I've never worked with Reedy Plumbing for their plumbing services, but I have spoken with Brian at Reedy Plumbing professionally. Brian is very professional and honest in him communication with me. I hope to work with him in order to help solve some of his gaps in his operations. With that being said, I would highly recommend anyone who needs plumbing services in the Wimauma area to reach out to Reedy Plumbing. I'm confident they will provide great service.
I have had the pleasure of working with Reedy over the past 4 years and they are extremely professional and honest people. I look forward to working on more projects with them in my new home we just moved into. Keep up the great job!,,
Andrew from Reedy Plumber arrived today and provided us with outstanding service. He was on time, professional and helpful with suggestions and went the extra step to ensure we were completely satisfied with his service. Reedy Plumbing exceeded our expectations and it is without hesitation we would recommend them for all your plumbing needs.
Wish there was an option for below 1. They lie to the elderly, waist weeks of delay to an emergency situation and only come clean when asked for specifics. My elderly mother has had what started as a small leaks coming out of her driveway for the last 8 months, it is now more steady. After going back and forth with her association for 6 months she contacted Reedy directly to come look and fix the issue, even willing to pay for it directly. At the first appointment they stated she would need to hire a sonar company to determine the depth and what pipe is leaking. She hired Hydrascan and on October 29th they indicated it was the water main over 6 feet deep. Reedy stated to my mother they would file a claim with the county to be present upon work since it could be their issue. She called 2 weeks ago to see if the county had responded and if a date was set yet for work. The concern being if it's a main line it could explode and the continued erosion under her driveway that could cause a collapse. 2 weeks ago Reedy indicated they had not heard from the county but would follow up and contact her back. This morning, she contacted them again for an update but this time requested the application # filed with county so we could follow up directly. It was only then they admitted they had never filed anything with the county and "would not be able to do work due to extent of the project" WHAT!! Why have you waisted 6 weeks of valuable time and possible extreme danger to my Mother? I will be filing additional grievances regarding this incompetent company! It won't allow me to respond to your review response. But ask Stacy in your office who refused to give me the contact information for the owner when I requested it 3 times. She just wanted me to email her. I sent a contact request with my information on your site.
Just stopped in for the convenience of needing 6 PVC fittings. I've been in the irrigation industry for 30 years so I have a very good idea of what PVC fitting should cost. I figured I would pay a few dollars more for the mere convenience of stopping at this roadside Plumbing place. Clint helped me with the fittings but absolutely took complete advantage of the situation and charged me 50 bucks for six fittings. I'll never do that again. Thanks Reedy Plumbing. Update..... the reply from Brian is appreciated but I must say it didn't lessen the sting of being gouged to the tune of about 500% what I would normally pay from my supplier. Wasn't going to mention anything about Clint's advice on pipe sizes but what he actually did was let me know he didn't know what he was talking about since the fittings fit the pipe that I had. I didn't want him to be embarrassed so I just let it go when he said what he said. Outside diameter of a 3 inch pipe doesn't change whether it's schedule 40 or thin wall. That little bit of information should serve you well for years to come. Furthermore, I can totally understand why you don't get foot traffic for people looking to buy a few PVC fittings. Triple the price of Home Depot will do that. Lesson learned. Good luck in the future with that.
Our initial contact with Reedy Plumbing was in December 2015 when Reedy Plumbing responded to our need for an emergency reroute of our main water line. At that time, we had heard of Reedy Plumbing's Annual Maintenance/Service Contract and asked about it. Brian Paskert/Lead Technician on the reroute had noted our house had just finished being remodeled (kitchen, bar area, master bath, and guest bath) and advised while we could get the Annual Maintenance Service Contract that given the recent house upgrade it would not be advantageous to us given the newness of our primary plumbing system. Based on Mr. Paskert's honesty, we decided that when time had passed, we would reengage with Reedy Plumbing. In May of 2021 disaster struck when our water pressure on our house water line and sprinkler/outside faucet water line dropped significantly. After excellent assistance from the Hillsborough Water Utility the cause was determined to be our problem and we decided to contact Reedy Plumbing to not only fix the water pressure issue but to activate the Annual Maintenance Service Contract. May 19, 2021, Mr. Clint Paskert conduct an in-depth plumbing inspection of our entire home and activated the Maintenance/Service Contract. Reedy Plumbing's Clint Paskert along with two apprentice plumbers Jason and Andrew on June 7, 2021, came to our home to verify the trouble shooting we had done with Mr. Tom Jackson of the Hillsborough Water Utility. The results of that work including fixing the water pressure issue and fixing the eight areas of improvement, which the labor was covered under the Service/Maintenance Contract and parts were at a reduced cost but also identified a major code-violation in the plumbing of the kitchen sink and provided a detailed estimate of work and cost to fix the code-violation, which if we wanted to sell our home, it had to be fixed. During this work visit the organization, the work ethic, and team communication observed was outstanding. As well all work areas were protected and then left as clean or cleaner than before the work started. We accepted the estimate for the code-violation work and on June 22, 2021, Mr. Clint Paskert and apprentice Andrew arrived to tackle the code-violation plus two other items we had requested to be addressed. Given the cabinets were newly installed in 2015 and were high-end cabinetry Mr. Paskert who had to go through the back of the cabinets, chip into a concrete wall with the intent of not disturbing the sheet rock on the opposite side in the dinning room, find the section of pipe that technically was too high thereby causing the code violation, remove that section, and then install the proper pipping so that the drainage was up to existing code requirements. Total success was achieved, and a minimal amount of damage was done to the cabinetry in the 'back' of the cabinet that is not visible and the sheet rock/paint on the opposite side was not disturbed in any way, shape, or form. During the entire process, with the assistance of apprentice Andrew, the work was slow and meticulous, the work area was kept clear of debris by stopping work and removing the debris, reexamine the work area to determine where the pipping was (remember there is no As-built drawing showing how and exactly where the pipping was running...); however, that was overcome by Mr. Paskert's lifetime experience in this line of work and the removal of the concrete wall was minimal and the problem was fixed. Mr. Paskert advised us that while the problem was fixed, he was coming back to make the area that was chipped away cosmetically correct. Mr. Paskert and apprentice Andrew then completed the two additional plumbing requests that we had made and as before, left the work areas as clean or cleaner that when they started. It is rather simple, Reedy Plumbing's Clint Paskert and the two apprentice plumbers Andrew and Jason are the definition of Professionals! Besides their expertise the friendly approach the take with their clients is equally as noteworthy; they make you feel that this is their property and that it is important to make sure everything looks and works as designed. For as long as we own this property and then when we leave it to our children, we will have the Annual Maintenance Service Contract with Reedy Plumbing so that IF there are any plumbing issues in the future, we know they will be addressed quickly, professionally, and like it was their own property.
If you read reviews, this is the one to read! I don’t think I can say enough about this company and the technician, Clint, who came to service our water heater. In December of 2020, just 3 days before Christmas, our water heater started smoking from one of the wire panels. I had called several companies before Reedy Plumbing, two of which told me over the phone we most definitely needed a new water heater. When Clint returned my call I explained in detail what had happened and the issues we had leading up to it. He informed me that we may need a new water heater but that he believed he could fix the issue and would do everything he could to avoid having to get a new water heater. Clint came after hours, he was extremely professional and friendly! With in minutes we knew that we would need a new lower thermostat. Clint had everything with him and fixed the issue quickly. I was anticipating over $300. With it being after hours I honestly expected a lot more, plus a tip. When Clint came out of our garage with the bill He said Merry Christmas as he handed it to me. I then asked him how much the bill was. He said nothing. I was really in shock and stunned at his generosity and immediately insisted he at least take the tip, which he politely declined. Something Clint did not know, was that we have 5 children, and that my son had been born on the pavement of our driveway a little over a month ago, delivered by his father, the day before the major storm. We didn’t make it to the car, let alone the hospital. 3 short days later my son was having some tests ran for extremely high bilirubin(jaundice), later that evening he stopped breathing several times over a very brief time, between the first episode and the time it took for an ambulance to arrive. We were bounced from hospital to hospital over the next 3 days, all of which I was unable to ride in the ambulance with my 3 day old son, due to “COVID” We had just gone through a very terrifying experience, I was still shook up about seeing all of the things they had to do to my son while in the hospital. Clint’s generosity was such a weight off of my shoulders, if even only for a brief moment. It is truly a blessing to have met such an amazing soul. Thank you Clint and Reedy Plumbing!
I have written a few reviews. I only write a review for somebody who I feel really deserves it whether it’s good or bad not that that matters to you anyways as the reader, but that is why I write reviews as far as Reedy plumbing. I am 100% satisfied with Reedy plumbing they have been in business for generations. That means something. Yes they are a little expensive but you get what you pay for. I am a retired electrical contractor. I spent 25 years in residential electric and I know what it’s like to deal with a customer, you can’t please all the people all the time sometimes you can’t please half the people half the time Some people are just ridiculous with these reviews and don’t realize what it can do to a company to trash them over something stupid. Well, I encountered Brian last October when we were looking to purchase this house. The seller had the sewer line videoed and the person who did it was saying it needed relined two other plumbers one of them being Reedy plumbing said it did not need to be relined, and if I really wanted to do it, they would do it for half the price that the company was asking anyways when I bought the house and started to have a plumbing issue I called back Reedy plumbing. They came back out to my house fixed the problem which wasn’t cheap but a week later another problem came back. They came back out to my house again. The house is 57 years old And I was thinking oh no now what? Well they just fixed the problem again this time he didn’t charge me, that he is standing behind his prior work it was a different problem! He could of charged me, but he didn’t after all I was at his mercy so hats off to Brian, Reedy plumbing has my work for as long as I’m living in the Sun City area and my bathtub needed a fix he helped me find the part because the one I bought at Home Depot was the wrong one so I can screw that on and do it myself. He didn’t have to do that either so as far as reviews, you can’t go wrong with Reedy plumbing‼️
We have used Reedy for many years in Sun City Center. Never been inexpensive but served us OK so I can't understand all the negative reviews. I feel I recently got excellent service for that higher price and an outstanding plumber. Recently had drain unclogged and toilet replaced. Extremely impressed with Jesse! He was professional, courteous, patient with a slower senior citizen, and most importantly he had attention to detail and went above and beyond my expectations. For example, the new toilet required some "tree trimming" of the roots coming from the foundation - a lot of it. No problem. The new toilet had a smaller footprint than previous and the new footprint didn't cover the old. No problem. Cleaned up the old caulk and looks great - very professional. Cleaned all work areas. He came back to close the propped open storm door when we couldn't figure out how to. Every sentence ended with ma'am. Finally on a previous visit we asked about the mineral deposits staining the toilet and sinks. Someone remembered that and Jesse was told to bring out the heavy duty cleaner and scrub them as clean as he could and many now sparkle. He answered all our questions. One star off for price, but I got Nordstrom service at Nordstrom price. Homeadvisor.com says $330 average price for new toilet install and up to $575 on high end. We were at the high end, but I also take these sites with a huge grain of salt - they are a lure to get business, but provide a decent reference. I wanted the service - Jesse was thorough, and spent a lot of time on details and I never felt rushed. That is huge for me! You have time to think and ask questions. Left us feeling well taken care of and will return. Jesse was an exemplary plumber experience over the years with Reedy and set the bar. If you want Walmart prices for great service, you may want to go elsewhere.
We used Reedy Plumbing for our Master Bath re-do after a shower pan failed and we decided to have the 30 year shower replaced and updated. Brian spent a great deal of time with us discussing options, hardware, budget and we decided to have them do the entire bathroom. So glad we did because they found a slow leak behind the vanity in the wall we didn't know about-we were informed, shown what they found and approved the additional charges which were reasonable. We had them update the toilets in both bathrooms and added a kitchen faucet to the projects. We were impressed that Brian was not only an owner giving the estimates, but here with a team member throughout the entire project. They aren't finished until you are happy and we had a short punch list which they attended to carefully. Yes, you'll have to wait to get on the calendar (good technicians are busy) and yes, you get what you pay for. If you want a trained, licensed plumber with experience to solve your plumbing problems reliably you can't go wrong with Reedy. In addition, they did a great job on the tile work in the shower which was a bonus for us - one less trade to schedule in the project. You can hire a painter/dry wall person to finish the project, but when you need plumbing done well, then call Reedy Plumbing. They are now our family plumber.
We recently purchase a new kitchen facet and called Reddy to replace the old one. Was going to do it myself, but doing a contortionist routine just to see under around the sink to see how they were fastened, and finally jamming the camera up there to take a few pictures---I decided "Time for a plumber!" I called Reedy because they are local and neighbors had used them with no problems. He showed up on time, and the first thing that happened was that he couldn't shut the hot water off---valve was stuck. Went to his truck and came back with a metal valve----the old one was plastic and with age apparently fused itself together. I hate plastic valves. He removed the old facet, put the new one in and everyone was happy (that includes my wife). I was impressed with the plumber---he knew his stuff. Very professional and did the little things that count, such as protect the work area first and cleaned up after. But, the only comment I could make was the sent a tall plumber instead of someone that was smaller and could easily get under the double sink. I would recommend Reedy plumbing for any job. Yes, they are not cheap, but to me the professionalism and workmanship justifies the cost.
If you are looking for a reputable Plumbing Company, Reedy Plumbing is the way to go. I had a bad shower pan upstairs that leaked down to my kitchen ceiling and Reedy Plumbing came in, identified the problem, started repair, came across another unexpected problem (mold) which my tech told me had to be addressed before they could proceed (as a safety precaution to my family). Once that was addressed, they continued the work-which included replacing my shower pan and reinstalling tile and shower doors. The plumbing technician who worked on my project (Brian) is superb and gets a 10 star rating from me. I initially interviewed 3 companies and out of all of them Brian was very detailed in describing what needed to be done. Throughout the process, we could see that he knew what he was talking about. In short, Reedy Plumbing is the company you want to go with and Brian is your guy. (Now I understand why it was so hard to get on his schedule - he's definitely valid!!!) Thank you Brian - From the Dopwell-Hall's.
This outfit is HORRIBLE! I bought a rental unit in Sun City Center - Reedy had done work for the previous owner and totally took advantage of her. Here is a list of what they installed/services provided: Tankless water heater - with 2 tanks, Reedy had been called in twice, never repaired anything RO water filtration system - have had 2 service calls, nothing ever resolved with the rattling and squeaking noises An insane water "irrigation system" with 3 main shut-off valves and 2 pressure gauges - 2 plumbers shook their heads when they saw it and couldn't believe what they installed. I spent close to $1000 with Reedy in 2019 - they did NOT STAND BEHIND their work. I spent another $1,400 to have their shoddy work corrected. The person who answers the phone (Sandy) has some of the worst customer service skills I've ever experienced, she should really find a new job or retire. Buyer Beware - I think they are predatory toward seniors and may try to sell things or work that isn't necessary.
Our garbage disposal side of the sink was not draining. I’m minimally handy so I tried the usual methods of unclogging it, but was unsuccessful. It was after 7pm and I decided to call in a professional. My search led me to Reedy Plumbing where I found a family company that has been in business for 60 years and was local (I prefer to support our local businesses and neighbors). I called and spoke with Brian who was very courteous and professional. After explaining the issue he felt confident he knew what the problem was and came out to our home. Within 15 minutes the clog was discovered and the perpetrator, our 12 year old disposal, was the culprit. Brian replaced our disposal, tested it, went over all the do’s and don’t’s, filled out the paper work, even cleaned our under sink rubber mat. Brian was professional, courteous and knowledgeable and I can give my full recommendation to all who need plumbing service that Reedy Plumbing should be your first call. Thank you Brian.
My regular plumber was unavailable for a Saturday emergency, and gave me the numbers of 2 other Master Plumbers in the area. Recognizing the Reedy name, I gave them a call, and a plumber called within 10 minutes. When I explained my issue, he advised that he would be here within a 2 hour window (he made it in an hour). Al was polite & professional, and explained everything he was going to do & why after a few pertinent questions. He fixed the problem (clogged sewer line) within an hour, and while not cheap, the price was reasonable & in line with other plumbers. I would not hesitate to call Reedy Plumbing in the future. UPDATE: 3 days later I had to call them again, as I had another sewage backup. This time they went thru another roof vent, and tried hard to sell me on getting a camera inspection of my system at $350/hour, and an enzyme treatment. He used a hard sell that I did not like at all. I'm going back to my regular plumber.
