⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Reliable Heating — Blake Made All the Difference I recently replaced my tankless water heater and explored multiple options and companies before choosing Reliable. Blake's visit sealed the deal — and his expertise likely saved me from a costly mistake. Blake arrived within two days with a comprehensive quote. He walked me through three solid options: an eighty gallon hybrid, a non-hybrid model, and a smaller hybrid. His recommendation was straightforward and backed by real measurement — the eighty gallon hybrid would fit, and the price difference was justified. He knew his product line inside and out, and he spoke with absolute confidence about everything. He never once said "let me check with the manufacturer" or "I need to verify that" — he simply knew these systems like the back of his hand. What really stood out: another company (TE Certified) had suggested I'd need to tear down walls to install the unit. Blake immediately recognized that was wrong — this is a zero clearance model. That kind of knowledge protected my home and my wallet. The pricing was competitive, and Reliable was willing to match other quotes. Once I committed, the water heater arrived and was installed within forty-eight hours. The installation itself was seamless — immense preparation, care for my home, and professionalism throughout. Corey, the electrician, was exceptional as well, rewiring the old connections with the same attention to detail. The bonus: the unit runs cool enough that it's also keeping my garage significantly cooler. Blake did warn me about that — another example of his proactive, thorough approach. This was a significant investment, but it's already paying dividends. I also discovered that my previous water heater was causing issues with my electrical panel. Upgrading averted what could have been a real crisis down the road. Blake is courteous, punctual, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in getting it right. I cannot recommend him and Reliable highly enough.
Angelo Murry was sent out by Reliable Heating and Air to address an issue with my furnace. He was great! Everyone I have interacted with from the company have been knowledgeable and friendly. Really good customer service. As a result I signed up for their furnace maintenance program (I think they call it “Comfort as a Service “) I am sooo glad I did! Angelo was very easy to talk to, very informative, answering all of my questions and it was clear he knew his business very well. Like many people, I have had experiences with Service people who didn’t know much more than I did about whatever they were working on. So I really appreciate people who are expert in their field. Angelo was clearly an expert in his field! Within the first few minutes of looking over the furnace, he identified the problem and identified some oversights in the original installation that was done by another company. I’m sorry this review was so long, but I just wanted to say how thrilled I was to be dealing with a Company that knows how to give good customer service and has personnel who absolutely know what they’re doing!. Thank you, Angelo Murry and thank you Reliable Heating and Air!
Melvin Sidney my sales representative showed me great customer service during the estimate process. Melvin explained everything to me and because of him I’m a reliable customer for life. William, Angel, and Harry did a great job. They all went above and beyond and the service each one of them provided. Because of all employees professionalism I will definitely recommend reliable to my family and friends. Great experience all around from the estimate stage to the final clean up.
Update: it’s been several months since my HVAC install. Since the install I have been ghosted by my home comfort advisor Charles Cofer and the customer agents try to be helpful but ultimately can’t reach Charles either. This process has been very frustrating since the installer left 2 holes in my walls and cracked the ceiling in multiples rooms. I was told by Charles that Reliable Heating and Air would take care of the ceiling repairs but nobody has reached out to me despite how much I’ve tried to reach out to them. To make matters worse, I never received a contract or receipt of the HVAC rental and I was told I would receive 6 months free which has not been honored. Be careful with reliable. My advice would be to make sure they have taken care of everything before you do your final sign off. They could care less about their customers after a contract has been signed. I still want to shoutout Luis from Reliable. He did an amazing job with my HVAC install. He seen an issue with the original installation, communicated it to me to where I could understand, and proceeded to explain how he would fix the issue so that everything is done correctly and professionally. Luis displayed a high degree of knowledge about everything related to HVAC and he remained nice and respectfully to me, my family, and my property the entire time.
Terrible. They need to change their name because they are not reliable at all. Had full maintanance plan and repairs. They consistently are dropping these plans, new owners etc. They are terrible.
Company operates unethically. They promote their maintenance services, including semi annual preventative checks that are covered by the maintenance agreement. To be clear, signed on for the service for my parents home to help prevent issues because no one wants to get a that sudden phone from your over 80 y/o parents that they have no heat or AC. However, the company makes no effort to contact you to schedule those preventative services. When I pointed that out after 18 months of no preventative service, they specifically state the contract language indicates the customer has to call to initiate the service. Also, comes as no surprise that billing does not answer the phone. Left a voicemail message over a month ago and did not get a call back. Called again today after being charged another month of maintenance service and had to leave another voicemail.. I then spent over 20 minutes with customer service to cancel. By the way, they say they’re not responsible for the billing department, but I pointed out that they’re called customer service for a reason. Too many other service providers to waste your time or money. Signed on with another provider who proactively sends out text and call reminders and sends scheduling links for your preventative appointments.
Been using this company since I bought my house a couple years ago. I signed up for their HVAC service for 30 dollars a month. I never heard from them to provide services/maintenance on my HVAC unit. When I called to set an appointment, it was alway a couple months out. When they finally came they just changed the air filter, which I could easily do. When I tried to cancel the service plan, I was informed it couldn't be done online or on the phone...red flag!!! I was given an email address to cancel the service. When I sent an email to the address I received a bounce back email stating the email address is invalid. I was unable to cancel the service and the result was I was charged for two months. What did they provide????Nothing... please avoid this company at all costs. If you need Assitance with your HVAC system please contact one of their competitors for better more reliable service.
I had a very disappointing experience with this company. It has been nearly a month since the installation, yet I still have not received the promised full-payment receipt or warranty documents, despite multiple requests. To make matters worse, I received a "Past Due" notice for a balance I had already paid in full. When I contacted the sales representative to resolve this, he was extremely uncooperative and even mocked me when I complained about the property damage caused by their installers. It seems they only care about making a sale and have zero regard for customer service or professional accountability. I am still waiting for a proper resolution.
We needed to have our upstairs AC replaced. We decided to go with Reliable because our advisor Sara was very thorough in figuring out the exact system we needed and how to improve our ducting to get the most out of the system. Also the total cost was reaaonable. On installation day Brendin and Julian arrived on time and got straight to work. They were very careful to ensure they put down protective sheets to prevent damage to our floors during the install. At the end we did a walkthru and everything looked great. Overall the process from consultation to install was quick and easy thanks to the professionalism of the team.
Tec arrived to repair my AC within a few minutes he stated that my unit was 11 years old and was not worth repairing and advised that I should replace rather than repair . I declined and paid service call contacted another repair co they found my Freon leak repaired and recharged in less than 1hr l have been using Reliable for over 10 years but am very disappointed. They are not interested in repairing only selling new units so sad tec appeared to not know how to diagnose or repair anything I would like a refund of my service call
Great initial value. We had our main floor and upstairs units replaced with one year from each other. We purchased these units under the finance plan with the maintenance coverage. The units have preformed flawlessly since the replacement. The maintenance was very easy to schedule and the tech showed up when they stated they would and were completed with Greg complete check on both systems with an hour and a half. We are very satisfied with the service as well as the purchase of these two units.
I would just like to say the experience was very fast. I’m a guy that worked nights so I had these guys come in at 12. They were very efficient. They were very clean. They rode a red carpet out on my hardwood floor so it will get damaged and they had to be done in four hours. Had a very good attitude our recommend anyone to try to you guys. also move my hot water heater from the attic and found a sweet spot in the garage. The bundle process saved me a lot of money. Also thank you you guys.
Everything went like clockwork, installation of new HVAC system began a little earlier then scheduled, the installers were friendly & cleaned up as promised. I was given instructions on how to use the smart thermostat as well as left the provided information that was in the box. I received a call the next day from Reliable inquiring how the installation went and asking if I had any questions. Top notch service from a top notch company in my book.
Shaw and his helper, Mark, came to our home at 1500 Liberty Lane to install a new A.O. Smith Water Heater. They did an outstanding job! They had to work around a big problem, however, that wasn't their fault. The doorway was slightly too small to get the old water heater out. Shaw had to remove part of the door jam, and that solved the problem. The new water heater works great!
Reliable has been, well, reliable since we started working with them to get new AC units about five years ago. They made a huge expense manageable and provide maintenance and service for the units with their comfort as a service program. If you haven’t spoken to anyone there about their services then you should. You won’t be disappointed!
