Outstanding service from Roto-Rooter. Even on a Sunday, they came right out, quickly diagnosed the issue, and fixed it on the spot. Professional, efficient, and the price was very reasonable. Couldn’t ask for better service.
Went to do a easy job and fix my shower head, when the piping from the wall just snapped. Frustrated and irritated I called Roto-Rooter to the rescue. Jeff came out and did a amazing job. He not only rescued me from showering in the unknown territory of the kids bathroom (kids are nasty), but he was extremely polite and helpful! Jeff if you see this, thanks again!
We had a pipe burst in our garage and a technician was able to come out same day to fix the issue and even came up with a solution to prevent this in the future. They explained everything that happened and what the fix was, and were very professional and courteous. They also sent out someone to check if we had mold in the walls from the leak which was very nice and complimentary service. Would definitely recommend and will use them in the future for any plumbing needs!
I scheduled an appointment to get an estimate for a slow-draining bathtub and bathroom sink drain. Michael arrived on time and was initially very friendly. He took a quick look at the tub drain and then came back with a quote of $875 to snake the drain and an additionally $875 to snake the sink. He then mentioned that he would do my sink for half price as a deal. I was honestly shocked. I told him—no disrespect—that I had never paid anywhere near that amount for this type of service. He asked what I usually pay, and I told him $250 at most. At that point, he said he could “call his manager” to see if they could drop the price for one day only, and that if I didn’t accept it immediately, the deal would not be available later. He left, came back, and suddenly the price dropped to $300. That alone was a huge red flag. I declined the service. Instead, I watched a YouTube video, went to Home Depot, bought a crank snake for $25, and fixed the issue myself in minutes. This experience felt incredibly predatory and unethical. Inflating a simple service to nearly $900 and then applying high-pressure, “limited-time” pricing tactics is unacceptable. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
Tim Dixon and Nick came out to fix emergency problems resulting from another contractor’s faulty tub install and leaking drain. They were professional, compassionate, and took great care with their explanations of problems and options. Tim worked hard to keep the price as low as possible and came back on his off day to help Nick finish up the last bits. I was very pleased. I think the Roto-Rooter hourly labor fees are much higher than our usual plumber, and therefore I might not use them for routine plumbing jobs, but for emergency services they would definitely be my go to. Excellent experience.
