Matt was incredible. Very smart. Had a huge replumbing job and did impeccable work. Cheapest in town? Definitely not. But adage is true: you get what you pay for. And I got excellent work.

While I was away from my vacation home in St Pete, my hot water heater began leaking and needed to be replaced. St Pete Plumbing handled everything remotely and had a new unit installed within 24 hours. The process was smooth and stress-free, and Matt communicated clearly from start to finish. I highly recommend St Pete Plumbing and will absolutely use them for any future plumbing needs.

As a homeowner, you know what the challenge can feel like as you look for reliable services to fall back on when you need help with various things around your house (plumbing, electrical, roofing, etc.). You hope you're calling someone that's good. That they do what you need and don't make a mess along the way. And many times, your disappointed. No one calls back, techs don't show or don't show on time, work is less than great, you know the drill. So, when you do find a service you can count on... it's a relief. These guys have done a number of jobs for us, from running new hot lines, to installing a toilet and dishwasher... and each interaction has been great. Costs are on par or better than other services, the work is on-point and clean, and the guys are friendly, professional, patient, and respectful. Didn't have a great experience. During replacement of a shower fixture they completely cut one of my studs. Not notched or a small section; the entire cross section of the load bearing stud where the piping ran. Then they tried to tell me it was ok because it was still attached at the top and bottom. To make it worse, the repair leaked after they left. To their credit, the did come back out and fix the leak and the installed a wedge to replace the removed section of stud. I was going to give them another chance with installation of a tankless hot water heater, but they never called me back after I signed the agreement. Overall they seem like nice people and from other reviews it seems like they do good work, but their communication with me was poor and if I didn't know any about home repairs and not pushed them on their error, they would have walked away with damaging my house.

Be wary of working with this company. Called them out to investigate an issue with my garbage disposal. They quickly diagnosed the issue as unrepairable and quoted me $890 including a hidden $240 fee) to replace an $80 garbage disposal. I was skeptical of the cost so I denied the work. After calling the manufacturer, a quick reset and a twist of an Allen wrench had my disposal working like brand new.

UPDATE: I relied on this company numerous times (see below) and Trent always supported me professionally and efficiently. Since then I have not had good service. We paid a lot of money for a new water filtration service - our only requirement was to get rid of limestone in the water, and still have it taste good. SPP installed a system and then we found out several months later that they never activated it. Then we recently found out, after 8 months of having it, that it's the wrong type - not one that can remove limestone well (our shower heads kept getting clogged and there are new stains on our faucets). The company has been good with support though, coming out to remove it today and we should see a full reimbursement soon. That said, we won't be calling them again. 2024: Trent came to the home to perform several jobs, including bathroom shower plumbing, under kitchen sink/cabinet, and toilet area. It's one thing to get a professional, who takes the time to do the job right the first time, is thorough, tests it to ensure good quality control, and does it quickly. It's another thing to get all that great service and to get an awesome, kind, personality with it as well. Will be using this company again for sure. GO SPP!

I had two leaks, one in the kitchen and one in the bathroom, that I couldn't find the source of. The first time I called St. Pete Plumbing, they recommended I call Leak Hero, another outstanding St. Petersburg business, which found two leaks. St. Petersburg Plumbing came the next day. Joshua lay down on the floor to do something magical under the dishwasher, and even helped me turn the rug 180° so the wet part could dry out. But, he said, I needed a whole new toilet to fix THAT leak. About 16 hours later, Alex came and not only did a great job with the toilet, but found and fixed a THIRD leak! Best of all, the final bill was substantially lower than AI told me to expect. I recommend St. Pete Plumbing highly!

Incredible service, phenomenal communication, informative, trustworthy, top quality work... a few words I'd use to describe my experience with Patrick and St. Pete Plumbing. I had a problem on my hands and there was no one that was willing to help like Patrick and his team at St. Pete Plumbing. Extremely informative about the issue, what they were doing to resolve it, flexible to my schedule and availability, and just an overall solid team of workers. We thought my mom had a small leak in her condo that we assumed was coming from a new appliance. After a few days we realized that the problem was way bigger than that. We contacted the HOA and waited for their plumber who never showed up when he said he was going to be there (he showed up 18 hours later). I call St Pete Pluming and they were there in 20 minutes. The guys were so polite and so helpful and very quick to find where the leak was coming from. I can't thank them enough for their quick response. I highly recommend St Pete Plumbing.

Matt confidently and expertly exposed the costly under-slab leak and rebuilt the section of plumbing, and resolved the problem, all while being extremely clean, and leaving the site spotless. He worked his butt off working in a very confined space, all to avoid costly demolition of our bathroom, as others might have done. Communication was great, and we are delighted to have fixed the problem. I would hire Matt and St. Pete Plumbing again without hesitation, and recommend them.

We wanted an exterior spigot added outside our kitchen window. After getting a quote from another company, we called St Pete Plumbing. Charles visited same day, assessed the situation, made some helpful suggestions, and provided a quote of less than half of the quote we received from the other company. We chose St Pete Plumbing and scheduled the work. Charles came back and did a great job. Now we have a plumber to call when we need one -- St Pete Plumbing!

Got to work with Charles this morning, who took a look at my issue and when he realized there was nothing they could do to help me (it ended up being an HVAC issue) didn't charge me and gave me some ideas about who I could call to solve the problem. The whole team at St. Pete Plumbing is great! From the initial call in through the finished job - a great experience. Their time estimates were accurate, they cleaned up throughout their process & basically left the area cleaner than before they arrived. Plumbing work can be expensive, in general, their work w/copper is well worth the price. 10/10 would use them again for another plumbing need. Thank you Matt & team!

Matt with St. Pete Plumbing arrived to my home within 30 minutes of being alerted by the City of St Pete that I had a water leak. Matt temporarily fixed the leak and returned the next business day to install a new water line from the water meter to my home. His communication was great as he kept me informed every step of the way. I highly recommend St. Pete Plumbing!!

I cannot say enough good things about this company! They are quick to respond to a call, and will fit you into their schedule immediately. They are efficient and REALLY know what they are doing. I have used them both at home and at my place of employment and have been more than satisfied with the work done and the final cost! Would give them 10 stars if I could!!!
