Do not hire these bandits! The Virginia DPOR contractor database shows that their plumbing license expired in 2016, over 7 years ago (!!). Unlicensed contracting is illegal in Virginia. These jerks charged us over $200 per hour labor rate ($400 total) for a simple water purifier installation!

So here we were yesterday 29 April 2020 with major rain storms on their way and our sump pump decides to go on vacation. Only the small back up pump was working. This will make the 5th or 6th Zoeller sump pump that has fried itself in the 15 years we have been in the house. Terrific. I had been referred to Priority 1 Plumbing last year, but had not used their services. I called and left a message and less than an hour later the call was returned and a technician dispatched that same afternoon. Long story short, Luis reviewed the old installation and recommended a total replacement of the old system, battery and charging system included. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely. Luis had planned to be at our house between 1200 and 1600 today, but with the heavy rain I called and asked if he could come sooner. He did. His work was professional, neat, and definitely timely. Luis explained the new system in detail and provided all the proper documentation. Hopefully this will be the last sump pump we will ever need, but certainly if there is a need for other plumbing services, Priority 1 will be on speed dial. Great service.

Paul was a godsend! We had a really difficult situation where our sewer line got blocked two days after we moved into the house. After a frantic Google search we called a company with over 1,200 positive reviews, who turned out to be total crooks. We then went through 3 other plumbing companies with not much better results before calling Priority One. When Paul came over the next day he snaked the line with a special kind of device that actually cleared the blockage. It did not solve the issue permanently, but it allowed us to finally move back to the house from the hotel. And none of the other 4 companies even mentioned that as an option! We went ahead and hired Paul to do the permanent repair on the sewer line of course and have been extremely happy with his service. He has tons of experience, is very helpful and is just overall a very decent human being. From the start he treated us as human beings too, unlike the other plumbing companies who only saw us as a potential source of revenue. We'll be calling Priority One for any and all plumbing needs from now on. 100% recommended!

We hired Priority 1 Plumbing to install a new anode rod in our water heater. The existing rod and plumbing were installed by the original builder, so it was quite old with PVC lines to the water heater. We originally spoke with Christine to schedule the service and they ended up having availability for the same day. The technician, Michael, arrived within an hour or two of speaking with Christine. He swapped everything out on both the hot and cold lines from PVC to copper. Michael also added a new shut-off valve on the cold water line, a massive improvement from the flimsy PVC valve. Everything came out professional and clean! We were very impressed by the quality of the work, professionalism of staff throughout the process, and the price we paid for the work. Compared to other companies we had quoted, Priority 1 was by far the best quality and value; other companies weren't even including the swap to copper. Overall, I highly recommend using Priority 1 for your plumbing needs. We will definitely be using them as our go-to company for any plumbing in the future!

Matt installed new shower fixtures, sink faucets and toilets in my two apartment bathrooms as part of renovations. When he went to install a new bathtub there was a problem in that the old bathtub was an odd size, a weird size that is close to unavailable if that makes sense. Matt was able to move the tub plumbing, which went through concrete, to accommodate the new, standard size tub. He made it work and I really appreciated that. Probably not a big deal to him but it was to me. Matt is friendly, a really nice guy, knows exactly what he is doing and has all the tools to do it. He worked really well with my the plumbing supplier (Ferguson), my renovator (Ramey Home Solutions) and my designer (Allison Shortmeyer Interiors) - they all work as a team to fulfill the customer's vision. I will definitely call on Matt again as the needs arises.

We were troubled with a non-functioning water heater since this last Saturday. I contacted Golden Plumbing Services Monday morning and, after a long day of installing plumbing elsewhere, Mohsen came to our home late Monday afternoon. Mohsen very carefully examined the water heater and pointed out areas of concern, all of which made great sense to me. He felt that the water heater should be able to function after performing minor maintenance on it. Sure enough, after the maintenance the water heater fired right up, treating us to hot showers after three days. Mohsen's honesty and prompt service saved us expensive repair costs, or worse, water heater replacement. We have since contacted him for other plumbing needs, having full faith in his integrity and knowledgeable skills. VERY pleased in every way.

Had a leaky pipe in a wall that was supposed to be repaired a year ago by a different plumbing company. When this other company came out they did some little things stated it was fine and went on their way. This fall I went to turn on the water for gutter cleaning and water began leaking from the pipe that was supposedly fixed last spring by this other company. I called Golden Plumbing on the weekend, a very nice gentleman answered the phone and stated he would come out that evening, I told him that wasn't necessary that Monday would be fine. He came out on Monday on time and immediately found the problem and fixed the entire pipe with ease and instructed me on how to keep this pipe from having any issues in the future. I would highly recommend Golden Plumbing for all plumbing needs.

My well pump had broken Sunday, and without water, my situation was urgent. Matt called me back 20 minutes after I put my project out on Yelp. He said he'd be at my house by 9am on Monday to get it repaired. He was there on time. He evaluated my situation and explained why my whole system was shot. This wasn't surprising considering how much clay and iron is in my water and the age of my home. Anyway, he had it fixed within 3 hours after he left to go get the materials. He was respectful and clean. He put booties over his boots each time he came into my house and from my garage. I have nothing but positive to say about this locally owned business!

We are in the middle of selling our home. During the home inspection, a leak was found under the sink. I submitted a project request on Yelp and within a few minutes, I had five helpful companies contact me offering their services. Priority 1 plumbing was able to send someone out the next day. Luis showed up on time, found that the leak was from a crack in the garbage disposal. Within an hour, he had completely replaced the disposal and we no longer have a leak. The price was reasonable and Luis was very nice.
