we had to have some old plumbing pipes replaced. Pro Tech employee, Joseph Hammett, was there very promptly. He is very knowledgeable, courteous, and personable. Did the work all in one day. The job was expertly done, and we plan on using him in the future.
Used this company for years but will not any more. Needed some plumbing work done after a pressure flow part busted outside my home and had no water inside. I was way overcharged since I looked up the part price after the fact and it only took him 30 minutes to change it out. I asked for an itemized receipt and only got a one line item receipt for the full charge . Never using again. I also had them come out at the same time to look at my HVAC that they installed 5 years ago only to be told it was a 3k charge to fix a part on warranty. After being over charged for the plumbing work I cannot trust they are pricing me fair.
Absolute nightmare to deal with. Poor communication, didn't pull permits, installed broken hardware. Go with literally anyone else. One star is too generous. They installed a new variable Daikin AC system, UV cleaning system, breaker panel, and home surge protector. The new AC unit died within a day and I had to call technicians out to fix the brand new system. After the new breaker box was installed part of the house would randomly lose power. Another tech came out to see what was going on and said an old broken breaker had been put in. He asked who did the initial work and wasn't surprised to hear it was done poorly. The new panel install was finished with "I hope the inspector doesn't look to close, this might not pass." After a month of trying to get an inspection scheduled with weekly calls and constant assurances it would be "done immediately" and "someone will call you soon" I asked the permits office if I can schedule it myself (especially after the issues with the breaker panel I was worried about the wiring) and they said no permit existed for the work that was completed. Finally after another few weeks of waiting the inspection was completed and somehow passed. Now I am sitting at 68% indoor humidity, mold growth in my home (I never had this problem before), and the only response from the company is "someone will get back to you soon" unsurprisingly to me no one is getting back to me. I waited to see if they could salvage the situation and make things right, but nothing happened aside from replies of "someone will get back to you." What's the point of a labor warranty if nothing is done? Now I'm probably going to have to call another AC company to figure out whats wrong with my system.
Used this company for years— apparently it was bought out. Pricing is beyond not competitive now- whoever the new owners are have zero clue what the going rate is in the area. I had one of your plumbers come out 2 days ago for a clogged toilet. Claimed he needed to pull the toilet- quoted me at $1200, and at my refusal he said the best he could do was $900. I laughed in his face bc I could have a whole new toilet installed- labor and materials- for that price. I brought a competitor out this morning- still a big company— and the plumber didn’t need to pull the toilet at all. It was fixed for $225. And he said even if he did need to pull the toilet it would have been half. I don’t know what happened to this company but nobody is falling for this new scam you guys are pulling. Stop telling customers they need services they don’t, and fix your prices.
I had this company install a central TRANE XV variable-speed unit in 2018. From the first year, I was paying for their “membership,” which turned out to be a scam — not beneficial to customers as they advertise. Filters were never included, and their maintenance visits were basically a quick five-minute drain vacuum before leaving. Over the years, I paid for several small repairs that were clearly overpriced, but I kept using them since they were the original installers. Now they’ve quoted me $4,000 just for labor to replace the coils — and didn’t even provide an itemized estimate, just one total price. That’s extremely excessive and not transparent. I can’t recommend this company based on my experience.
