses that I talked to. Hunter was very transparent and helpful, he quickly dug up the ground and found the source of the issue. He addressed all of my concerns and answered all my questions. I gave approval for doing a fix right then and there. He started working and was done within 1-2 hours. He showed me the result and proved to me that it was working. Then he quickly covered the hole and left. Hunter also provided an invoice and walked me through the process of using it to request to forgive the extra portion of the water bill caused by the leak. The invoice also provides a full warranty for the work done.

January 2022: We hired Sosa for some natural gas line repairs and installation. Their prices were competitive, and Alex was very communicative. Anthony and Isaiah did the work, and they were very professional. They showed up on time, explained what they were doing, and their quality was good. There was a small issue with needing to add a regulator to the line they installed, and they bought one and installed it without additional charge. Highly recommended. 8/4/22 update: our water heater started leaking last night, texted Sosa well after hours (like 10PM) and got a reply. They sent over Hunter at 11:00 this morning who confirmed its death and quoted to replace it same day. He left 4.5 hours later, with a new unit installed and tested. Punctual, professional, friendly service.

My faucet water pressure was very low so I called to see if they could replace the cartridge. Isaiah came out and replaced the cartridge. That helped some but the pressure was still low. Isaiah took the whole faucet apart and cleaned all of the parts. Unfortunately, the 20 year old faucet needs to be replaced. I was not charged for the cartridge or the extra time it took to take apart the faucet and clean it. Isaiah said he would not charge for the extra work because he could not fully resolve the problem. I am going to buy a new faucet and will definitely call Sosa Services to install it. I never thought I would find an honest and affordable plumber. I would highly recommend this company!

I requested a quote via Yelp to replace a broken main shutoff valve and pressure reducing valve on a Friday afternoon Alejandro from Sosa Services reached out to me within 15 mins and was able to come out the same day to give me an in person quote after assessing the scope of work. Upon request, he scheduled a follow up appointment to come out on the following Monday morning to repair my water pressure issue and replace my broken water main. Always on time and communicated to be honestly what needed to be done and the price was beyond reasonable! They've earned a loyal customer and I will be sure to call for any future plumbing needs!

Sosa Plumbing was absolute greatness. First of all, they had me set up for an appointment in less than 24 hours. Jason sent an email that he was enroute and showed up right on time. He looked at the site of my leak, did a little digging, and gave me three options (good, better, best). I chose the option I wanted, and had my leak fixed with a new shutoff valve in a box in the yard put in place in less than 2 hours. Jason was great at explaining everything, and he was fast. This cost way less than I was expecting. Thanks to Jason and to Sosa Plumbing. I am highly impressed and will recommend you to anyone who needs plumbing work.
