Was thankful when Reliable answered my emergency call on a weekend, because my boiler stopped working. Came out within a few hours to get it going again and returned next biz day to replace a needed part and permanently fix. All cordial technicians. However, Calmed later to express concern about the efficiency of the heating. Tech promised to return the next morning, but did not. Later that day, one of the boiler pipes sprung a significant leak. Reliable did not answer nor return my calls.

I contacted Reliable HVAC after discovering water leaking from my furnace/AC. Assuming a faulty condensate pump, I requested a repair. Ian responded and replaced the pump. However, he left without testing or confirming that the leak had stopped. Unfortunately, the water continued even after he left. I was billed $235, but the issue wasn’t resolved. I was overcharged for incomplete work and left without an actual solution. When the issue continued, I investigated further and discovered a block of ice had formed around the evaporator coils. All of this was visible and diagnosable with basic HVAC troubleshooting, which the technician did not perform. If you’re seeking truly reliable service, I recommend looking elsewhere.

Reliable HVAC and Plumbing is absolutely fantastic!! From the moment I called and spoke to Alex who arranged the service call and she scheduled their tech I knew I was in the best of hands. Tech Eric called me as he was on his way and arrived exactly on time as he’d said. Eric listened patiently and intently as I explained the issue with my furnace. He detailed what the usual possible causes could be and explained all the diagnostics he would do to rule them out and hone in on what the problem could be. Eric explained in great detail what he was doing and why. Eric narrowed it down and quickly found that the communications between the Thermostat and the furnace were faulting out and causing the furnace to trip off and fail to run properly. Eric quickly installed a new digital thermostat and tested it and the furnace thoroughly. He showed me how to operate the thermostat, set date and time, heating and cooling - I dont even have to read the owners manual - Eric explained everything in great detail, with a smile, taking his time answering all my questions. It’s clear that Eric and Reliable HVAC are the best I’ve ever dealt with and I’m Happy to be their customer for life. Great work and thank you for getting me back up and running so quickly! I felt compelled to leave this review as I never had such a great experience when it came to resolving plumbling issues. Our water heater went on Tuesday and we happened to noticed right away around 2:38 p.m., my husband called Reliable and they came out right away. They were here around 3:10p.m. same day. Hunter was extremely professional, easy to communicate with him, personable, very knowledgeable. They never asked for a service call fee, he immediately told us the price, recommended a better product. We immediately said to go ahead and within 45 minutes he was back with a new water heater. He promptly installed it, hawl the old one out to take with him and cleaned after himself. He was prompt and efficient. He replaced the copper pipe that had multiple welding from how many times the water heater had been replaced. He also replaced few valves. It looks clean and professional. After installation he explained everything about the water heater and how to trouble shoot different scenarios. He was done by 6 p.m. I have to say, I was very impressed with how prompt and efficient they were (specially Hunter) to resolve our problem. Highly recommend!!!!!

Of all the subcontractors our builders hired to build our home, I thought Reliable HVAC was by far the most competent. So much so that I hired them to improve the home's HVAC system that was too noisy and inefficient as planned, as well as installing a whole home humidifier. They also replaced a broken water heater and fixed the poor plumbing by previous plumbers the builders hired. Unfortunately, as soon as I submitted a final "punch list" to the builders for our builder's warranty, Reliable totally ghosted me. The owner Ian no longer responds to my text messages, the plumber won't respond to a message, even the office didn't respond to a web complaint I submitted, after requesting to hire them YET AGAIN to install a backup sump pump system that I knew we needed, and then our entire basement flooded after heavy rains, destroying most of our finished basement in our brand new home. I don't know what happened here, but I will now refer to them as Unreliable HVAC & Plumbing as I deal with multiple contractors trying to repair the needless damage caused to our home.

We returned from Thanksgiving to no heat in our house. I called dozens of repair companies and not only was nobody available to service our heater but the customer service was wretched everyplace I called. They were all so busy and treated me as if they were offended that I called. Then I found Reliable HVAC & Plumbing. Ian showed up within hours of receiving my call. The problem was much larger than we anticipated and I ultimately needed the entire furnace replaced. Ian and his team were able to find a new unit and have it installed the same day. They were professional and quietly did the job while I worked. I hardly knew they were there and the place was spotless when they were gone. Ian finished the job and personally completed all the paperwork I needed for my rebates. A++ service. I highly recommend them without hesitation.

Ian and his team recently did a lot of work for us on our old Victorian home. They replaced the boiler and water heater, replaced a long run of cast iron sewer pipe in the basement, installed 2 toilets, installed a new powder room vanity, installed a new garbage disposal and kitchen faucet, and checked to make sure all of our radiators work (they also did some troubleshooting on the ones that weren't working and got them to work). They did an amazing job. Clearly, Ian and his entire team take great pride in their work and hold themselves to a very high standard. On top of that, they were very kind and respectful to our home. They will be our go-to company in the future. Thank you, Reliable HVAC!

Firstly, it's great to see a young entrepreneur like Ian running a major business. I often judge a company based on its after-sales service, and many businesses fall short in that area. Once they have your money, they often feel no obligation to address your concerns. This is where Reliable HVAC exceeded my expectations. The team was very proactive and addressed two of my main concerns even a month after the installation was completed. No questions were asked— a team was dispatched immediately to assess the situation. They also took full ownership of the entire MASS SAVE refund process, which was seamless. I highly recommend this business if you're looking for excellent after-sales support.

Plumbing is never fun nor enjoyable like other home renovations, but is a necessary evil and when it comes up it's critical. I've used lots of plumbers in many states, they were always more difficult than the plumbing and moving at the speed of my clog. When I had an unexpected plumbing disaster, the team at Reliable HVAC & Plumbing was able to take on a large project where many other plumbers said no. Their flexibility, speed, and collaborative style made the entire experience joyful. These guys are the next generation of plumbers with high energy, speed, and finesse; highly recommend to anyone who has a challenge with plumbers!

The group of people I have dealt with have been wonderful. I work for a medium size company and everyone at Reliable has been very attentive to my needs and has shown excellent professionalism for all services that they have performed. The heating furnace in my apartment started emitting a loud noise and suddenly stopped working. Alex kindly agreed to schedule an appointment for me the very same day.
