Cameron was our service tech. He will own the company someday. He was knowledgeable, extremely polite and professional, and got the job done above and beyond. He encountered unexpected problems, provided solutions, and saved us tens of thousands of dollars on a repair on damage that wasn't our responsibility. He is a rock star in my book. Cameron and Robert are our heroes. Give both of them a big bonus. I'm keeping Cameron's number for any future repairs I may need. He's raised my faith exponentially in the next generation. Stephan
Roto-Rooter was amazing. They arrived 40 minutes early, were very professional, and responded within two hours of my call for a backed-up toilet that flooded our basement. They handled the situation quickly, vacuumed up the water, and deodorized as much as possible. In a stressful situation, they were efficient, respectful, and thorough. I’m very grateful for their help and would definitely recommend them.
I am very pleased with my experience, and will use Roto-Rooter going forward for anything plumbing related. Our technician Sean was fantastic and knowledgeable, offering us insight as well as being very transparent with pricing as well as what work was going to be done. Couldn't recommend them more!
Both professionally and at home these guys have left me hanging. Twice while at work I've been required to use the services of Roto-Rooter, and both times their on call guy wouldn't answer the phone. I dealt with backed up sewage both times, and waited for a call back that never happened. Called earlier today for a water heater issue at home, and still have not received a call back 4 hours later. This is not a mistake I will make again.
Confirmed with This business that it is the correct business, left message and waiting for call-back. This is the end result of Roto Rotor of Windsor CO charging over $7,000+ over two years. I do not recommend them for any type of work. This 10" pipe was damaged by them and they could not find this root clog 5' from the access point. Expect repeat charged service calls because it was never fixed in the first place. We were told well it looks normal.
One star is too generous...Absolute worst costumer service I have ever experience. Zero character in the owner (Bonnie) and one of the drivers (Jack). First scenario was in March 2018. They stated that, "I had to be present at my house for my septic vault pumping;" therefore, I had to take a personal day off work (8 hours) to be there. It was a NO SHOW. I called them asking for an explanation and was told, "the driver [Jack] had additional work to do and wasn't able to come up that day but would be there tomorrow." With that being said, I had to take another personal day off of work (8 more hours) to be there. Again, it was a NO SHOW. Extremely irritated at this point, I followed up with a phone call for an explanation..."The driver, Jack, had additional work to do and couldn't come up that day, but he will be there the following business day which would be three days from then." They also mentioned that I would receive a 10% off discount but that's all that they could do. So, waiting a long weekend without the use of water to prevent the septic from backing up, I had to take yet another day off of work (total of 24 personal vacation hours at this point) to be present. Long story short, the driver, Jack, finally showed up -- two hours late -- and pumped my septic which I then paid for ($433.50). Second scenario: I swore I would never use this company again, however, I was in need of my septic vault being pumped and they claimed that they could come up the following day. Stating I had to be present for the septic vault pumping, I again had to take a personal day off work (8 hours) to be there. I live in a gated community and had previously unlocked the gate expecting the driver, Jack, to be on time (between 11:00am and 1:00pm). Two and a half hours go by and I received a call from the driver, Jack, claiming that the gate was closed at 3:00pm so he couldn't come conduct the job and that it was my fault the gate was closed (THOUGH HE WAS 2 HOURS LATE and didn't attempt to call me for the gate code or for me to come unlock the gate). Trying to keep my composure I called the company and asked to speak with a manager. Nobody was able to help and said that they would come pump my septic vault FIRST THING in the morning the next day and that I wouldn't have to be present this time. They also mentioned that they will compensate me with a larger discount. After calling numerous times throughout the day, they stated that the driver, Jack, finally finished around 3:00pm...nowhere near "first thing in the morning", and after checking the job he DIDN'T EVEN PUMP THE ENTIRE VAULT. Not receiving an invoice/bill for 6 months, they called me stating I need to pay my bill ASAP. Trying to explain my side of the story to the owner, Bonnie, she was completely RUDE, NASTY, and DISRESPECTFUL...yelling and literally calling me a liar. This is, in my opinion, not how a manager should treat their clients nor anybody in fact. After threatening to take me to collections, I decided it wasn't worth my time and I paid my invoice (which was $570.00 this time...$136.50 MORE than the first time they pumped my septic vault and they PUMPED LESS waste). I highly DO NOT recommend this company and if you are looking for a company that takes pride in their work, FIND SOMEONE ELSE!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I honestly don't even know where to began. I was scheduled for a job that would take 1-2 days max. It took 9 days for them to complete the work and to this day I am left with incomplete work because of their own poor planning.. The office had no problem charging me for all the bids despite the work not being done. In plumbing there has to be a linear process so that you are not constantly having to pivot due to mistakes. This was not the case at all with this company. It was constant road blocks because of their ineptitude. For example, we did not have running water for 3 whole days because they didn't have the right parts, despite telling us two days in a row we would have running water the next day. They also didn't install the pipes correctly because we had to have them come back for leaks. Not to mention they installed the shower valve wrong and both the tub faucet are sticking off the wall and the overflow pipe. These are basic things a plumber should know how to plan for. They require accuracy. When I told them the faucet was sticking out they told me we would have to cut the tile and hardy backer to make it work. Despite us showing them the materials we were going to use-- how could they not plan for this? It makes no sense. There is so much more I can share about the ineptitude including getting grease finger prints all over brand new fixtures, a new butcher block, and not cleaning up after themselves at all. I even had to run to the store to get a 12 in toilet line so they wouldn't leave us without a toilet on day 4. The incompetance coupled with the lack of customer service is not worth any money you might be saving by working with them. We are not the type to leave negative reviews but this job has left us utterly dissappointed despite spending thousands of dollars. We even bought them beer to take home after the first day bc we wanted to show we appreciated their work. Never again will I use this company.
BEWARE. Can I give zero stars? Absolutely disgraceful customer service. Unprofessional, dishonest, inconsistent, and outright disrespectful. Scheduled to have our septic pumped in October by Jack. Was asked to be present, therefore took a full day of PTO. Jack did not show up and later called saying he did not have a gate code. Rather than calling to get code, he turned around and went back to town claiming he had other jobs to complete that day, therefore a full day wasted. They assured us that they would make things right and provide quality customer service. When they finally made it they DID NOT PUMP THE SEPTIC TO ENTIRETY. Also-- no invoice was left nor communication made regarding an invoice. 3 months later and they began calling demanding the full amount and no joke-- told us we were dishonest. Attempted to explain the situation and come to a resolution with the manager, Bonnie. She was immediately unprofessional and accused us of being dishonest (claiming that we just did not feel like paying). She was also claiming various inconsistent claims (such as never be asked to be at the residence). She refused to hear us out or offer any resolution, other than threatening to send us to collections if not paid in full. We each hold excellent credit scores and would be happy to pay a company who has provided a service FULLY! Not pumping the septic to entirety demonstrates inadequate and unprofessional service. This is not our first disappointing experience with this company. They had several consistent no shows 6 months prior to this incident, resulting in over 5 days of a full septic with the inability to use water to avoid overflow. Bad customer service will only hurt your business in the future.
Labor warranty? In August we had roto rooter inspect a sewer line on a home we had a contract on. They identified a crack outside the house and we negotiated the cost of lining the sewer from the house out to the street. 7 weeks later and we were struggling with poor air quality in our newly purchased home. My puppy happened to dig a hole just outside our foundation and it filled with water. We found that 10ft under our house our exposed cast iron pipe had broken and there was a 1/4 crack in the pipe that had been leaking sewage for some time. Roto rooter quoted us $2000 to repair it sometime next week. They confirmed that it was not cracked during the inspection 2 months ago. I asked if there was a possibility that when lining the same sewer with a mini excavator to dig it out if there is a chance they aggravated our old cast iron piping enough to crack it. They’re response, “Cast iron pipe is really strong and they are 100% certain they could not have damaged it. But also that cast iron pipe can be really fragile and it’s shear coincidence that it broke after they repaired the sewer.” I will never use roto rooter again. We had a local plumber give us a quote, and he repaired it that same day and warranties all his parts and labor. I would rather use a company that I can trust
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Had them scheduled to show up at one of our restaurants. Made the appointment on a Thursday for the upcoming Monday morning at 6AM. Called Sunday to confirm never heard from anyone. My tech arrived on site to meet their tech at 6AM. No one showed up. 8:30AM no one was still there. Finally after getting the run around at the office they tell me they need to reschedule for Tuesday morning at 8AM. My tech arrives on site Tuesday morning at 8AM. No one shows up. I call the office several times i get the run around again. 9:15AM the office tells me that the appointment was scheduled from 8-9AM and I told them well its 9:15AM and no one is here. Then they tell me that they were in a meeting and will be there soon. I have my tech stay on site waiting for their tech to show up. 9:45 I received a call from the manager and she tells me their equipment for the work I need completed is out of service.... Not only has this company now waisted my office's time, my technicians time x2 and gas and miles on our company vehicle to meet them at the restaurant. Now their equipment is broken all the sudden...? The manager did apologize but I will not be using this company ever.
Jeremy was very professional and careful while dealing with installation of our new faucets. We really liked the way he worked.we would really take his help in future for any plumbing related works. One year down the lane One of the toilet flush they changed stopped working which was done on June 2023 confirmed by the front desk lady. Now it is one year and one month. I was told one year warranty on labor and now when called they say it exceeded by one month so will be charging another 150 on labor per hour on top of the product they installed which didn’t last one year. Won’t recommend them anymore and Jeremy who I would recommend any day is not working there as well. I went with another company Polar bear. They were very nice and fixed everything for 40 dollars compared to 150 per hour estimate from this company on a work which they were supposed to do it on warrant in first place.
Don't use this company. They cleary don't care about their customers or how to handle a mistake. Had Roto-rooter scheduled for an sewer scope inspection for my client. They had a 3 hour window with which to show up and do the sewer scope inspection. Upon making a second call and leaving messages to reach the technician, he final calls 10 min. before our window to inspect was closed. He tell's me they over booked him. He's in another town, so he won't be coming. There I am Shit-out-of-luck. It's not just me, now I have to make good with my customer for making the mistake of try Roto-Rooter. My advice, don't use this company. Things may happen, but there was no attempt to even for warn me they might not make and that they couldn't make it. They also did nothing to try and make good on the situation. Just, " so I'm not going to make there.".
We have been struggling to get a sewer line repaired for 2 weeks, and have had a rocky relationship with the original company that agree to take the job. It's a complicated job with a super deep pipe (>15'). We called Roto-Rooter, Keith came out the same day, gave us a number of options, recommended excavators that he trusted that he knew would do the job, and was super honest with us. He freely gave us his time and a camera scope, and treated us kindly. We contacted Roto-Rooter, and Keith specifically, on the recommendation of our Realtor (who had reached out to some other realtor friends). 4 of our realtor's friends independently recommended Keith to us. This company (including the front-desk personnel that originally took our call) treated us with respect every step of the way, and Keith in particular just kicked butt. We're extremely grateful.
After having been out of septic facilities for 36 hours, roto rooter pulled into our driveway and left stating they would need to come back two days later to do a location of our septic tank and then proceeded to advise they would not be able to pump our tank for an additional 4 days. We are tenants and this is what our property manager advised us that roto rooter informed her of. However, he did personally tell us he would need to have someone else come and locate the tank even though my husband pointed to him the possible location of the tank, in which roto rooter showed no interest in following up with ....B&J septic ended up coming out a couple of hours later, located the tank and had it pumped out within a little over an hour. I will never contact roto rooter for services following the treatment by them.
