Our HVAC system bit the dust (residential, 2700 sq ft house w oil/hot air and AC, built in 1998). We had estimates from 5 different contractors ranging from $15k - $20k. RM&S came in at ~$18k, but proposed that we replace what we had with a combination of oil/hot air and an air-source heat pump. They were the only ones to propose this solution and they explained that CT would provide a $4k rebate and the bank would provide a 0.9% interest loan over 7 yrs. with this solution. That brought the cost down to $14k and a killer loan. After some research to validate the proposal, it became clear that it was a "no brainer". A state of the art system which would also save us between $100-$200 mos was icing on the cake. They held our hands through the entire process of rebate and loan, and showed up exactly on schedule. The techs were super cordial and accommodating and were in and out in a day and a half. There is absolutely nothing could have gone any better in their master class of customer service. My special thanks to Melissa who was all over this project like white on rice.

I have been a customer of Ralph Mann and Sons Inc. for several years, during which time the Company has performed routine maintenance tasks as well as HVAC upgrades for my 1940’s era home. These upgrades included installation of an energy efficient heat pump, an extension of baseboard heating in an existing room, replacement of a gas water heater one day following my request for service, and replacement of an old, defective and obsolete boiler expansion tank with one that is modern and trouble-free. The HVAC technicians were professional in every aspect of their services, were prompt and efficient in completing the tasks, took precautions to minimize disruption, and left the work areas clean and free of rubbish. The fees for services and equipment are very reasonable. I will not hesitate to rely on Ralph Mann and Sons for any of my future HVAC needs, and I recommend them in superlative terms without hesitation or reservation.

We recently had Ralph Mann & Sons replace a toilet in our home and the whole experience was excellent. Matt handled the job and was extremely thorough from start to finish. He took the time to make sure everything was installed properly and working perfectly before he left. What really stood out was how clean and respectful he was of the space. He cleaned up completely after the job, leaving the bathroom spotless. It’s clear they take pride in their work and their professionalism. My husband and I have worked with Ralph. Mann and their Office Manager Wendy for 46 years. Ralph Mann has always served us promptly and efficiently-several times wading through snow drifts to make sure we had enough oil We love Wendy! Talking to her is like talking to a friend. She makes sure we understand what we need, when service will arrive and the name of the technician. True professionalism all around!
