Once again I called Prodigy Rooter & Drain & had a plumber at my door within 30 minutes! Bob found our washout after a home inspector couldn’t find twice & Hiller plumbing, an overpriced operation failed to locate. Prodigy was very reasonable priced, informative, & friendly. The work was done cleanly & professionally. Thanks Prodigy, Bob was very helpful & efficient!

950 USD water jet. Had a gutter downspout that seemed blocked, with water pooling around the area. I suspected a water jet might fix it, so I contacted Prodigy on Friday morning. They scheduled me for noon the same day, then called back a few minutes later saying they had a cancellation and could come immediately. great responsiveness. The plumber arrived in a very clean, well-equipped truck and was super polite. I explained the issue and my concern that water was seeping into the crawl space. He quoted $950 to jet the drain and run a camera to diagnose the problem. Given the potential risk, I accepted. A week of rain ahead left me short of options. A few minutes into the job, he discovered the drain was actually blind and didn’t go anywhere. it wasn’t clogged at all. He then jetted an adjacent 50-foot drain to make sure it wasn’t connected and to rule out other issues. That drain was also clear, so no camera was needed and the visit wrapped up quickly. The final charge was $750. While I accept that I agreed to the quote, it’s hard not to feel the service was overpriced. essentially $750 to show up and jet a 50-foot drain that wasn’t even clogged. The plumber was great, but the cost felt high for what was actually done. I can’t shake the feeling this bordered on price gouging given how worried I was about the potential crawlspace damage, and I do wonder if my accent and the neighborhood played a role in how aggressively it was priced. Again, $750 to jet 50 feet of an unclogged drain—how is that close to $15 per foot?

Insanely unprofessional. Had them come out to replace a garbage disposal and immediately after had issues with my dishwasher. They inspected and said it needs a new drain pump and would order it. They then proceed to disappear for weeks of no response, no quote, nothing. I then call another company to come replace what I thought was drain pump and learned it was a plug from the garbage disposal that was installed. 2 minutes of removing the plug and dishwasher worked fine. Dozens of phone calls and messages and no reply. As someone that used them many times, incredibly disappointed and will not be back.

If you want an experienced plumber that knows his business, treats his customers with respect, and has extremely fair pricing, and great communication then my strong advice is to call Mark and his team at Prodigy. They saved us about $15K which we would have paid to the other plumbers if we went with their recommendation. Our 6 unit building had a shared sewer line blockage that created a minor catastrophe in Unit #1. The extreme emergency of the situation(sewage was involved) required finding a fast response and quick action. Hiller Plumbing was called for a Hydrojet to blow out the clog and resolve the problem. Hiller could not resolve the problem and still charged us $5200(were not paying) Hydrojet services can range in price but usually it's $700 to $1200. Hiller also wanted to charge us another $10K to dig up our lot to reach the pipe and clear the blockage. Through a little research the next morning I found Mark at Prodigy. I explained the problem and he 90% guaranteed he could resolve the problem with a Hydrojet, even thought the other plumbers failed. The cost would be $800 or no charge. Amazing! He arrived the same day, removed the blockage and cleared the pipe in about 4 hrs of work. He put in the extra time in and was persistent on not breaking ground if it wasn't necessary. Problem resolved. Thanks again Mark! We're all much happier now and plan on calling you for any future plumbing needs.

27 years ago we managed to buy the only wood house in our Franklin, TN neighborhood. It is now almost 50 years old. Need I say more? Well, besides exterior maintenance demands, we also inherited old pipes and plumbing that have only gotten older with time. On a septic system, we began to have inside back up issues from scaly iron build up to roots that seemed to be intruding everywhere. Several reputable plumbing companies offered an expensive solution; replace the pipes, specifically the main line that runs from underneath our slab to our septic. It was cracking and crumbling, a heartbeat away from collapse. Having heard of CIPP, a procedure which lines the interior of such pipes instead of replacing them, I found Prodigy Plumbing on line and had them give me an estimate. Mark was so professional and informative that I gave him the green light to proceed. His crew arrived right on time with state of the art equipment. Extremely polite and courteous, they completed the CIPP work in a day. Thrilled with the results, I happily started flushing toilets that now drained quickly and efficiently. Having saved thousands of dollars, I am a very satisfied customer and would encourage anyone with old pipes to give Prodigy a call. You won't regret it!

I had an unexpected fire alarm incident which led to the fire dept showing up at my house at 6am. They had identified a gas leak in addition to my smoke detectors and shut off my gas on the coldest day of the year. It was early Sunday morning and I frantically called about 10 places before Mark picked up the phone. He got out to me quickly after giving me a quote over the phone. They handled everything in such a timely and professional manner. After they located the leaks and fixed the issues they retested my lines and called me on my way back from Home Depot buying new smoke detectors to let me know that I could call the gas company to come back out to retest to get our gas turned back on. I would be remiss not to mention of have two toddlers who were with my wife as they worked fast to get me back online. I couldn’t have been more appreciative of their professionalism, service, and compassion for my situation especially with my two young children. What impressed me the most was his proactive approach, checking other potential problems in my home to ensure everything was in order. He provided multiple options for repairs, allowing me to make informed decisions. His professionalism, communication skills, and dedication to customer satisfaction were outstanding. I could never figure out why I always had a sewer smell coming through my floors. I had a clogged drain and called a different plumbing company ( My mistake) although they did get it unclogged but I still needed more work. I called Prodigy to get a quote and Mark showed up the same day. He set up the camera and walked me through everything that he saw. After he inspected he also informed me that the pipes installed were not up to code. I was informed of my quote on Friday and they were here on Monday. I learned alot from Mark, and Erik Espinoza. And I so much appreciate the lesson and information. Thank you so very much. I will be using Prodigy again but then again I hope not!!!

Mark at Prodigy Sewer & Drain was a joy to work with. Not only was he helpful in diagnosing my problem, he had technology readily available to provide multiple options in how to attack the issue. If someone had a need for diagnosis, descaling, hydro-jetting, or pipe lining, I doubt there's anyone better to work with in Middle TN and I'm not sure other companies have the modern equipment he has to tackle tough problems or hard-to-get-to pipes without major demo. When I left a message, he responded quickly and was super helpful, considerate, and very professional, even down to shoe coverings when entering my home.
