Please believe the bad reviews. I had an atrocious experience with these people . I had a water main break in the middle of the night and when I was aware of it, I called Rescue Rooter by 5:00 a.m..They didn't tell me exactly when the emergency 24-hour plumber would come and when I called back in a while to find out, they said between 8:00 and 10:00. Well, the plumber didn't show up until 1:30! By then, I had already called the fire department to shut off the water source at the meter, which I couldn't do and which the people at Rescue-Rooter did not inform me about until hours after the leak happened and damaged the flooring and sheetrock in the finished basement. So when the guy came he didn't have to find the leak, he didn't have to stop the leak, all he did was attach a hose to the meter as a temporary fix to feed water into my house at one of the hose spigots. AND THEN I WAS CHARGED $1000 FOR 2 HOURS OF WORK!

Bad experience. They gave me a 4 hour arrival window, but never showed up. When I called to ask about their status, I was told I'd get a call from a tech with an update, but that never happened. Would strongly recommend hiring another company. UPDATE: In their response, Rescue Rooters asks that I reach out to them directly. Unfortunately, it appears that when you reach out to these folks it goes to a call center, so this invitation is just posturing in hopes that others will still use their services. I recommend folks steer clear.

Literally the first online review I've ever felt the desire to actually write. We recently had a pretty catastrophic sewer line failure (to a septic system, no less, not city sewer hookup), and I was so impressed with how they handled everything. We are no stranger to old homes, nor the difficulty in repairing them, especially when surprises come up. And ours threw it out in spades. Long story short- we were very impressed by Jordan and Joseph (and their apprentice/journeyman who's name I am appalled that I forgot). They were meticulous, transparent, and they really took their time troubleshooting what ended up being a complex plumbing repair. Every step of the way they were open about what they were doing and why....communication was fantastic. They also had to pivot multiple times due to one repair no longer being viable (i.e., digging too close to our foundation which would have cracked it) and troubleshooting the next step. Were there frustrations? Yes. Are we happy about what it cost? No, but old homes rarely care about what they cost in catastrophic repairs. Was it reasonable for the work done? Yeah, I believe so. Were there delays due to burdens bringing in different experts who were on a different timeline (e.g. excavation experts/asbestos mitigation). Yes. But the work was extremely professional, very well done, and really clearly communicated. They were unbelievably clean, courteous, clear in communication, and very hard-working on-site. Honestly, one of the best contracted experiences we've had, and we've had our fair share. The only reason I'm not posting 5 stars is because I didn't get extra bids due to the nature of the plumbing failure. We have a decent knowledge base to understand what some of these types of repairs run in cost, especially in 1943 homes, but I cannot say 5 stars when I didn't vet additional contractors; that's simply not a legit review. That said, this was no simple repair- it involved the city, carving through concrete flooring, excavating layers of dirt and rock (and hauling it out), asbestos mitigation to get to the concrete, flushing the line, and "sleeving" the line through a complex machinery access with a very expensive material, etc.

I have had very good plumbing experiences with this group until recently when I learned that a few of their plumbers are involved in kickbacks with a fairly disreputable water damage mitigation company. Watch out for people that suggest drytime or any water mitigation group too quickly because they’re getting kickbacks. I was told by a guy from three mountains that he would give his life to that company who has put a lien on my house because the insurance company will not pay their exorbitant fee fees And my insurance company views this mitigation company as one of the most disreputable in the area. Buyer beware and shame on you Three Mountains for not monitoring your plumbers a bit better than that.

This company took advantage of an elderly couple charged in 3 times over just to clean out a pee trap. This job should have cost no more than $250, and the poor couple were charged $1000!! This is elder abuse!!
