A Five-Star Experience from Start to Finish! From my initial phone call about a clogged sink, their team was incredibly responsive, offering to be at my house in less than an hour. I also inquired about replacing my outdoor water taps, as they were old and leaking when on. Since it wasn't a true emergency, I was happy to wait. Their scheduler was wonderfully accommodating and immediately booked me for the following day at my earliest convenience. The technician arrived on time, and was highly professional. The quality of work was outstanding. Not only did they use top-tier materials like all-brass fittings, but they also took the time to explain what they were doing and why. I couldn't be more satisfied and will definitely be a returning customer. They also gave me a 90 day warranty on the work done.

They saved me! My water heater decided to die out of nowhere and Bernardo came over with his team and replaced my water heater the same day. Our situation was very complicated but he worked with us the entire way! He also kept his word on everything he said as well. My family loves to support other family businesses and this one will be our plumber from now on! He put in a new water heater which was better than the one before and it was almost the same price as our old one. Our system was very very old and it had tons of valves that didn't need to be there. He simplified our system and replaced our pipes and was done in a fairly good amount of time. Since we live in apartments he needed to shut off water to our other 3 neighbors including us and turned the water back on for them in a short amount of time (one of them was not very friendly. Bernardo understood and we got no complaints!) If it needs to be done that day he will get it done! Our air conditioner also wasn't getting any heat so we were cold for so long! We talked to our AC people and they were just giving us the run around. Told Bernardo and he helped figure it out! Turns out our AC was also super old and our water heater was connected to our AC, which is no longer what modern systems have. Bernardo worked with us for a good couple of days to figure out our situation. He stayed all day one of the days and gave us a really good deal for all the work that needed to be done. Very humble people. We ended up not having to call the AC people for the fourth/fifth time who kept giving us the run around because Bernardo fixed everything. He did say he doesn't do electrical or AC but he helped us with this and for that we are so grateful for it. We gave them very good tips just because of how understanding they were and all the hard work they did! Very good work. I've had no problems since. I love these people they will be our plumber from now on!! 10/10 in every way! Thanks again Bernardo and family. You guys were amazing! :)

My water heater decided to give out on cold evening. I could not get anyone to look at the water heater the same evening until I saw That's Good Drain & Rooter on Yelp. I decided to give them a call, and they responded to me right away! They promised me that they will have someone come out within that hour, and within 20 mins Bernado from the company showed up. Bernado is super knowledgeable and super friendly guy. He assessed the water heater, he knew the problem right then and there. He got to work right away that evening! He helped me to haul the new water heater from the store and took my old broken water heater away. I am so amazed by their workmanship! He and his helper got my new water heater installed that same evening! When he was replacing my water heater, he noticed the water psi is unusually high . He figured out the solution right away. He promised to return the next morning to get it done. He came on time the next morning with all the equipments and parts. He got that water pressure problem fixed within that morning! I m so glad I called Bernado that evening when my water heater broke. He and his team is very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, on-time and honest. He offers great price for quality works.

Emy and Bernardo are life savers! I reached out on a Sunday afternoon about a clogged drain that caused water / disposal backup in my garage sink, and they were able to come help within the hour. More importantly, they were honest and hard working people. I had another plumber take a look at the clogged drain earlier and quickly told me I needed a specific type of service called a hydro jetter, which would cost me around $1,500. However, Emy and Bernardo took a closer look and were able to clear my drain with a simpler method which cost me less than 1/3 of the cost! When I told them I needed a hydro jetter service they asked me why I believed I needed that type of service, and then quickly assured me that it wouldn't be necessary. They could have went with it and milked me for the high priced service, but instead they did their best to help me and do it the most efficient and cost effective way possible. Don't be mislead by their limited number of reviews. They've been in the business for over 20 years and it shows in their work. I highly recommend them and I will definitely go back to them for any future plumbing work.

My husband found a leak in our irrigation system so we needed repair done right away. I am SO glad found That's Good Drain & Rooter on Yelp. I called on a Friday afternoon and Emy answered right away, she was kind and helpful. They said they could be at my house within an hour and they were, they even kept updating us on their ETA. Bernardo checked out the leak and knew exactly what to do, he left to go buy some parts and came back right away. I really liked how they updated us with each step of the work being done. He completed the work, it required some waiting time for drying and they stayed and waited for it to dry to make sure the work was complete before leaving. They communicated very well during the entire process. I could tell they're honest, hardworking people. And I would definitely call them again for any plumbing or similar services in the future! PS: my kids were so curious with the work that Bernardo was doing and he was SO kind and responsive with the questions and comments they had for him!

So we had a clogged tub. Contacted Emy and she said she's sending Bernardo out. I asked for an estimate she said he'll come and check and give us a rate before the job. So he came checked the line. Said if it doesn't work he won't charge us, if it does the flat rate would be. So it worked and he even cleaned out our tub with clorox. It was pretty nasty. Since it was our first time booking an appointment with them they gave us a discount. He recommended also a catch for the drain to get all the hair that gets trapped. This guy Bernardo is super nice, great service, and if we ever need a plumber I definitely would recommend them.

Bernardo and Emelita were fantastic! Our toilet started leaking yesterday evening and all the go-to tactics were not working! I sent out a request hoping for a response but not hopeful due to it being a rainy Friday evening. We got a response quickly with a reasonable rate and they were at our house within the hour. The issue required them to come back the following day and they agreed to return at 7am! On time and finished the job within the time quoted. We really appreciate their flexibility, professionalism and kindness for making us a priority because we have a kiddo! I will def recommend them and use them in the future!

Fast response, fair and honest estimates, and friendly service - Bernardo and team have been a pleasure to work with. That's Good Drain & Rooter was absolutely awesome. I am so happy that I found them. They were quick to respond to my inquiry and they they were at my home within an hour of my call. Bernardo was able to quickly diagnose my plumbing issue and fix it. I am always nervous and wary when it comes to this sort of thing but Bernardo walked me through everything that he was doing and also found another problem that we weren't aware of and fixed that too. I needed a quote to swap a water heater and make sure it was up to code. I called and Emy set up an appointment on the same day. Bernardo came at the arranged time, inspected the unit, and provided a competitive and fair price to do the service. They even offered to do it right then and there. I decided to have them do it. They did a fantastic job swapping the unit, installing new pipes, and installed additional piping for the pressure release valve. I would definitely recommend him for plumbing service. My toilet is fixed! I had a leak inside the tank that caused my water bill to spike :( I took a chance and called Bay Area Smart Rooter located in El Sobrante. Sam came the same day to give me a free quote. He came back today (its SUNDAY!) and replaced the parts inside the toilet. He even fixed my faucets in 2 bathrooms that had a leak - all for a very reasonable price. It's great to find a plumber that is trustworthy, professional and local!
