Emergency Response

Quick emergency response and same-day service: multiple reviewers praise rapid arrival during urgent situations like sewer backups and burst pipes

What To Watch Out For

Pricing significantly exceeds industry standards: 8+ reviewers report bills they consider excessive or 'gouging', including $394 for garbage disposal install (< 1 hour), $2300 for three valve replacements and faucet install, $900 quoted for furnace cleaning, and $690 for a $10 part replacement

Aggressive upselling and unnecessary recommendations: multiple reviewers report being quoted for full system replacements when less-expensive repairs were sufficient (sewer line, furnace motor, AC/coil issues); one reviewer confirmed via second opinion that a $1500 motor replacement was actually a $20 capacitor

Work quality inconsistency and property damage: reviewers report messy sewer line work with uncovered dirt mounds instead of promised access, basement water damage from failed jetting procedure, and technician-caused damage during 'inspections'

Plumbline installed my HVAC system in my 30yo home a year and a half ago. Part of the program I signed up for was a yearly inspection, free for 4 years, to make sure the system will remain in top running order (you do know how much dust goes through the system, right?). Kelsey was my technician, and she was thorough, taking pics of the inside of the system, where dust begins to accumulate, and taking pressure readings of the air flow (I put filters over the cold air returns which did decrease the airflow somewhat, but not enough to damage the system). Kelsey will come back same time next year, and I like the service Plumbline offers.

Dominique came to our house to fix our leaking toilet. We even showed up early which is awesome. VERY professional but very easy to talk to. He was able to fix our toilet, and when he was done, he asked if we needed anything else.

Couldn't be more happier with Plumbline services! We had a sewer line backup and Plumbline quickly assessed and mitigated the backup. Because our line is notorious for tree-root invasion and because our line is too long (132ft from toilet snake access) for the mechanical snake, we also had them put in an outdoor sewer line access and water jet the line thereafter. With this access in the future the mechanical snake can reach the end of the line. Everything about the experience was top notch: Communications before, during, and after each step, the quality and care of the work by those involved, the explanation of the sewer-line issues, mitigation, and the reason for each mitigation step - all spot on and reassuring! Prices are comparably reasonable and the service and explanations absolutely the best!

I'm writing regarding two missed appointments with your team for the installation of a light fixture and an outlet. Both appointments required me to rearrange my work schedule (I work from home) and for my husband to be available. After the scheduled timeframe passed, we were told our appointment could not be honored due to overbooking. When I expressed my disappointment, the representative responded unprofessionally. We rescheduled for three days later. This is the second time we have experienced this issue with Plumbline. This situation is unacceptable, primarily since this installation was intended as a Christmas gift--my husband has been waiting for a light over our kitchen sink since we built our home. For the rescheduled appointment, we adjusted our schedules again, but received a call asking if we could extend the window due to delays. When we declined, the representative was rude. My husband filed a formal complaint. As former VIP customers, we fully intended to renew our commitment once the electrician arrived. However, the repeated disregard for our time and the lack of professionalism have made it clear that this standard of service is unacceptable. We are deeply disappointed.

I have worked with this company for a number of years and have spent quite a bit of money with them. I had work done on Thursday - no problem with the repair - and feel that I was gouged by the pricing. It was an outrageous amount of money - pickup and delivery charges for small parts - $218.00? That is GOUGING as far as I am concerned. I am disgusted and angry. I called the company but thus far have gotten ZERO response. So customer service has been lacking. Buyers beware - you will be spending a LOT of money to be their customer.

My grandson's hot water tank finally gave up the other night. Being an older home and not well maintained by previous owners there was no choice but to replace the old beat up thing. I went to Home Depot, found a tank, paid for it and Plumbline was calling to make an appointment even before I left the store. It was great. After Mike Quarry came to the house, looked at the mess, he told me what I should expect, etc. Changing a hot water tank isn't just that simple. Codes changed and I could see why some of the changes were needed. Either way I wanted everything up to code for 2023 and spanking new things. It couldn't be done that day so he came back the next day bright and early with Cameron. I had a problem with my bank but while I was out getting that straightened out Mike and Cameron were plugging away. They finished way early, got everything looking really nice and boy am I happy. The best of this transaction is I had gotten some summer crude so that I was so sick that Mike just guided me through what needed to be done and why and what the solution was. I was so happy with that. Since I live down the street from my grandson's I asked Mike if he would mind if I went home to sleep. He said I should probably do that. My grandson's who are 24 and 19 were home so they didn't need me. Mike and Cameron finished up early and called me. I'm telling you I was so happy but still sick. Mike was patient with me and explained as much as my mind could handle in a way that was not threatening, not condesending and truly was a help. I had to return the other tank but that was nothing compared to having a new working tank. And they cleaned up like a champ. They came to a mess but left it all cleaned up. I liked Mikes work so much I invited him back this coming Wednesday to repair something that needed to be replaced. And I have other stuff for him to do. Thanks Mike and thanks Cameron!!!

I had new flooring put in recently and had to have the toilet removed to get the bathroom done. Home Depot was in charge of the project and sent Plumbline Service technician Garret Pacheco to remove it, which he did. He told me the water shut off behind the toilet wasn't working and had to be replaced for $449.35. Wanting to get the job done, I paid for it. I asked for a receipt and he said he would email it to me. That was on July 26, 2022. My flooring was completed August 2nd so Home Depot tried to schedule a plumber from Plumbline to come return the toilet to the bathroom. Before he was done, he asked me to come look at the toilet saying it was not draining right and proceeded to take some toilet paper, throw it in the toilet and flushed it. It worked perfectly! He went on to tell me if there was a big load, the toilet would not be able to handle it. I weigh 115 lbs. and don't think there has ever been or will be a big load going down that toilet! I informed him that it worked fine and I didn't think I needed to fix it. I then asked him again for the receipt; he apologized and said he'd email it to me right away. I still haven't got it! I think this technician scammed me the first time and thought he'd try it again. He removed the toilet July 26th and was to come put it back after the flooring was finished. Home Depot Scheduling tried to get Plumbline back to do the job, but left numerous messages with them for days, ending up with getting Management involved. Two weeks and two days later the same technician finally came! Their trucks and advertisements all say "Service today! Guaranteed!" POOR Customer service!

Absolutely DO NOT hire this company!!! They are a total rip off, overpriced and designed to TAKE YOUR MONEY. I called about a over temp sensor not causing the heat to come on. The unit had a simple code (22). The technician came back with $3900 of unnecessary work!! Lucky Me, I sent him home and called our normal service company (shame on me for even trying to bring in a new vendor). When our normal service vendor arrived, it was determined that my sensor just needed cleaning, the unit vacuumed out and most importantly-change out the filter!! He did that for a total of $135!!!! There were no parts needed!!! Now going back to Plumbline Scam-They told me, I needed a new high temp sensor for $335 (i called parts and found out the part retails for $38), then he wanted to charge me $1600 for "cleaning"!!! When asked how long it would take to "clean the unit", was told a couple of hours. So, for $1600, the tech could clean the system in a couple of hours. THAT IS A TOTAL RIP OFF!!! Then told me my condenser fan motor was about to go out....tried to tell me the motor was $1700 for a rheem. I called to see what this motor cost and part cost $180.00-WTF!!! Plumbline wanted to charge $1700 plus labor!!! Going back to my normal service tech, He checked the condenser motor/fan, checked everything in the condenser and told me NOTHING IS WRONG WITH THE MOTOR/FAN!!!! So bottom line is this, if you see a hundred billboards with Plumbline on it, fancy trucks and fast-talking technicians that are trained how to make a homeowner feel stupid, so you get suckered into OVERPAYING, RUN THE OTHER DIRECTION!!! This is a BAD Company!!

If I could give zero stars I would. I had a nightmare experience with this company. First off, their commercials give the impression that they respond promptl, however, that is false. I had a sewer leak, which I thought would be urgent but it took them a week and a half to even come out. Second, after the initial inspection, I was left hanging. I called on multiple occasions only to be sent to voicemail, which only further delayed action being taken on the leak. After calling 2 other companies and getting outrageous quotes, I decided to give Plumbline a second chance. The INCOMPETENT plumber, Dave, who had been the last at my property called me to tell me to call someone else because my job "was too complicated". I was upset because of the stalling and a service manager called me back immediately after his call and told me that they would get to the bottom of this and take care of me. Well, the next day I get a call from a different service manager, rudely declining the job and basically calling me a liar saying that no one had discussed "taking care of me" when I had text messages to prove otherwise. He stated that he "didn't want to risk the safety of his crew". So finally I had one last company come out, Bell Heating and Plumbing, and guess what it was? I had a clog which was causing water to spill over underneath the toilet. No broken pipes, no need to crawl or dig in the crawl space! It took Bell 30 seconds to diagnose and if Plumbline had plumbers who were competent, they would have seen that as well! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH PLUMBLINE!! THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!

We did the Plumbline/Home Depot partnership special, where they come to your house and look at your HVAC system for a diagnostic. They are also on the Tom Martino list of vendors, and I have had good experiences going by that list in the past. The luck of the draw gave me Patrick, and I couldn't have been happier about my experience with his visit. First of all, I don't know anything about that stuff, and he gave me the results in an easy-to-understand way, without making me feel worthless. Patrick was detail-oriented, friendly, on-time, polite, and spent a large amount of time for my $38 visit price (I got both heating and A/C looked at so $19 times 2). I was expecting someone to simply downstairs, go through the motions, try to coerce me into spending more money immediately, and leave for a more expensive appointment. Not the case with Plumbline and Patrick. He talked real with me about future options, and I received the invoice, extensive pics, and future actions (WITH various price options) by day's end. He told me what I needed to have done, what I should have done, what I don't need done, etc. When we get the needed fixes done, we will definitely be using these folks, and I suggest you take advantage of a visit by them also if wary about your HVAC present state. I had heard about the company through TV ads, and loved their Plumb Crazy wordplay in the commercial, so I admit to not vetting out everyone. Good job, Plumbline Marketing Team! But, in the end, Plumbline, AND Patrick, gave me a great experience getting my HVAC present state. Highly recommend...

(1 star is a gift since there is no option for ZERO stars) Three years ago, Plumbline did a great job for us. In the times since then, it has been a disaster. Multiple late shows or no shows after we waited around for a tech to show up. We had a tech come out to clean the furnace and air conditioner that we bought from them. Over $800 and when we tried to discuss the exorbitant fees, we could not get anyone to call us back, despite repeated attempts. Then last week, the thermostat stopped working and we hired another HVAC PROFESSIONAL to help us out. Turns out, the Plumbline Technician broke one of the plastic bolts that held the plate on the front of the furnace and it eventually pulled away from the furnace contact and the heat went out. Our current repairman made a trip out to Carrier by the airport to get an $8 part to repair Plumbline's broken part. Again, repeated calls were made to discuss our frustration with the service manager, Todd Ryan. We were hoping he would do the right thing and reimburse us for the $200 service charge to rectify their mistake NOPE! Again, CRICKETS. Whatever transpired in the three years since my initial review has not been positive. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY .....EVER....THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK AND DO NOT RETURN CALLS. Todd needs to be fired and whoever did the job before should be reinstated. Next step is a YELP review and a formal complaint to the BBB. DISREGARD THIS PRIOR REVIEW .....

We had thoroughly wonderful experience with Plumbline Services. As a contractor for Home Depot, they came to my Arvada home and evaluated a non functioning 20 year old air conditioning unit determining that it needed replacement. Bryan Barrazza was the technician that performed the initial evaluation of the system. Based on Bryan's assessment, Jay Sohn designed a quality Carrier system, offering several options all at reasonable prices and oversaw every aspect of the project. Once we finalized all the details, they were able to schedule the install for the next day! We were in the middle of a heat wave so this was very welcome news. Jay was professional and very capable at managing not just the ordering process, but also the install to completion the following day and all post-install follow up. His communication skills throughout the process kept us informed every step of the way. The installation crew that was led by an individual named Carl and his team of 2 others was thoroughly professional. Matt Hurt was the electrician on the project. They were careful not to damage anything in our house and completed the job mid afternoon delivering us nice cool air. Everyone on the crew were professional and the quality of their work was meticulous. I am completely happy with the entire process and the final result. I highly recommend Plumbline Services for HVAC installs.

I had the following work done on my main floor toilet in December 2024: per the work order: Turn off water; remove water from tank ; bowl. Disconnect water supply line. Remove old parts. Install new fill valve ; flapper ; supplyline. Test for leaks ; proper flushing. Well the trip lever arm in the tank broke today, 2/5, so I called Plumbline, thinking this would be covered by the warranty. Nope, even though the December service said 'replace old parts' the ''old' trip lever arm broke which I had assumed was replaced in December service, and even though the December service claimed it replaced the flapper, it wasn't replaced. As it turns out I was today charged $185 for the work which I had thought would have been covered by the warranty. I had no problem paying for the new trip lever but ended up paying $125 after the manager dropped $60. That was OK but except for the cost of the new trip lever I think the service should have be covered by the warranty. The tech did a great job so no issue there, it was more an issue with the manager. I spent thousands with Plumbline over the past several months including the VIP service so this was kind of disappointing. Make sure you know exactly what is being covered by the warranty.

DISAPPOINTED - I will give them a few stars because they are timely and efficient when it comes to getting someone out in a day or two/their prices are predictable being a big brand company but they told me I needed a full sewer line replacement so I had another small business sewer company come out and check out the main line and they not only quoted me a more reasonable price but actually helped us find a solution that is not a full repair (we didn't need to do a full repair). Plus our technician couldn't even clear the drain which they have a note on their website saying " If the drain technician cannot clear your line it will be FREE." it was not free - we still had to pay for them to snake/pull the toilet which was $168 and we had to pay another $260ish to have them scope the drain + we would have to pay even more to get the scope video? (Dig It Sewer Repair scoped our drain FOR FREE) ... hear me out if its an emergency I guess they are okay to use since its timely but if you can wait and call around, reach out to other companies in the Denver area like Dig It Sewer Repair or Colorado Plumbing - GET MULTIPLE OPINIONS ON ANY BIG REPLACEMENTS SO YOU DON'T GET RIPPED OFF!

To be clear: experience working with techs is great, customer service is solid, products are good. The problem: both of my tune ups in 2024 which were scheduled 1-2 months in advance have been rescheduled the day before or day of. I purchased my AC/Heater from you, I pay the annual membership fee, what else am I supposed to do to not get bumped? I want to maintain the warranty provided, but you are making it difficult. Fix your scheduling system so customer experience is improved. 2025 and the chronic-rescheduling continues, what's the point of the VIP membership and scheduling appointments months in advanced? Plumbline & Wrench Group (the owners of Plumbline as of 2018) clearly don't care about keeping commitments to their customers. Pro-Tip - When I informed the scheduler that I'll probably stop using Plumbline due to the in ability to keep committed appointments they said they'll add a "Do Not Reschedule" flag to my account - sounds like only if you make threats do they treat you better.
