I called on a Friday and they came out the following Tuesday. The office manager and Bill Schneider and his apprentice were all polite. They were on time and accommodating and conveyed pricing in advance. The on/off knob to an outside faucet was leaking even when the inside knob that turned the water on and off was turned all the way to the right. This would normally be an easy fix but the knob could not be removed (70 year old house) so a segment of copper pipe needed to be replaced along with a new valve. They installed a lever and the new pipe. Took about half an hour - $135 minimum plus $40 for the parts. I will use them again.
Schneider's is wonderful to work with. We had a new heater replaced last year. Excellent service and good price. Bill has been our plumber for many years. He is terrific.
Bill from Schneider's came to repair our upstairs bathroom toilet. We know Bill from when he worked for another plumbing company, and he was always great to deal with. Service was fast, efficient, and honest. Pricing was in keeping with most other plumbing companies.
Called Schneider's three weeks ago for a leak in the roof of a kitchen. Said the leak was from third floor bathroom, and it was sealed. Leak returned at the same spot. Called them back and said will send out a plumber between 1 - 130PM. No one showed up, so called them back. Said plumber was stuck on another job and won't be there for another hour and a half. No heads up, and when told I should have been given a head's up...said 'ok'. No apology, no concern for the customer
I initially did an online request with Donnelly's but it took them forever to respond to me so I called Schneider's and the receptionist said she can have someone out within the hour. The gentleman that came out was quick to identify the issues, fixed what was needed to be repaired and wrote up a detailed explanation on the invoice (which I have to turn into my landlord). The only reason for the 4 stars is the pricing. The labor fee and cost of installation was a bit much.
