Alright, enough with the fun. I could tell I woke Ryan up and I felt bad. But he showed up at our house within like 10 minutes of me calling him. He didn't just snake our drain and save our house from flooding, he went above and beyond and checked the pipes with a camera and marked out in our yard where the pipe is underground as he explained the next steps to properly fix our problem. Ryan at Rhino Rooter was a total lifesaver. We went all Sunday without being able to use any water due to a main sewer line clog. A large chain plumbing company spent an hour trying to fix it with no luck and then quoted us $2,000 for the next steps. We called Rhino Rooter for a second opinion, and Ryan came out late on a Sunday, quickly cleared the clog, and charged only a few hundred dollars. He was professional, honest, and efficient. We’ll absolutely use him again and highly recommend him to anyone needing a trustworthy plumber.

Ryan came by to inspect the problem caused by water logging on the ground from incomplete drainage of water from the down spouts that connect with the gutters on the roof of our house on April 17, 2025. My wife told him we have quality gutter guards (with mesh) cleaned twice a year but despite that we have a problem. She said she had seen online reports that "hydro-jetting" a process that involves clearing blockages in the underground drains with high speed water jets under pressure can help resolve the problem. She told Ryan that that she had called his company because his company had advertised that they provide drain clearing and hydro-jetting services. Ryan said he had the hydro-jetting equipment and could do the work right-o-way for $750 an hour because it was labor intensive work that required the use of specialized tools and experience of doing the work! He explained that regardless of cleaning the gutter guards regularly excess water can back up from the underground drains due to build up of debris over time so that instead of the overflow water being transported by the drains below our home to the storm drain it would back up and result in water logging! His quote was high but based on what Ryan had said it appeared that it may be the sensible option to preserve our home drainage system. My wife told Ryan to do the work. After an hour and a half Ryan said he was done and give an evaluation of the work he had done. At that point I joined my wife and met him. Ryan said that unfortunately he had only partial success with hydro-jetting one of the drains because the other drains were clogged with weeds and overgrown roots etcetera over time that is seen in "mature" neighborhoods. Ryan recommended we hire another company to replace the drains because they are not salvageable but that is not a job his company does. We were disappointed and felt short changed literally because we had to part with $1,000 for the partial hydro-jetting work with no benefit because his recommendation was for all the drains to be replaced anyway! By the way I wouldn't be any the wiser on smarter options had I not found a company much to my surprise that offered to provide an estimate of drain replacement work after making their assessment with camera pictures etcetera. This company offered a complete solution and informed me based on their evaluation of the pictures of the overgrown weeds that replacing all the drains was the only option and hydro-jetting was never an option! All this for free as an estimate. This other company told me exactly what I could expect but regrettably I did not find them first or I would have saved $1,000 on an unnecessary expense to Rhino Rooter!

When everything works out it's great, but when there's a problem that's when you find out the integrity of a contractor. And my callback would have been a few minutes fix. Being strung along is frustrating especially after you pay a little chunk of cash. Paying someone else to correct the fix is disappointing but you have to move on. Solace is telling the 4 neighbors who asked me last week if I knew a plumber--who not to call. Ignoring my small problem is really nothing, but someday you'll ignore the wrong client and so good luck with the CSLB.

Can not say enough good things about Ryan with Rhino Rooter! We reached out to Rhino Rooter to have a gas line relocated while replacing our roof. This was definitely a surprise for us as when we had the old roof removed, there was a gas line running along the plywood sheating. The county inspector would not let us cover up the roof until we had the gas line relocated properly. We started to panic as rain was projected in the forecast at the end of the week and our roof was wide open. We called Rhino Rooter and Ryan was super quick to answer the phone! Ryan has done outstanding work for me twice. This past summer, I did a simple bathroom refresh - new vanity with faucet install and a new toilet. Wow and Wow. What great service! It’s so refreshing to find a company that cares about their work and customers. I called Ryan on a Friday morning to ask about a sewer issue, I was having. He asked if he could come over and do a camera inspection. Come to find out, I needed a jet-flush of my sewer line and Ryan booked it for the following Monday. I am still so impressed with the professionalism, respect and dedication Ryan puts into his work. He was fast and he explained what he was doing and his findings. I gladly paid him because for the first time, I felt like I had just made a friend. I know who I will call if I have a plumbing issue in the future. Ryan, thanks again for the great customer service. I can echo much of what has already been said about Ryan's service. He was thorough, thoughtful and clear about each step he took throughout the process. I had two plumbers out before him to assess a strange squeeling sound coming from my pipes. Both plumbers failed to properly assess the problem, and even though we could not recreate the problem while Ryan was here, he was able to provide a clear solution with a pressure regulator valve explaining how it would work, and how it would likely address the problem. He then laid out what we could do if it did not work. The second plumber I had out provided a future plan too, but the explanation was unclear and did not seem at all logical to what we were facing. I'd highly recommend Ryan for any plumbing needs you have.

I have a very long french drain that handles the yard behind my hosue as wel as the pool when it rains. It started to back up with teh recnt rains and soil saturation. Ryan answered my call within minutes and gave me confidence that he knew what he was doing following our phone call. He arrived promptly and handled a drian thatg was well over 100 feet. It was 35 years old and a rippled drain so he used the proper pressure so the tubing wouldn't be damaged. He aslo explained ways in which I could help prevent future clogging of the drain. We used a standard plumbing company sevearl years ago that didn't take care of the entire like Rhino Rooter did. He will definitely be the one I will be using on the future.

Our garbage disposal stopped working. I called two companies before calling Ryan at Rhinorooter. The first two companies asked for all of my information, wasted a bunch of my time and offered no help. Didn’t even call me back! I then tried Rhinorooter. Ryan himself answered my call and offered to stop by that same day! What’s even better is he gave me some useful tips to fix the situation myself, resulting in no cost to me and actually helping me figure out the real Problem! AND - to go a step further, Ryan referred a quality electrician to me help get the situation resolved. One of the most professional And kind services I have ever received! Ryan came and hooked up our new outdoor grill set to our natural gas line. It's so fabulous being able to use natural gas instead of propane. Ryan was thorough making sure everything was done right and worked. Poor Ryan is going to have to come back because the conversation kit I bought only came with half of what I needed ( thanks Costco). But Ryan was so professional and kind we are excited to use his services again. While he was here I mentioned my daughters shower growls when running. He took time to check it out and fixed that too.
