My technicians were Mehdi and Conner - They were very nice, super efficient, and got the job done quickly! Had a bad clog in the main sewer line and they arrived right away...cleared everything up, good to go!

Our tech Medhi arrived on time and was able to locate the problem of our floor drain over flowing! He took care of the situation professionally and made sure we understood what was going on and how to prevent it in the future! Medhi let us know that we hadtwo clogs that are now cleared! One thing I was impressed with is Medhi spent his time with us to make sure we completely understood everything! I highly recommend Roto-rooter but make sure you ask for Medhi to be your tech! Thank you for taking such good care of our problem Medhi! The drains are flowing great and no problems so far! You were so great to work with!!

Daryn was awesome. So knowledgeable, helpful, and explained everything. He came literally 30-40 minutes after I called roto-rooter, which was far beyond my expectations. So happy he explained to us the issue, maintenance, and how to avoid future issues. Definitely will be using roto-rooter always and asking for Daryn! Thank you!!!!

I just wanted to add that NO ONE should use this company ever. They are thieves that caused a huge problem! I called them in Nov. of 2005. We needed our drain cleaned out and they had two guys come out. After they kept taking smoke breaks and stinking up my air, I finally said I have to get to work, here's my credit card. They said they would finish it up. When I came home, the sewer was still clogged and they had cut their line and left it to further clog my pipes. They charged my Discover card $500. I had to pay another company Drain-Away to come out and get the clogged line plus install a clean-out. I would not have had to pay extra for a clean out if I would have had Drain-Away from the beginning. Drain-Away understands that the older neighborhood homes have smaller pipes and it requires smaller jaws on the cable. If only I would have known from the beginning. After this disaster, I looked up this company on the internet and found that they have a lean against them as well.

They rescheduled so much we went with someone else. They gave us a 4 hour window and at our first scheduled appt it was an hour outside of that window with no ETA so we rescheduled for the following day. Same issue, they missed the 4 hour window with no ETA. After we rescheduled again and the same issue occurred we decided to go with another company that was able to come within an hour. I should mention that they confirmed the time window each morning and still could not accommodate us.

After 21 years in a now 44 year old home, I had the sewer back up through a basement drain. Never a problem before. Not knowing a good plumber, I called RR, since I had seen their ad's on TV. It was about 10pm on the day before Memorial Day but they advertized 24/7 service with no extra charge for out of hours service. I got the national dispatch who said someone could come out between 10 and 12 am the next day. OK. They said they do not give estimates for cleaning the sewer line until they arrive at the site. OK, I figure I'm not going to get help any sooner, so OK. He arrived the next day within the time window, and told me that it would be $279 to clean out the line. I told him that I was expecting it to be less. (I had seen on the web that the average charge in my area was about $150. I also had seen a coupon from RR for $50 off a line cleaning.) I told him to go ahead. He did his job and told me that it felt like there was an off-set between two pieces of pipe that I needed to get fixed. Otherwise, the sewage would wash the dirt out from underneath the line and it would sag even more. He said he could get a guy out that afternoon to video the line. I asked him how much that would cost and he answered $250. But he would give me $100 off that price if I would order it today. I told him OK. Then he said that I might as well pay for the the video service while paying for the cleaning so that I would be sure of getting the $100 off. So all together I payed $329. About an hour later, the new guy called me and said that he was really backed up and asked me if it would be all right if he came tomorrow (the day after Memorial Day.) I said that would be OK. The next day he came out and I watched him video the line. There was a spot where the line staged for 5-6 feet to the point the line was filled with water. There were no places where the pipe was offset from itself. He told me that the whole line needed to be replace and it would cost $13,000. I said that would try to find that much money. He said that If I was going to sell my home in the next year or so, I could just have the line within my yard replaced for $6,000 and that would fix the worst part of the line. The line under the sidewalk might last for another five years, but I should really replace the whole thing. I asked how long was their warranty. He said that it was 20 years if they replaced the whole line, but it would only be 10 years if they just replaced the part in the yard. But he then said, "To tell you the truth, if any thing is going to go wrong, it will happen in the first year." He indicated that I should have the line fixed as soon as possible before it clogged again. He could have a crew out the next day and they could finish the job that same day. I asked for a written quote and decided to get other estimates. The first plumber's secretary said the could come out and give me a free quote in about a week. That would include a free line video. The next plumber called me back and asked me about the condition of my line. I described the problems that RR identified. To summarize his remarks: Those crooks, I always get called in after them. They've said the line needs replaced when it doesn't. Your line should be fine given its condition. The third plumber said that replacing the line was kind of extreme after just one backup. You could pay for a lot of annual clean outs, for the cost of replacing the line. Note, most plumbers in the area offer to do a clean out for $100-150. After considering the events, I have decided to never do business with RR again. You can make up your own mind.

This company is criminal I would never reccomend them to anyone. Had roto rooter come out to clear a main sewer line. I was told it was fixed but it backed up a few days later. No damage yet just backed up in the bathtub. They had to pull the toilet to use there machine to clear the line. They never notified me or other tenants to not use water and they left the water to the building on. While the toilet was pulled another unit started using water which caused a sewage overflow causing over $20,000 in damages. And that’s not Even the worst of it tens told me That my main sewer line was collapsed 60 ft away from the building and Quoted me over $25,000 to dig it up and repair it. So I had another company come out for a second opinion and they cleared the sewer line no problem and used there camera to prove there’s no damage to my sewer line. I was told that a manager would call to discuss the damages to my property caused by there plumbers. No one has called and I’ve called them every day since and they are completely ignoring me.

A victim of road rage from rotor rooter van, nearly running me into oncoming traffic then running a red light, all of this was on front and rear cameras in my car. I was upset and contacted rotor rooter's customer service to inform them of their drivers dangerous driving habits to have them run me around and imply that this didn't happen that really upset me. I got home and noticed they only put five star reviews on rotor rooter's website, I reviewed their website and many other websites to find misleading information to customers on their website. My question is for future customers, are they being honest and are they concerned with quality service, costs and safety practice? Hopefully this review will encourage future customers to use their diligence on reviews potentially saving them from bad advertising and poorly run company that seems to be content not being concerned with employee discrepancies!

Roto-Rooter replaced my entire wastewater line, from the front access point all the way to the tap. It was a major job—my line was deeply buried, I had delicate landscaping, and it required about 50 feet of new pipe to be installed. The team at Roto-Rooter was professional, careful, and considerate throughout the entire process. They took the time to explain their recommendations clearly, and their execution was efficient, precise, and minimally disruptive. The pricing was very reasonable for the scope of work, especially considering the quality and care they put into the job. They even made sure everything was cleaned up and looked great when the work was done. I couldn’t be happier with their work and would confidently recommend them for jobs of any size.

This company is unprofessional and unreliable. They deserve a 0 star review. I called them on a Sat at 12 pm with a big emergency. All the pipes at my business freezed up and exploded. There was water was everywhere! I called these people and they told me that the soonest they could come was at 5 pm, but if they have any cancellation they might come earlier. They called me at 8 pm and said the next plumber would be not be able to come until Tuesday! We lost the whole day waiting for them without a call and thinking I was in good hands. I wasn't! This company doesn't deserve any business. Never again calling them. it looks like they don't need regular customers anyways...

What an awful company with awful (non-existent) service. My husband waited over 5 hours for roto-rooter to show up within the 4-hour window. At the end of the window, we got a call from the out-of-state dispatch telling us the tech would be late, but they didn't know when. They were supposed to clean the sewer line for a property we were selling. When asked if they would scope and send us a video of the cleaned sewer (which was required by the buyers), they told us they couldn't do that because of "liability". What?!? Liability as in proof that they DIDN'T do the job they were paid for. I would give them ZERO start if possible. Don't call them. Worst ever.

DO NOT USE. These guys will clear you out... Of money and patience. They broke a camera in our pipes, by literally cutting it, then charged us for the broken cam. They were trying to be nice, but continued to say they were not being paid enough. We also had to pay for another technician to come in and help, double time. Before he left we grabbed towels to help him clean it up, but instead he said, "no, I don't clean up, you're not paying for that service". We had mud and feces all over our floor from them pulling out the camera 8 hours later. They laughed at our expense and made it clear we were inferior to them. Not fun.

Roto-rooter has the absolute worst customer service. Our bathroom has been clogged for a week, and still no sign of hope. They attempted to repair it last week, and were unsuccessful. Here we are a week later, and still can’t get anyone to fix it. On top of that they want to charge us an additional $2300 to do the same thing I just spent $2300 on. Why should I have to pay for a failed repair again? I’ve tried to get ahold of a manager for the last two days, but I assume they are too busy with other angry customers to give me the time of day. Save your money, time and energy and hire anyone other than them.

I first called Roto Rooter several years ago after having other companies out that practice high pressure sales and are untrustworthy. I was hoping Roto Rooter could help me with an ongoing drain problem in my house. Adam came out and quickly located and cleared the clog without any high pressure sales or gimmicks. I was so impressed I have been using Roto Rooter exclusively ever since with each call the same great service. I would highly recommend requesting Adam as he not only gets the job done but goes over and above to answer any questions and help with preventative ideas to keep my drains flowing.

I had a miserable experience on Friday after waiting many hours and finally giving up. Today Mohammed Khellaf came and he made up for yesterday. He was patient and kind and professional. He had to snake the drain twice to relieve the clog in the kitchen drain. That meant taking it apart and putting it together twice. I negotiated a price I can afford. I gave him a five star rating. It made up for all of the frustration of waiting almost six hours yesterday. Please put his in his file. He is the kind of employee that RotoRooter should value. I will be sharing that with others.
