Shawn came to help us on a Friday evening, when we weren’t expecting him until Monday. He told us he just thought that we might want to have it done before the weekend! He is such a good guy, and he goes above and beyond to do great work! He is our forever plumber!! If you call him, you will not be disappointed!!

Shawn is very knowledgeable and courteous. He quickly repaired the water heater and a slow drain sink. If I need another plumber, I’ll be sure and call Selbe.

I called Shawn originally in May 2025 when I believed there was a hot water line issue in the foundation of my home, purchased in July 2024. It felt like the tile floor in one of the bathrooms had radiant heat. The water heater was in a direct line to where I believed the pipes might be located. Since I knew there was no radiant heat, the culprit seemed to be a hot water line leak. I'm fairly new to Greenville and didn't have experience with any plumbers. I researched local plumbers on Google, and Selbe Plumbing had all 5 star reviews, across the board. I called the number, and spoke to Shawn, who came out the next day. He diagnosed the issue as a foundation leak, gave me instructions on how to turn the water heater off when not in use, and provided a quote the same day. He'd recommended digging under the house to repair the leak, which seemed the way to go at that time. Fast forward through an entirely too busy summer, and I finally called Shawn to come back out. He was immensely patient as I peppered him with questions and attempted to understand the options available to fix the problem. I could see the wheels turning in his head throughout various stages of the project, and he kept me in the loop about everything he was thinking or recommending. Ultimately we decided to reroute the water line through the attic versus the foundation because Shawn believed there were likely more leaks than just the one he found in the access area by the tub. Shawn's 5 star reviews are legitimately earned. He's professional, prompt, knowledgeable, and has impeccable follow through. It comes, therefore, as no surprise that his work product is another reflection of why his reviews are so good. His pricing was more than fair. In an age where independently owned, small businesses are being replaced by much larger companies, this locally-owned business by a business owner who knows the Greenville area is a gem.

I was very impressed with Selbe Plumbing! We had a leak somewhere under the slab. Selbe plumbing came out and looked for the leak, it was very hard to find because of where it was located and the sound traveled making it difficult to find. They did not give up! They had to dig 2 tunnels under the house but once they found it, it was fixed that day! They went above what they had to do to get our leak fixed. They were open about every detail that had to be done and very reasonable in their price to fix it. I highly recommend using them!! They now have my business on whatever plumbing I need to have done! Selbe Plumbing gets five stars from me. Shawn was great with communicating with me from my first text message , which mind you was after normal business hours and he was attentive via phone calls and text messages. Shawn showed up when he said he would and his pricing is fair, for being a small town you at times are concerned with the price gouging but Selbe Plumbing was in line with standard pricing. He came in and completed the first phase of bathroom remodel without any delays. Thank you and we will use your oro services again ! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
