Sj&eaton are always readily available for emergencies or typical updates needed in home with heating and plumbing. They are wonderful and I refer them to anyone I know in our area for there plumbing and heating needs!

Your son was very professional and considerate to take his shoes off after walking in the snow. He took time to show me where the leak was and give me options. He was understanding and I have already shared your good work with my neighbors!! I look forward to hearing back from you on my split system. Thank you for your professional job and your business being helpful not greedy. I had a different hvac contractor in the Lewisburg area come in the beginning who was very greedy. They charged me an outrageous amount of money and did nothing. You guys are the best!!
I called S.J. Eaton for help with a clogged basement drain. My call was made after 1PM. I was told that I would be put on the service list and they would call me when a serviceman would be available. At 2:43 I got a call saying that they were on their way! Chris arrived shortly after that, He went right to work and resolved my clog in short order. Chris was friendly and professional. We will recommend S.J. Eaton to our friends.
Totally unprofessional and poorly trained. Tech came to my house to diagnose water heater for coverage under my home warranty. Upon arrival tried to install new water heater in spite of my clear verbal instructions to the office about needing approval. Tech then claimed he didn’t know how to diagnose problem and water heater was just old. Tech then claimed there was no power to unit and I needed to call an electrician. However upon checking when I returned from work I found with a tester there was indeed power to the unit(see photo). Also tech left a puddle of water in my basement. I called to complain about the service and was greeted with a very rude and condescending secretary, who tried to speak over me and then hung up when I would not put up with it. I was very frustrated but did not curse, I wanted my complaint to be heard. Her lack of customer service skills would have her fired from most respectable companies. I do not recommend this company and will tell anyone I come in contact with to avoid them at all costs.
I would not recommend this business. I called 3 times over a 3 week period just to get a quote to install a unit. I was told repeatedly that Steve will call me back. Almost 3 weeks later and still no response. I had to move on to a reliable business. I can only imagine if I had an actual heating emergency.
All house drains were clogged. Called on a Thursday and they were there on Friday to work open clogs. Because of being a new customer I was informed I had to leave a blank check or pay 3 1/2% fee for a charge card. Woman in office said she'd email the amount of my check when the work was complete. She lied. Repairman called to say what he did. He was very kind on the phone. He said he wiped off washer and dryer but there was a mess in the basement to clean. A mess was a mild term! In 2021 you'd think a plumbing company would use a shop vac, or a hose and water, something, to clean up the mess they made. ( A carpenter wouldn't do repairs and leave their mess for you to clean up! ) I left a message regarding the mess and I'd like to know the amount of my check. I had a return call from the man who did the work explaining he already explained there was a mess, which wasn't my point. My point being, when I checked with other people, they are telling me their area was cleaned better than it looked before they called their plumber. I had to make another call, 5 days later, to get the amount of my check, which is $300.00. I know I will not use Eaton's service again. For $300.00 to unclog my drains and leave a mess of sludge with fragments of wet, tiny pieces of toilet paper, throughout the basement, with a smell that'll take quite a while to leave, for me to clean up---NO,, never again!!!! Update 11/18/21: Less than 2 1/2 months later, same issue. Contacted Eaton because in that short time at $300. I shouldn't have an issue. Office help replied the owner refuses to do anything because I posted a negative review. I replied most businesses welcome any reviews to improve their customer service. I contacted BBB. Instead of lining Mr. Eaton pockets, consider a repair person who is in the business of customer service first, then making a comfortable living.
S.J. Eaton has saved us more than once, and at this point, we wouldn’t call anyone else for HVAC or plumbing. This past summer, during a brutal heat wave, our home A/C went out. We initially called another local company and were told it would take two days for a technician to come out. When that day finally came, they showed up hours late, charged a service fee just to diagnose the issue, and told us the blower motor was shot. They couldn’t get the part until the following week and quoted us over $1,500. Frustrated and still stuck in the heat, we called S.J. Eaton that same evening. They offered to come out right away or first thing the next morning. We chose the morning, and by 7:30 AM their technician was at our door. He quickly confirmed the issue, took the motor back to the shop, and returned within about an hour and a half. Less than 20 minutes later, our A/C was up and running again. Even better, the total cost—even with weekend service—was nearly half of what the other company had quoted. Then again this past winter, our heat pump stopped working. S.J. Eaton came out the very next morning, diagnosed the problem in minutes, replaced a capacitor, and had our heat back on right away. Reliable, responsive, fair, and incredibly professional—S.J. Eaton has earned our trust. They’re our go-to for any HVAC or plumbing needs, and we highly recommend them.
The guy who came out to the house was clean, pleasant and quick to fix our issue. Very chatty, answered all of the 76 year old homeowner's many many questions! He offered excellent customer service. Whoever answers their phones, on the other hand, was rude and condescending. When I said I was a caregiver, I was immediately asked if there was a power of attorney for the homeowner and asked if I was aware that payment was due when services were done. I told her she was rude and out of line and she just kept saying she didn't mean to offend, she just wanted to make sure the homeowner could pay for any services done. I highly doubt she asks EVERYONE if they have a power of attorney and tries to make sure services will be paid for, I'd bet money that she just sets an appointment and that's it. At best, a mention that payment is due on the spot. Whether she meant to or not, she was highly offensive with how she handled a senior citizen who just wanted a toilet unclogged. Thankfully, the service guy was the total opposite, so we'll use the company again. The girl who answers the phone needs to learn some manners.
Our roof vent pipe needs to be cleared. Every professional I have asked to do it has told me I need a plumber. So I hired SJ Eaton. The receptionist (very grumpy) apparently didn't pay attention when I told her "vent pipe on roof," because a man came to the house expecting to come inside and stared vacantly at the roof before telling me they'd call to reschedule. When I was called a week later and set up the appointment, I once again mentioned the steep roof of our cape cod house. On the morning of the appointment, I was called by another receptionist who explained that after viewing the pictures from the first guy, the owner decided it was too steep for his men to do. Understood. As a caregiver for two family members, juggling doctor appointments , this was doubly frustrating . Just don't know why this wasn't decided before they had me change my schedule around to accommodate their arrival. Poor communication!!! Won't be hiring them for anything else.
They replaced our old outdated AC unit and gas furnace with a Carrier unit. Every step of the way was smooth going, from the estimate until the work was completed. They worked around my schedule to complete the whole job in one day! The guys that showed up(forgot their names) were knowledgeable, professional and VERY detailed oriented. When they were done, we couldn’t tell they were here as far as no mess! There was no hidden fees either. The estimate they gave was the same as the final bill. I would highly recommend S J Eaton to anyone. Thank you for restoring my faith in excellent customer service!!! Have the guys come back for a beer..Lol
If there is a zero star, I would never give a star, I called Eaton the number many times no answer forever and I call today again, that lady who picked up the phone is so rude! I remember she the one I called last year and she hung up on me after I said a few words, today I just said if they can come check and repair the hot water heater, she said nobody and I should call somebody else, and then I said it's not hurry I can wait, she said next week and hang up the phone again! Omg I am so mad , the lady so ridiculous , 😡😡😡never call them numbers again, on my block list forever
S j Eaton performed two major projects in our home over the past six months! Both times they did an outstanding job! Estimates were done, work was performed - all tasks were completed very professionally and efficiently! Technicians were very knowledgeable, took the time to answer all questions and performed all work in a very neat & clean manner! Highly recommend this company to for your plumbing & heating needs - to do it right!!!
We recently had them install a new heat pump and they were very prompt and efficient. They answered any questions we had, cleaned up when finished and explained how everything worked. They have also done plumbing and opened a very clogged kitchen drain. We think they are the best! We would recommend them to anyone who needs work done.
New customer. Responded to phone message within a half an hour. Stated they would be avail to fix the water issue that morning. Arrived on site quicker than expected. Stayed until the job was done. Quick, pleasant, clean, polite and helpful. They care about the job they do. Problem solved. Would definitely hire again. Thank you! 😁
I woke up at 5am with no water anywhere in the house... called and left a message at 5:30am as a new customer hoping they would get my message first thing when they opened. I received a return call at 5:51am! And they were there by 8:00am, that is exceptional customer service and they have a forever customer now!! Thank you!!
