Mr. Jose Sanchez was very effective and professional. He put the correct size of belt on my attic fan as soon as he had noticed the previous one was broken. Then, he told me that was possible to replace my 71 years old fan by a newer one that was more effective and quieter. (I did not know that a newer model was available). He noticed too that insulating now my attic would cool my rooms in Summer and warm them in Winter. I will consider his suggestions to update my home cooling! Thank you very much to Mr. Jose Sanchez!
I could ask for better service than I have received from RS Andrews Electrical. Starting with setting up the appointment with Drew. He was pleasant and professional. He handled my concern with compassion and explained the process as it would transpire. Come the appointed date and time, I received a call from a dispatcher. She continued the professional and courteous tone letting me know my electrician was on the way. Travon, I simply cannot say how pleased I am with his professionalism and the high level of customer service he provided. He seemed to know where the problem was but checked all other elements that may cause problems in the future. Finally, the cost of the service was below what I left, estimated. That is always a good thing. Yes, when Travon left, I had a R S Andrews smile on my face. Could not have asked for better.
My longtime tech at RS Andrews, David Rosati, was predictably on-time, professional, friendly, and efficient. During the course of performing a Winter maintenance check, he noticed my hot water heater was leaking, and brought this to my attention. Thank you, David Rosati! Well done.
I had a tankless hot water heater installed in May. I initially had issues with this company during the installation. The sales representative told me the wrong location for installation, which caused the price to increase. They had already removed the old hot water heater before informing me of the price to move it and the additional cost. I had agreed to the extra fee. Then they installed wiring without consent. I asked to speak to management multiple times throughout this process regarding the wiring and the cost. Neither Lowe's nor I could reach management regarding these issues. They started on a Wednesday, and I did not have hot water until Monday. The people they sent to install the tank did not install certain things up to code, so it failed inspection. They completely unhooked my gas meter and just threw it on the ground. It was exposed to the weather for two days. The manager came out on Monday morning to see what was going on. Monday at 5 pm, I finally had hot water. Fast forward to the winter months, I came home from work today to smell gas in my backyard. I had a Gas leak. The technician from the Gas company stated that the gas meter was not installed properly. Therefore, gas has been leaking due to improper installation by the company. I live in a residential neighborhood with a school 2 blocks away. When I received a call tonight asking to speak to corporate, the customer service representative apologized for the inconvenience. Calling the gas company because I smelled gas is not an inconvenience. The company's overall installation, customer service, and handling of all matters are what is causing the inconvenience. The fact that you asked whether I was calling to complain while speaking with a representative is baffling. A customer calling to tell you they had a leak for 7 months undetected due to work from your company, and that anything could have happened, is an "inconvenience". No, that is life-or-death. There is an elementary school 2 blocks away, and several houses nearby. Think about that the next time you call all of this an inconvenience. I do not recommend this company.
I will never use this company again. I had several hvac systems and used this company to service a few yrs ago. When I had a problem, the technician came in and before he even looked at my system, he claimed it wasn't covered. My AC wasn't working during the summer and the temperature in my house was reading 80s-90s. The technician went to his car and left without telling me anything. When I called the company, I was told the technician claimed I told him to leave. Why would I do this when my house was 90 degrees? I had to make several calls to get someone to come back out. I have since switched to another company and have had great professional service and no problems.
Caution this would be a long review, but if you don't want to read here is the short version: RUN, RUN, RUN. This company is awful and riddled with incompetent technicians, sales persons, and managers. Their incompetently installed HVAC unit caused water damage of over $10K and then it took the incompetent and arrogant operations manager whole three weeks to return our emails. Spare yourself any grief. Find another company. All our neighbors are now avoiding them too. Here is the long version: we hired RS Andrews to install a new Mitsubishi mini split system in our Buckhead high rise condo. Since this seemed to be a new system installation, we had our concerns with them being able to do the job. The salesperson assured us that the company takes care of their customers and that they will never leave us if something goes wrong. We felt comfortable but who knew that his promise would not be a big lie and a nightmare that lasted a month. The installation took three days with installer being constantly on the phone asking questions and consulting with 'his installation HVAC manager'. Once everything was installed, I asked why isn't there a drain pan under the heat pump. I had seen these units to leak water and since this equipment was installed in an HVAC closet on the balcony and any leaks would be trapped inside the closet. RS Andrews's technician said that heat pumps in this configuration don't condensate. I am not an expert and took his word. Then his HVAC manager came, inspected and confirmed that installation was done properly. Fast forward two weeks of using the heating mode, we discovered water in the room adjacent to the HVAC closet. RS Andrews sent a technician who came and said that he had never seen this type of equipment, can't do anything and left. The company then sent two other technicians who were supposed to install a drain pan under the heat pump. It took them half a day to remove the unit causing a damage along the way (did I say they are incompetent? let me say it again - incompetent and dangerous!). During this time, we discovered that the damage is beyond just a small leak and a mitigation company had to be called. This is when it became ugly. The company that was supposed to care for their customers removed the HVAC equipment leaving us without heat in the middle of winter. Even worse than that was the operations manager who started contesting the cause of the leak. After three days he disappeared and for three weeks didn't return our calls or emails asking for when we can get our equipment back and asking for reports from the technicians' visits. After three weeks the manager responded that he was on vacation and that they will refund and leave the insurance company deal with the aftermath. It took almost two months in the middle of winter going without heat to fix what these nincompoops did. So, if you made it to the end of this post, spare yourself the headache and anxiety from dealing with this incompetent nightmare of a company.
Do Not Trust RSAndrews! I found RSAndrews through TrustDale when I was in search of an HVAC company that I could trust to replace my heating and air system (including replacement of all units and ducts). They installed the system a few years ago. I recently needed a plumbing job completed and assumed that I could trust RSAndrews with plumbing jobs too - after all, they are a Trust Dale Company. So, I called RSAndrews for a plumbing issue that was causing my kitchen sink to drain slowly. After his diagnosis, the professional opinion of the RSAndrews plumber was to replace the horizontal iron pipe (which ran underneath my crawlspace) with PVC. I followed the plumber's recommendation and paid $6,500 for the work. Six weeks later, my kitchen sink began draining slowly again. I was very upset, as I'd just paid $6,500 for the plumber's recommended work. I began to question whether a simple snake through the drain would have actually solved my slow drainage issue. I call RSAndrews to complain. Soon after, I received a call back from a Manager (Jamie). While speaking with Jamie, he said that after iron pipes have been removed, it is "possible" for iron to settle and build up at the "vertical arm," causing blockage. The company (Jamie) sent out a different plumber the next day. The plumber ran a snake - which according to the plumber "pulled out very little cast iron pipe debris." I washed my dirty dishes shortly after the plumber left my home. Upon releasing the drain stopper, the dirty dish water left my drain in a matter of seconds. Witnessing this made me wonder (even the more) whether a snake (rather than a $6,500 job) would have solved the sink issue for which I originally contacted RSAndrews (a slow draining kitchen sink). I am at the disadvantage. Because I was not presented with the snake option, I will never know if a simple run of the snake would have cleared my slow drain, hence saving me thousands of dollars. Yes, the iron pipe would have had to be replaced with PVC eventually, but due to my unfavorable financial situation (as indicated by my need to finance some of the work), I would not have done this right away if it could have waited. When this was investigated by TrustDale, they were told that I would have had to have the pipes replaced sooner rather than later. But again...I should have been the one to decide "when" to have this done and "when" to spent my money. The decision was not RSAndrews' to make. This was an expensive lesson, but I have learned it!! I will not be using them again for plumbing nor for my HVAC maintenance.
UPDATE 4/18/26: After documenting a life-threatening exhaust/water-heater backdrafting emergency, the responsiveness from RS Andrews has been appalling. Nick called but did NOT disclose it was his last day, as later confirmed by Rolanda. Despite on-site confirmation of a hazardous safety issue, management (Albert) attempted to schedule a fix for April 21--leaving me in a home with active exhaust fumes. He found no issues with a "proposal" written on a $0 Receipt Note, despite clear issues detailed in my email. This proves that he either did not read or does not understand his job. A $0 Receipt Note is NOT a formal company proposal. Furthermore, this document contains Critical Legal & Professional Failures - this list is not exhaustive: 1. The proposal cites a South Carolina Mechanical License (#115146) for a Georgia property, making it legally void. - WARNING to future customers. make sure the license is from GA if you are located in GA. 2. The proposal cites an incorrect service address, potentially invalidating insurance coverage. - ANOTHER WARNING to potential customers. 3. INACCURATE and PADDED SERVICE SCOPE/PRICE: Technician Jose - no longer with company either - claims 'structural joist pocket' cutting is required ($1,500), yet the basement is open and requires only brick core drilling. Many of my specific requests were omitted from scope, making it impossible to claim if not installed - even if "included" in price. 4. Legal Disclaimers in Notes: A technician is NOT a lawyer and cannot override institutional contracts. Notes claiming "no responsibility for structural damage" contradicts standard professional liability for negligent installation. 5. The company is liable for the actions/inactions of of employees in R.S. Andrews vans/outfits. People SHOULD NEVER risk exposure to flue gases while this company ignores emails for days and violates codes. I will consider reporting this to the Georgia Secretary of State. 4/1/26: I called, they told me they did not do Combustion Air Intake installations. But they do. Then, I got a call back from Nick who was kind enough to listen and tell me that they could do that work. I told him I would call back if I needed them - I was having another company come over an check - I called back twice never to hear from Nick again. I still need this done (having a window open is not a long term solution). I hope they call and help so I can change my opinion on them.
We called RS Andrews for a Fall tune up on our Furnace- currently experiencing no problems or concerns, just a routine tune up... imagine my surprise when the service report emailed included suggestions for a $17,000 unit replacement! We scheduled our appointment on a Saturday morning from 8-9AM- receptionist called to state the tech was having problems with his truck and would be late, service tech arrived at 10:21AM and spent 90 minutes doing a routine tune up!?! After completing his tune up he emailed a report of services completed including checking the Evan coil, replacement of filter and inspection of blower, flue, motor and blower cap. Advisor told my husband that the motherboard was bad and motor housing had a crack that could be leaking CO gases into home (even though he ran a CO test and put on report that it was Good. Also, we have several CO detectors in our home- never having sensed an alarm). The work suggested included $4,250 of repairs and a large message reading "WE DO NOT RECOMMEND REPAIRING FURNACE DUE TO AGE (2006). WE DO NOT RECOMMEND OPERATING FURNACE." With further quotes for three furnace units suggested as replacements ranging from $17,000 to $12,000 and to complete ASAP. After not having any problems, being quite shocked by this quote/service recommendations we contacted another competitor to perform the exact same Fall Tune Up. The competitor sent a Senior Service Tech who completed job in less than an hour and also emailed a report of work completed which did not mention *any* of the work that the RS Andrews tech did and stated on report "All operations OK" I was very leery of the quote but after having a second opinion by another company and NONE of the repairs suggested nor a replacement were recommended; I simply cannot trust RS Andrews and would encourage other customers to seek a second opinion! One star for work/late tech, an extra star given just because the RS Andrews service advisor was kind and used shoe covers before entering the home.
I called RS Andrews earlier this week and the customer service reps were very personable and made me want to do business with them. They told me that the technician would give me a call before he came out my appointment was between 8 and 12 pm. The leak was somewhat identified by Cobb Water. I am up and ready at like 735am waiting for the Technician. No cal or text. He just knocks on the door like there's a zombie apocalypse outside or he was waking the dead. When I open the door he did not say good morning or anything he just looked at me and said well where is the leak? I responded it's right where Cobb County marked with a flag in the yard. Then in a gruff manner said it's. $495 to dig the whole yard up and look for the leak and then it will be additional money up to $1800 to repair it. I said well it seems as though I'm bothering you this morning and he said I drove an hour to get here. I responded but that's not my problem - that's between you and RS Andrews and he mumbled something and went out slammed his truck door. Plus he drove his heavy truck onto my driveway instead of parking on the street. Our interaction was up to five minutes before he stopped off to slam his car door loudly. When I got in the house I then received the text from him or somebody saying I am on my way to your house! I also received a survey which I was happy to fill out completely and submit. . I would not recommend this company for plumbing estimates or for anything and it's a good thing this was free because I would ask for my money back. He was not personable - he seemed like it was irritating to him that he had to drive for an hour and he hadn't even told me what the prices were so he couldn't be upset for driving out to the job and then me not signing up for it I live in Marietta but it is unprofessional for a rep of a company to display any type of dismay for his assignment to the customer and to a prospective customer !
I would caution anyone considering doing business with this company. I initially reached out to them after seeing positive reviews on BirdEye, but later discovered much less favorable feedback on other platforms. After enrolling in their maintenance membership, a technician came to inspect our unit and claimed it was in "terrible condition." He told us the system was unsafe and that we could be "in danger" if it continued running. Concerned, we agreed to meet with a sales representative shortly afterward to understand our options. When the technician returned, he showed us photos that allegedly demonstrated serious damage and told us the unit needed to be completely replaced. He even shut off our heating system and attempted to have us sign a document stating that our unit was "condemned." We refused to sign. Shortly after, a salesperson arrived offering to replace the system for approximately $18,000. When we declined, the salesperson contacted a "manager," who claimed another customer had canceled, and offered us a "special" deal of $16,000 with no money down and $253 monthly payments. We decided to get second and third opinions before agreeing to anything. Both independent HVAC companies confirmed that our system was in good working condition and well-maintained. I personally supervised both inspections and observed that their findings directly contradicted the photos and claims made by RS Andrews. In my opinion, this company uses high-pressure and misleading tactics to sell unnecessary replacements. They also stated that they handle maintenance for Home Depot and Lowe's customers--which, if true, is concerning. Since attempting to cancel my maintenance contract, I have had difficulty getting any response from their team. My recommendation: always get multiple opinions, never sign documents under pressure, and be cautious when dealing with large corporate service providers.

David is always very professional! David Rosati was very professional and checked out our new heat pump. He added vibration dampers to help with the noise the system was making and then proceeded to make sure it was working well. This was very much appreciated as we have been experiencing temperatures as low a 8 degrees. I'm always happy when David comes to service our HVAC. Terrell Thomas was very thorough and professional. i was very pleased with his service. He checked out both heat pumps and the three zones in my house and assured me all was working properly, a necessity with 24 degree weather. Both David Rosati and Amber Magnus were exceptional! Amber Magnus was very professional and quite helpful and knowledgeable! David was very thorough and did a great job as usual for R.S. Andrews employees. David explained everything he was doing and I enjoyed the time he spent explaining everything. Terrell did a great job and explained all he was doing and why the capacitor needed to be replaced. i was very happy with him. Nick Husley did a very thorough job. He was prompt, friendly, and answered all questions wel. Nikia was very thorough in checking out the AC system. I feel he was extremely honest in pointing out future repairs that may be needed. Nakia again was very thorough checking out the heating system. Ivan Medina was prompt and thorough in maintaining the AC system. He explained what he was doing and why some part needed to be replaced. He showed me the readings of the failing parts and the readings on the replacement parts.
We just moved into a new house and there a couple of little things we wanted to take care of (a drippy faucet, a slow drain, a faucet that wasn't tightly fitting on a sink- literally...THAT is the list). R.S. Andrews got our business because they returned my call. We set an appointment for 8:30 to 9:30 arrival today. While I had another vendor in my house last night for electrical, I received a call from R.S. Andrews to confirm. I did not answer because I was busy and knew we were not planning on changing the appointment. This morning, I got a call from them and the woman calling said, "we've been trying to get ahold of you (2 back to back calls at 7:14 and 7:15 last night), do you still want us to come?" Um. Yes. I don't routinely make appointments for the hell of it...or just in case...or because I'm lonely and want more people intruding. (I held in all of those responses but "yes"- pat on the back for me). The caller said, "oh, ok, we will try to get someone out there soon". It was 8:40 am. The plumber arrived at 10, no apologies- Looked at our faucet, said there was nothing he could do to fix it; Said he would charge us $400 to snake the slow drain and said he couldn't tighten the faucet. My wife smartly said Thanks, but no Thanks. And then, did the one thing I wouldn't and paid him for the visit. I'm calling them now to get my money back because I could have done what he did. DO NOT TRUST DALE ON THIS ONE.
Had my A/C inspected after an attempt to steal it occurred. Technician came from the Tucker, GA location, very pleasant guy. The major fail of this company came in their lack of follow through. I was told I would receive a diagnostic report by that evening via email. Over a week later and nearly 20 calls made, I keep getting the same lie, "I have sent your request to the department who will be sending your report today." They each had said the same lie each time. Some reps I have spoken with multiple times. Several have even gone as far as to state they will "escalate" it to manager of that area. I have not received a call or email from ANYONE. Called the number of the guy who called me the day of my service, that number on rings. I expressed to the technician the day he came out, to the "manager on duty" the tech called whwhile at my home and to rep at the Tucker office (probably a non-local call center), that my insurance company needed the report ASAP to complete the claim report and proceed with necessary next steps of repair. Which the repair is holding up contractors from being able to o complete other repairs inside the home because of the need for temperature control. I do not recommend doing business with ARS of Tucker, Ga, or this company if this is any indication how customer service is provided. Also filing complaint with the BBB.
