Absolutely top tier performance. Had a shower diverter and toilet installed along with a leaky hot water line replacement. All within the timeframe allowed and without issue. Straightforward pricing that didn’t change even after hitting a slight bump in the road. Very satisfied.

Communication could be much better. They kept rescheduling my appointment and no one called to update me. When the plumber finally arrived, he seemed in a hurry and didn’t fully explain the issue.

Service wasn’t great. Pricing felt higher than expected and they didn’t give a clear estimate beforehand. The repair worked for a week, then the same problem returned. Not the reliability I was hoping for.

Our experience with this company was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The first technician came out to diagnose the issue, using two different snakes. While it cleared things temporarily, we were led to believe this was a permanent solution. He also did not have a camera, so we had no clear understanding of the actual condition of our pipes. The second technician came for the “free camera inspection” (which we had to remind the company about). He mentioned milling and re-lining as options but failed to disclose that milling could compromise the integrity of the pipe—a critical piece of information in making our decision. When we asked if milling could be done the same day, he told us it required two technicians. Instead, the company sent a third technician alone. My wife found him unprofessional—on FaceTime frequently, not wearing protective booties inside, leaving a mess behind, and appearing uncertain in his work. He didn’t close the cleanout properly (causing a drip), created a larger hole in the wall outside of the one created for him, and even did tasks unrelated to milling. We later learned that milling is supposed to be a one-time procedure. Yet, their team attempted it a second time, which further compromised the pipe and left us with two holes instead of one. When we raised concerns, the company sent the same technician back with a supervisor. This individual had already caused significant stress for my wife, and his return felt careless. To make matters worse, he sped recklessly through our neighborhood (we have video evidence), then awkwardly parked across the street until his supervisor arrived. Overall, this was one of the most unprofessional service experiences we’ve ever had. The lack of communication, disregard for our home, and poor workmanship not only failed to resolve the issue but made things worse. We strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

Our kitchen sink was simply not draining at all due to some sort of blockage. It had 5-7” of standing black water. I contacted Rocket Plumbing through their online scheduling app late on a Saturday night. Fortunately we were able to wait until Monday morning to speak with someone to actually talk about the situation and get a time slot. We were lucky that it wasn’t a big emergency situation. They were finally able to fit us in on Tuesday afternoon. Geoff cleverly drained both greasy sink basins with a pump and hose directly to our outside catch basin and then used a rod to clear the pipes. He pointed out that one pipe on the far right was pretty rusted and also had prior signs of leaking. During the rodding process from another pipe—that rusted pipe broke so that meant that it definitely needed replacing. Since the other two pipes were the same age, so we decided to replace all three at the same time during this same house call charge.

Couldn't with good conscience not leave a review. Called Rocket Plumbing for a sewer jetting, and was told by the technician that my sewer was collapsed and I would need a $10,000 overhaul of my system. Called another company and they jetted my system, and sent me the full video of the jetting from Chicago's sewer all the way to my catch basin with no fuss (at nearly 1/15th of the $10,000 quote by the Rocket Plumbing). Without doing any work (he was here 15 minutes) the Rocket Plumbing technician charged me $200 just for showing up and then clearly just didn't want to do the job he was sent out for. Never again.

We were experiencing water coming in on the ground floor, and had several plumbers with very expensive and intrusive recommendations. The plumbers from Rocket were the first ones to thoroughly explain the issue and ask enough questions to get to the best solution. They rodded the sewer line and showed that it is now clear, and recommended hydrojetting in the near future to take care of remaining root intrusion. Great communication: clear and thorough without all the smoke. I was impressed with the setup, putting down tarps and covering things with plastic, and cleaning up well when they left. Highly recommend.

Just had Geoff come out and help me with an overflowing toilet in our guest bathroom that was causing issues for us and our downstairs neighbors. He was extremely mindful and took the time to explain what happened to me and offered to provide different options to help address our concerns. He also was patient and answered all my questions and did an awesome job with handling the nervous wreck that i was during this whole process. He made a stressful situation not suck near as much as i had originally anticipated. Beyond grateful for his positive attitude and expert knowledge.

I’ve reviewed three quotes for the exact same plumbing work. Yours came in at $11,000, while the others were $3,200 and $4,100. I’m going to be honest — your price is sitting way up there with the stars. For the scope of work described, that number just doesn’t make sense. I appreciate the time you took to provide an estimate, but at that price point it’s not even in the same ballpark as the realistic market rate. I’ll be moving forward with someone more reasonable. This is what happens when your technician takes the quote right out of his grASS. Thanks, Ray

These guys are our "go to" plumbers and once again, they were there for us. We recently had some mitigation due to water damage, so I asked them to check out a spot on the ceiling -- sure enough, it was mold, and they couldn't figure out where it was coming from. So I called Rocket Plumbing. Luis patiently observed the pipes until he diagnosed the leak -- he replaced the leaky spots and recommended some additional steps to ensure this doesn't happen again. We were relieved and pleased with the work. There's a reason we always call Rocket Plumbers!

Rocket Plumbing continues to be one of the best plumbing services in the Chicago area. This time they helped take a look at my tankless water heater which has never been serviced since we owned our home (and probably not been serviced by previous home owner). Not only brought the unit back up to prime shape, Geoff caught an installation error where the recirculation pump configuration on the water heater wasn't properly configured! Top notch expertise, politeness, friendliness, and straightforward in their explanations.

Geoffrey from Rocket was right on time as scheduled, completed removal, delivery and install and out the door in slightly more than 90"min. He and his assistant were very neat, using tarps on the carpeted areas, and very careful maneuvering a staircase with landing. Also kudos to Rocket, I discovered my slow leaking tank at 4p on Thurs, and they put me in Fri morning at 10a. Godsend, since we leave on vacation tomorrow morning!! So GREAT service, fast and neat, and very pleasant techs. I highly recommend Rocket Plumbing.
